Dave's Place

First off lets be clear that this is a dive bar, but a good one. I have a gone a couple Friday nights and here have been the experiences so far.If you leave your stuff on a table, it might disappear. I lost a few things here which makes me overly cautious in this place where I may not be as much elsewhere. It is LOUD on Friday night. Do not take your humans that have issues with loud noise. The drinks are STRONG. The pricing is reasonable. Its not dirt cheap but you're also not looking at 8 dollar drinks. The karaoke host is great, very social and remembers patrons. The staff is generally on point, I do feel like I'm bothering them but I think its just because they're slammed. They do a good job though. There are other spots I've waited WAY longer for a drink. The entire place is well maintained, including the darts, pool tables and really all their stuff is in good condition. The patrons are generally pretty friends and its a good atmosphere. Great neighborhood spot. I'll be back.

Decided to swing by this place on a Sunday with a friend who lives near it. It was the first for both of us and we were just looking for a chill divey bar to hang out. Turns out, Dave's Place is not the place. Bartender was not very welcoming or friendly. Barely more than 6 patrons in the place (including us) so it didn't seem like she was being pulled in multiple directions or struggling. She was just apathetic, inattentive, and not really in the mood to be there. Got my friend's first drink order wrong. And when we ordered the 2nd round and politely asked for the actual drink she had originally ordered, the bartender didn't apologize or even acknowledge her mistake. Just not friendly and we never once felt comfortable or welcomed. If this happened to be an "off" night or atypical for them, then that sucks that we were there that night. Unfortunately, I have no desire to give this place a second chance for redemption.

This was an ok place for a quick drink. It's more of a townie dive bar. Being not from the area, nobody knew our name and it was obvious as soon as we entered. It was a single drink and dip out kind of place. Don't get me wrong. A Jack and coke was only $6 so good prices, just not my normal place

If I could give 0 stars I would. The ONLY reason why I come in is because this place happens to be in my area. Every single time I come in the bartenders are extremely rude. I don't even think I've seen them smile before. They really need to learn customer service and learn that kindness goes a long way. I've worked in the industry for years and just can't believe how these girls make money. Ive specifically seen Jess ignore female customers and hitting her vape behind the bar. I hope this comment reaches the right person to try to make a positive change in this bar.

If your looking for fun interactive people and great karaoke this is definitely your place. They also do random trivia and it wins you a free drink! Staff is awesome!

I've been to Dave's a few times and have questioned the total being charged to my card after the tip..well last night I finally caught them stealing extra tips off my card. My total was $12 plus a $3 tip should of totaled $15, well my card was charged $20! Will NEVER be returning to dishonest bartenders. They probably think no one will remember since they've been drinking but that is some fraud by the Friday night bartender and when I called to report it, the lady said there's no managers and I will just have to talk to said bartender on Monday. Sad you cant trust a business not to steal your money. I would give no stars if I could and will not be going here with my friends again.

Ok again 2 months later come back to see if they fired the same girls that I wrote a bad review again, same treatment but worse. I brought people here from out of town and everyone is completely appalled by the customer service and the way those girls treated not only us but everyone at the said the same thing, they have no Kooth and worst bartenders I have ever encountered. We will not be back until these entitled lil b*** are FIRED. I will spread the word like wildfire you will lose business. I'm gonna report this to BBB plus No star should be given, should be negative+

Stupid bartender fun game of pool don't come go to canes or something it's close by would think about coming back if the place burned down and didn't exist

Walked in a few nights ago, open seats at the bar for me and a friend. Sat down, bartender was talking to people we sat next to. Never looked at us,acknowledged us, nothing. After a few minutes with the bartender there ignoring us, we left. Didn't even get a goodbye lolWe both work in the industry. Mr Owner, hire some boobs and butts that actually give service, you may be surprised at how your business will grow! I work nearby, and won't in good conscience recommend your place, as it will reflect poorly on me and my business. Once again, hire some people that will build your business, not ruin it. That way, you make more money! See how that works?!

WORST BAR SERVICE IN MY LIFE !!! I showed up after a 19 mile drive last Saturday night ( 1/13/'24 ) to try out a new place to do some karaoke & have some drinks. After saying Hi to Brad, He provides the karaoke, I sat down at the bar to chill & order a beer. After a couple of minutes I realized they were really busy,so I continued to chill. After another few minutes one of the 2 bartenders was close to Me, so I said " Looks like You guys are extra busy tonite, huh ? "She looked at Me & said "What's it to You ?" I said, I don't know, I haven't been here for a long time, just wondering ... Just lookin' to get a beer."Then she said "Oh, yeah, really ? Well then I guess You can go down the street to get one, because Me ( ... and damnit I didn't catch her name ! ) & the other bartender are not going to serve You . !I couldn't believe it ! I hadn't done anything wrong & now I'm not getting served !?Here's the clincher. Then she said, " Why don't You just go ? Go !!! "Like a dog.Sorry Brad, NOT planning on returning to do karaoke or have drinks there unless that " bartender " is seriously disciplined or fired ... !!!
