"My husband and I had a spontaneous date night on a recent Saturday and decided to go meet another couple for dinner / drinks at Luna by Giada...I'd been in once before for a hard hat tour before the restaurant opened, so I was prepared for the beautiful ambiance, chic decor, fun vibe, etc... but seeing it in action proved even better than I expected. The service was attentive and friendly (thanks to our waiter, Paul, and many staff members who refilled our drinks, stopped by to check on how we were enjoying the food, etc... )I enjoyed one of their speciality cocktails, a Caesar Salad with Shrimp, a taste of steak, and some shared sides of broccolini and asparagus. We skipped dessert and headed up to the 7th floor bar for an after dinner drink and people watching... it was quite entertaining!I cannot speak to the bill as our friends picked up the tab, but I'm sure it was extremely pricey. All in all, this place is worth a visit. I'm sure it will continue to attract a high end business crowd in addition to locals looking for a quality meal."

"My friend has been talking this place up as she said it's a must stop when in the plaza shopping at Rocket a Go Go. Today I finally stopped by with her to experience, and loved it! The staff member was super friendly and even advised of their current offer of a free original when you spend $10+. This allowed me to try both a drink and food item, which I enjoyed both! With the heat, I avoid dairy or heavier drinks so I went with a strawberry lemonade which was very refreshing for only $5! Love the cute murals on the wall for photos and it was cozy if you wanted to sip in the air conditioned building. I'll definitely return to try a milk tea in the future as they seem to have an amazing selection to try more items. Plus, a Yelp friend suggested their cold brew so I foresee a visit soon because I adore cold brew!"

"This place is still working out some kinks, but I really liked it for Happy Hour!I live a couple miles from here (and have lived on and off from this area for years) and I think this space has been vacant more often than not and I hope Gecko Grill is finally the restaurant that stays open for a long time.Like I said, I came here for Happy Hour (which they don't advertise on their website but I took a photo of). We got the mini bean chimis, a cheese crisp, and beef street tacos which were all great! I also like the chips and salsa they give you comes with bean dip as well. I will say the margarita I had was pretty run of the mill. Granted, I just got a standard house margarita, but when it was fairly weak (again, even by HH house margarita standards) and the first couple sips tasted lukewarm until the ice settled in). Also, they don't actually have a drink menu available right now. I think this will all come together in time. The restaurant itself is nice and service is friendly. They have a nice patio as well. I'll be back (especially since Happy Hour is seven days a week)."

"Each year, I am looking for a place that has the creativity to make beautiful custom decorated cakes but also one that tastes delicious. Why does it have to be so hard???This place is recommended for wedding cakes, but they were great helping me with my daughter's birthday cake. I worked with them via email just to see if they could make a simple design and to get a quote on pricing. Very gracious experience and saved me the trouble of driving to the physical store. The prices are a bit expensive which I expected since they do weddings, but the reviews made me keep an open mind. They also allowed me to come by to sample a few of the flavors which was awesome so my daughter was sure of what she wanted before we committed to the order.I was told to place the order a couple weeks ahead since they do book up, but that was pretty standard for this kind of work. They asked for a 50% deposit which was also fine with me. The end result was perfect! I opted to add the cake topper decorations myself so they gave me a simple design which was executed perfectly. They were very flexible to work with. The cake was a devil's food cake chocolate and was so moist! The filling was a raspberry compote and equally delish. My kid was happy and the guests enjoyed their cake and Mom was left satisfied with a new place to order my future cakes from in the future."

"Pretty solid Indian restaurant! The smell of all the spices hits you as soon as you enter, which is when you know it's real. It's a small and quiet place, but they do play indian music in the background, which I appreciated. There was one waiter for all the tables, and he looked miserable, but he got it done. We got paneer kati rolls for appetizers (not photographed), and for our meals, I got chicken Tikka masala, husband got lamb roganjosh, and we shared garlic naan and nut and raisin naan. I loved our entrees. They were a big portion, came with rice, and were extra buttery and rich. Only downside was the naan. They had no garlic/nut raisin flavor at all. They just tasted like regular naan."

"Amazing Japanese-style ice cream! Hard to find such high-quality, authentic desserts in Phoenix, especially natural (not artificial) ones like these. A mix of traditional Japanese flavors like matcha and red bean, American ones like cookies, and Mexican ones like dulce de leche. I recommend the matcha or uve ice cream with the taiyaki fish, which is like a soft waffle cone with your choice of filling. The place is very clean with a beautiful, simple style that will make you want to sit down to enjoy your treats. The staff is helpful and friendly. We are going back for the mini-fish with filling!"

"Within the last few years, I've become more and more obsessed with savory crepes. I've been fulfilling this desire with hunting down the best French bakeries and brunch spots, but this place came across my feed and I became so excited! Today, I finally got to try this Mexican crepe place with 6 of my friends and they nailed what I've been craving!Their menu keeps you on the edge since it changes monthly. It gives you good reason to return since you wonder how something unique will be executed next. My friends loved the sweet crepes, like the classic and the Red Velvet crepe. I didn't expect an actual slice of red velvet cake to be on our crepe and loaded with frosting. It was amazing! My favorites were the pizza one and the huevos rancheros crepe. I love these entrees by themselves, so to have them as part of crepes made it much more special. While waiting for the crepes to come out and the café (coffee) horchata drink that I ordered, I explored around the restaurant and there were little local gifts for sale like jewelry, Mexican candy, and other fun things. They do paint and sip days too! The order took a little bit to come out but it was worth the wait, especially since it was a bit busy this morning! The staff is so nice too! I love this place!"

They are about the same size as the ones that come in the pink box, and I don't know how anyone could eat a whole one by themself! They are warm and crispy on the outside and totally ooey gooey in the middle. The Brookie was great, but I really liked the R.O.C. - because it's filled with cheesecake. The others were all sweet, and this one felt a bit more balanced. There were eight of us, so we cut them into sixths and shared. You totally need a glass of milk to go with!The girl that helped us was super sweet, and we even met the owner - also very kind. We'll definitely be back!!!"

"What a fantastic first experience at this new local owned coffee shop. Not only was it easy to find with the signage out front when we opened the door we were greeted with a smile. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner a bit. Heat Coffee has been open about six weeks now. They roast and sell their own brings. That's great if you love to make coffee at home. I noticed they also offer biodegradable cups. If you're not a huge coffee drinker they also offer teas, lemonade, plant based drinks (canned), box water, and more. As you all know if you read my reviews I'm an avid cold brew drinker and it's a must for me and it tells me if it's a make or break second stop for me. Not only did they have it, but it was smooth, not acidic and great flavor. It wasn't over powered by the small amount of sf vanilla added either. My son was with me and he still is to blended options typically as he doesn't like strong coffee flavor. I asked for ideas and was recommended their Sunrise Latte which has their house vanilla syrup and caramel sauce. He LOVED his drink. That's a huge win because they don't offer blended, it was an iced latte and he's a teenager ha ha ha. Seriously though he's picky and it was great for him. I try to avoid too much sugar and even I enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet and just enough coffee taste for him. Once we ordered and were waiting for our drinks we looked around a bit more and we laid eyes on some baked goodies in a case and we had to try the huge chocolate chip cookie. I also picked up some of the canned flavored cactus waters. The cookie was phenomenally and homemade. The cactus water flavors which I tried later in the day were very low sugar with great flavor as well. The location is shared in the same location as Sol Flower Dispensary, but in its own section like a co-op of sorts. I'd like to hope that wouldn't stop you from giving this place a try. There is a good amount of seating inside as well to hang out a bit and chat with friends. Shopping local is important and I know you're dying to eat that cookie! Don't forget to ask to join the loyalty program to earn points for rewards or pick up some merch also available inside. I'm already planning my next visit for yet another cold brew and to try one of those breakfast burritos I spied on the menu. (Gluten and vegan option)."

They both tasted great with their accompanied sauces, but I really have to express how much I absolutely could not get enough of those deliciously crisp sweet potatoes. It was unexpectedly on another level of yum! I already know I'll be craving those!As for the Entree, we opted to split the Thai BBQ Pork plate. It was cooked to perfection; nice and juicy! The Zen Sauce hit taste buds nicely. Let's just say the plate was spotless when we were through.I absolutely recommend this place, if ever you're in Downtown Phoenix. Hashi is a pretty simple restaurant, but it's very clean and quaint, and our server was extremely attentive.We started with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, garlic edamame, and seaweed salad. The garlic edamame was a game changer!! I loved the garlicky, soy sauce coating, and a nice change up from the standard lightly salted style I'm used to. I love seaweed salad, and the one here is held up to others I've had in the past. Refreshing with a nice crunch!We ordered so many rolls and we were all truly impressed from start to finish. I can't remember the names of all of them (my dad did the ordering) but some favorites include the Mr. Perfect, OMG, and tuna nigiri. All of the seafood tasted extremely fresh and the unique flavor combinations were perfect. Cannot recommend Hashi enough, I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Scottsdale!"

There are some great things for purchase such as jewelry, tea kettles and more. I love the rocking chairs out front and was greeted right when I came through the door. There was one person ahead of me and took only a few moments before it was my turn. Once I knew they offered heavy whipping cream I decided to try out their cold brew. I also added a ham breakfast sandwich . I pulled up a seat and had my drink in hand shortly after. My sandwich was brought to my table, great service. The cold brew was smooth, perfect cream amount and flavored well. I hate when it's more cream/milk than actual brew. They listened to exactly what I wanted. Food was ok, but not sure I'd order that same sandwich again. Great stop."

I normally get the regular one since that's already a lot of mango slices in one cup. They really pack it in too which is awesome and worth the price.They have a huge variety of choices of fruit snacks, drinks, and ice cream. They also have chips where they can put in like cheese and other type of things in it. This is like a typical Mexican store with Mexican music playing and it seems like most families come here with their children. It's definitely a place to check out if you like fruits, or Mexican Frescas, and ice cream. I don't mind standing out in a different environment when it comes to food haha."

Everybody loved them. I was surprised and delighted to see that they sell "day old" bakery items. Personally I don't love the onion and cilantro usually, and this place leaves all of that off so you can add the amount you prefer from the salsa bar, so I definitely loved that! I also got the blueberry lemonade drink which was SO sweet.. but it hit the spot for this Minnesotan adjusting to the desert climate.The rest of the group got the gamut of the menu and all agreed the food was good. Only downside we saw was that they seemed a little disorganized and their opening time was confusing. Google says one thing, website says another.. then they opened at a random time in between. We didn't mind and would more than likely stop through again while on another adventure!"

We ordered the XL Quesorizo, a LG chicken and bacon, 8 wings with lime pepper and honey hot, queso stix, and a Bavarian cream filled churro. The food is awesome and the employees were so nice!
