Delicious! Best "hole in the wall" Mexican cuisine. One side offers traditional options, while the reverse side offers vegan versions of favorites. I wanted a rice-bean-pico de gallo-guacamole burrito. The extra spicy salsa and chilis. So good, I think I ate some paper!Nice server. Will definitely be back.

My ONLY drawback is that the prices are insane - not at all correct for a quesadilla of small portion. It's delicious and the vegan options are great. I've been to multiple locations and the vibe is good, service is great. I like the Nacho Libre Quesadilla - it's yummy. I really wish the prices were better because that is the major drawback for me. I would come here more often, if not overpriced.I don't think you can go wrong, though, with the vegan options.

Great service!Came on a Saturday night 30 minutes before they close and I still received amazing five out of five customer service !!In addition to that the restaurant was packed full with every table taken. Very fun crowd!We decided to order our food to go. Ordered a variety of quesadillas and tacos. When we got home, we were all very happy and satisfied with the food that we ordered. Everything turned out amazing !!

The food is tasty but way overpriced for what you get. I was craving a burrito and wanted to try. A chicken burrito is $15.50. There are a lot of options in the area and I officially have given up to Dilla Libre. The guy who worked on a Wed night was nice and food didn't take long. But for this place to be a hole in the wall type of place the prices are not worth it.

I know this place is known for its quesadillas, but they have absolutely AMAZING tacos here. I only got to try two but both were phenomenal: the Banh Mi and the Chipotle Chicken. They were packed to the gills with filling, had really inventive flavor combinations that worked really well, beautiful sauces that enhanced - not covered - the flavor of the meat, and ... they were HUGE! Don't sleep on the side cucumber salad or the elote either, both were delicious. Finally, each of the 3 house-made salsas were really tasty and fresh.The people dining with me got quesadillas and raved at how they were encrusted with crispy cheese. I've never seen that before and it looked soooo good.There was only one fellow serving and slinging drinks, but he crushed it, managing to cover every table in what was a busy, but very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. He kept everyone happy, and being a real delight in the process. My only point of sadness was that they have 7 types of tacos but you can only get an order of 3 of the same. That's not so easy for someone who wants to try 'em all like I did... but for that you just come on Taco Tuesday when you can do just that. I'll be back real soon, Dilla Libre!

Our second time was a bit less amazing than our first time, but still pretty solid.We sat outside and the service wasn't great. I had to walk inside and order at the counter. Afterwards, they were more attentive. The chips and salsa were still 10/10. Honestly, that can make or break a place, and that def makes this place.My daughter came along this time and got the kids dilla and it came with fries. It was plenty of food for her (age 10) and it was $8.I got a vegan dilla with tempura cauliflower and peppers. It was a lot. I like a lot of flavor, but I wish the cauliflower was cut up more and not deep friend. It was just too giant and a bit greasy. I usually chop mine and roast it. Makes an excellent dilla filling. It was spicy and gooey and for sure good, but the cauliflower could use a little work.The guacamole and chips wasn't worth it. The guac needs a little work. Maybe add in some red onion or something. It just didn't taste as amazing as it does when we make it at home.

The restaurant was pretty clean. The waitress was quick and efficient. The mood around the restaurant was really chill and relaxed. I love the art on the outside wall. I had the chipotle chicken bowl. It was a pretty big serving and well worth the price. The only thing that I'm not a fan of is the parking situation. It's very easy to miss the pull in.

Looking for tacos prior to a long drive, Yelp delivered us to Dilla Libre. Kinda hard to access, but once you're in, you're golden.Sadly - once we entered the cute space we were hit with the overwhelming smell of trash. It was BAD. But, we persevered.The chips, salsa and guacamole were phenomenal - really amazing! The daily special agua fresca (Dragons Blood: pineapple, coconut and strawberry) was so good we ordered another to go! (Bonus points because you keep the mason jar it's served in!) The carne asada was ok - nothing special; we regretted not going with the carnitas.By the end of our meal we had acclimated to the smell (not sure if this is good or bad).

The service here is exceptional and it has a great vibe. The food, though, is different for the sake of being different, and proof that new or different aren't always better.I went on Taco Tuesday, so I was able to try three of their $3.50 tacos. They are tiny. The carne asada didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked, and although it was less tough than most Phoenix-area taco joints, it was far from tender.The Chipotle Chicken was not so good. The aioli tasted like barely modified mayo.The Banh Mi is a mismatch of flavors. I know many reviewers on here raved about it, but maybe this is why the Vietnamese didn't invent tacos?This place is about a 30-second walk from the less cool but much better and cheaper Chispa's.
