"I needed a fix for my sweet tooth and noticed this bakery in the small strip of businesses just east of 18th Ave on Indian School. The location is spacious and very clean. The bakery cases featured some beautiful deserts in orderly cases. I picked up 2 slices of cake and some peanut butter cookies. The frosting on the cake slices was the whipped cream style but lighter and not as sweet as I have had from other places. This was a definite plus. The layer between the white cake layers was a luscious milk chocolate buttercream icing. The other slice featured chocolate cake with a layer of fresh strawberries and the same whipped cream used to frost the cake lightly strawberry flavored.The family running the shop were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. They are very proud of the hard work and love they put into their baked goods and small business. I look forward to stopping by and recommending this bakery which is way too close to home, which is why it earned a 5th star for convenience from me. We ate the cake before I could get a photo. But I included one of the peanut butter cookies."

"Absolutely loved high tea at Lilibet's. I made a reservation online several weeks in advance and Bev was quick to follow up, confirm, and make adjustments for us as needed. The atmosphere is beautiful, a perfect little tearoom, and I loved seeing the cakes being frosted in the back area. We each had the full tea, mine was gluten free. We tried the wedding, birthday, and Paris teas and I loved each of them but have to say, Paris was my favorite. The tea sandwiches were delicious- my favorite was the cucumber and cream cheese. The scones were SO good served with clotted cream, strawberry preserves and lemon- I loved the lemon. Last but not least were the deserts. The GF chocolate cupcake was phenomenal. It was rich and every bite melted in my mouth. I had to take home the rest of the treats but I know I'll find them to be just as delicious. We were never rushed and spent about 2 hours enjoying our tea and one another's company. We all really loved the tea service and will be back to enjoy again!"

My faithful Yelp app had just the answer to bring my happiness back; cupcakes. Upon entering the shop, masks are required. The minute that we entered the baker/employee was in the back of the house attending to cupcake business. She came through the door and greeted us in a most wonderful way. Let's just say that she made my day and my happy return. The hours posted on the door show that this bakery closes up at four pm. We wandered in around 3:30 pm. At the time the bakers display case was empty. Inquiring if she had anything ready we proceeded to move to where she kept already naked naked cupcakes. Having a choice of vanilla or chocolate; I went with two of each. Now here's where the magic happens. I needed a little piece of magic to make the afternoon splendid and magical. How do you make magic from cupcakes? Why turn those cupcakes into unicorns? The baker did not even question my request. We only ordered four, but the baker went to work to make those unicorn cupcakes epic. I let her choose the unicorn design and coloring; and could not of been happier.This cupcake shop does remarkable work from scratch. I was overjoyed by the work that she did in under ten minutes. The employees here observe the COVID rules. As she made the cupcakes gloves were worn. She even changed her gloves in between grabbing the cupcakes and taking them to be frosted in the back. I could not of been happier with these beautiful cupcakes.How does that cupcake taste? The icing was delicious and not too sweet. The cupcake part was soft and when eating the cake portion did not crumble in my hands. The balance of frosting to cake was reasonably. Let's celebrate life for a moment together. Take a few deep breaths, now exhale. Take that first lick from the unicorns ear. Then now let's bite into the cake and frosting together. Can you feel the magic taking ahold of you. Time for another cupcake, I'm needing some more magical decadence.Now that my happy button has been updated, it's time to wander and discover new memories. Needing that special set of cupcakes to celebrate or maybe a cake, give the staff here your business. Make sure for special items that you give plenty of notice. The pricing it fair here. The four cupcakes with their designs run me $13. Give creative will to the bakers or suggest your own theme for a cake or a few dozen cupcakes. Happiness begins however you can dream it. They provided the most gorgeous cake I have ever seen for my daughter's birthday in just a day and a half prior notice. Since we didn't have proper notice I took whatever flavors were available and I was not disappointed. We had a champagne flavored cake with strawberries and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every piece. We even gave some to our waitress and she gave some to her coworkers who all could not stop eating it and asked for the name and number of the cake shop which I happily provided. I was referred by a coworker who brought a very beautiful cake for a bridal shower we did for our manager. I would highly recommend going to Fleur De Lis for glamorous affordable cakes. I sent them pictures of what I wanted and made delivery arrangements over the phone. Very easy process. Christian gave me a heads-up before delivery and it was right on time! Friendly service and our coffees and baked goods were in our hands in no time. My lavender latte was delicious and the margarita macaroon won me over. The perfectly decorated sugar Patron cookie was good - I personally like a little almond added to sugar cookies for some additional flavor, but I get that not everyone does this. I will be stopping by again because they have so much to try you can't experience it in one visit."

Amber was able to make the dream cake of my 4 year old come true with a picture that we found in other places. We are originally from Florida and flew in Surprise to have our daughters birthday party with our Arizona Family. So for coordinating my parents and Amber took care of this for my daughter. My parents told me that Amber will do whatever she can to make this cake and provide the best flavors, but needed to be seen for taste testing. The communication between Amber and my family was great. My family showed up for the taste testing and flavors were being presented. Unfortunately I didn't take any picks of the inside of the cake nor the 5 flavors of cupcakes that we had for the party. The top tier was all for the birthday girl and was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling (tasted like Ferrero Rocher) and the bottom tier was red velvet cake with a whip cream filling. And we'll let her continue to think that. The truth is I didn't start planning until the day before her birthday. And every Yelp recommended bakery I called had a 48-hour minimum order cutoff. Thankfully the women with an accent that sounded like she came from the Baltic region was very willing to help me. When I picked up the cake, she wasn't there, unfortunately. I wanted to meet her. There was a man, who, after reading some of the negatives reviews on this place, did lack in the customer service arena a bit. Nothing terrible, but he didn't seem to enjoy what he was doing, which was nothing more than handing me a cake. I asked him if I could take a picture of him for my Yelp blog. He declined and added something about how he didn't like the negatives reviews on Yelp. I was about to launch into an explanation of how I'm leery of places with a 5-star rating, and that 4-stars was fantastic. But he seemed like he wanted to be left alone. Oh well. My thanks to the baker for helping me make my wife's birthday special."
