"My family has been coming to La Piñata for over 30 years, the food is absolutely incredible!!!!The Marylou, the cheese crisp, the red chili, the enchiladas, the Chile rellenos, I could go on and on!!!! Everything is made in-house and fresh and the consistency is off the charts, everything is just excellent!!!!! And then the margaritas taste like you're standing on the beaches of Mexico, so fresh and so tasty with agave and tequila and especially the frozen ones with the Chambord on top oh my gosh!!!!! Jose making margaritas is the greatest!!!My only complaint is the hours, the hours no longer feel accommodating for their customers, it's hard for my family as well as all of our friends to try to have dinner at La piñata now, as they close every night at 8:00! And that doesn't mean you can walk in at 7:45, they close at 8 o'clock sharp. We used to be very very frequent customers, as well as everyone else in our neighborhood but now we have to make a special plan to go to Piñata and all of the other nights we all go to Ajo Al's. It's such a bummer as two or three times a week we would get off work and stop in for drinks and dinner but now with closing at 8 o'clock, it leaves us trying to get off work and race home and pick up our family and try to get to La Piñata to sit down and have dinner as they close promptly at 8 o'clock. They've extended their hours until 9 o'clock on the weekends but it's beyond frustrating trying to have dinner or even pick up dinner without having an epic plan. They changed the hours during Covid and haven't gone back, I wish they would consider their customers and do 9 o'clock during the week and 10 o'clock on the weekends, like all of the other restaurants in Central Phoenix, it would make such a difference to your customers and a lot of people happy!!!!!! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to close early hours."
"Excellent!!! A much needed upgrade to the McDowell Mountain Golf Course restaurant. Such fantastic views and happy to now have fantastic food to match. Had the pizza , one of the best I've had in Scottsdale. Drinks were solid! Will definitely return."

"I've been to Firebirds before. As I pulled into the parking lot it was packed. It was definitely Happy Hour.I had a $10 off coupon and ordered there $39.95 three course menu.I ordered a Cesar salad (delish) and had the grilled sirloin with Parmesan mashed potatoes.I was stuffed and took my creme brulee cheesecake dessert home. All very good.My server Mason B. Was great.A very enjoyable meal"
"Highly recommend! Such a cute place with great service! Our server told us that they rotate their wine menu every month, so cool! The food was delicious, and the three wines were great! The flights are perfect, because they give you three 2oz pours. I cannot wait to go back!"
"A casual and chill wine right starting at Mingle + Graze with friends turned into hopping to four locations on a recent summer's Friday night in Downtown Chandler. This location was how we ended the night, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I felt like this location had a balance of music without being too loud where you can't hear your party. The service was friendly and quick to get drinks/refills. Additionally, the food items ordered were delicious and quick to come out of the kitchen. We only did starter items, so I can't weigh in on the food. Though, we did feel those food items were perfect accompaniments to drinks. Overall, it was definitely a location I would try again!"
"My favorite local restaurant! So happy to have a location in Gilbert after frequent the N. Scottsdale and Phx locations. Good, fresh, high quality seafood flown in daily in Arizona is not easy to come by! They have an awesome every day happy hour til 7 in the bar/sushi bar and outdoor bar areas with $10 signature cocktails and full appetizers available in the normal menu. Please be aware they don't take reservations for happy nor is it available in the main restaurant. Service has always been subpar and the vibes are right! Revolving oysters flown in daily- how can you go wrong?!Some reccomendations see photos - Ace in The Hole Cocktail (on HH)- Hamachi Crudo- Trofie Pasta- Spicy Salmon Tartare (hh)- JT's Broilers- Oysters (obviously!! on hh) - Shrimp Ceviche (hh)"
"I was hooked on the first bite! Hubs and I had other plans for dinner, but when we saw Shimogamo we decided to change our plans and try out Shimogamo instead. So glad we did! We later found out that it was their soft opening week. The space is clean, modern, and minimalistic. It's open concept and you can watch the chefs at work. The bar half indoor, half outdoor.Reservations are recommended, but they did not turn us away. They said the wait would be 20-30 minutes and we could grab a drink at the bar. We went up to the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered the matcha hai and my husband requested a mocktail. He told the bartender to surprise him and he came up with a tasty one with ramen! The matcha hai comes with green tea, rice shochu, and lemon juice. It was quite refreshing. We were seated at the bar shortly after getting our drinks. We ordered the following:Fried shishito peppers $12Miso soup $5O-toro $22Dillish tuna roll $20Hamachi lime roll $20Saikyo miso pudding $8We started with fried shishito peppers, miso soup, and the o-toro. The o-toro is the fattiest tuna belly was my favorite from the night. It melted in my mouth. The dillish tuna roll and hamachi lime roll were also stellar. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We ended the meal with saikyo miso pudding, which has saikyo miso, custard, kokuto syrup, and miso powder. It was incredible. The staff was wonderful. They have some kinks to work out, but given it was only their first few weeks of opening, they did great. We are looking forward to returning soon!"
"Drunken Tiger in Mesa is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some great food and drinks! The happy hour deals were absolutely amazing--excellent prices and a good variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends. The staff are attentive and friendly, ensuring a wonderful experience every time. Highly recommend stopping by for happy hour and beyond!"
"My partner brought me to Platform 18 for my birthday at my request. I had been wanting to come here since it had first opened and I saw the train car driving through the mountains of Colorado. I was so excited when she sent me a screenshot of the reservation confirmation.I will give you a little advice, arrive early like it tells you to. We arrived right at our schedule departure time and we were the last to be seated. While the experience was still neat, our seats lacked any of the ambiance I was looking for, again our fault that we didn't arrive early. We were seated at the bar, right next to the Service Bar so there was so much going on it just wasn't what I had envisioned. The train was set to a 1950a prohibition era set in NYC. The bartender was very nice and explained the menu to us. We ordered the little side of snacks and it was perfect. We ended the train ride with the boozy ice cream. It was so delicious, you could hardly taste the cognac in the mint chocolate chip ice cream! I highly recommend checking out Platform at Century Grand but I also recommend arriving early!"
"This is my new favourite bar. I want to be a regular here, which is not something I often say. There are so many places to try in Phoenix that it's hard for me to sit down and say "this is the One." But I'm committing. Drinks: I've tried 99% of the cocktails and I haven't gone broke. I think that basically sums up why I love this bar. The cocktails are unique, tasty, and inexpensive. The frozen strawberry chili margarita is on point. Ambiance: this used to be (still is?) one of the divier establishments, but from what I can tell, it's gotten a nice update, but kept the cozy laidback feel. I never know what time it is because it's so dark. Service: superb! The bartenders are the bomb. They're all super friendly and helpful. They want you to enjoy what you're drinking."
"This place is literally an aesthetic and such a vibe! I was visiting Scottsdale so you know I had to try out another rooftop bar. My friend heard about this place so we made reservations a day or two before and super glad we did! It's inside a hotel located on the fourth floor. We were seated outside and the view was literally so gorgeous! Drinks were good and our waiter was so nice and kind! We tried the hummus, I can't remember which one but I know they were all raved about. I tried the bacon flatbread with melted cheese and it was so good! My friend got a house salad and it was fine. Outside there's a bar you can walk to and hang out with friends if you want alongside with some tables you can reserve. I really recommend trying this place out!"

This is a double dose review, as we ate at La Piñata TWICE during our recent Phoenix vacation. This almost never happens, as we go into a trip with a long list of places to try. But we ate at La Piñata the first night and loved it so much we returned on the last. And we'll return when we visit next time, probably twice as well! The space is nice, but nothing fancy. It's a step above any Mexican restaurants we have at home, but only marginally when it comes to ambiance. It's not a fancy 'small portion high price' place but rather a great local option with hearty portions, nice clean restaurant, and good service all for the right price. The chips and salsa are included (hate when they add those to the appetizer menu) and the salsa was very good. We also added a 'crisp' which is basically a 12" tortilla covered in cheese. It was good - kind of like Mexican pizza. They were obviously popular because pretty much every table had one and they were being carried out nonstop by the delivery/doordash types. Both trips I had the same thing - Machaca Chimichanga. It's a specialty of theirs, and it was amazing. Perfect level of crispness, great shredded beef at the appropriate spice level. Beans were amazing, and rice was rice. I tried to switch it up on the second night but it was so good on N1 that I had to just get it again.Wife did the flautas on the first night (loved them) and the Chicken Suiza on the second. She preferred the flautas and honestly I can't remember what the second night was like other than she enjoyed it and said she'd get it again. Son was delighted on night one with his chicken quesadilla - loved it, and that's for a guy who isn't always happy when we get Mexican food. He thinks we go to too many Mexican restaurants. He isn't wrong, but I'm never changing. On night two he had the chorizo egg burro and liked it but said it was a bit spicy for him. He wouldn't order it again, and didn't finish it. He really wishes he had done the Quesadilla again or ordered another type of burro. Over our seven day visit, La Piñata earned 'favorite restaurant' honors from everyone for this vacation in the dinner category. It's a sure thing for anyone who enjoys Mexican food.

Beautiful scenery. As far as food- Brussels sprouts were good and pizza was good. Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. A happy hour sitting outside with the view would be ideal.

I am rating Moto Moto a five with an explanation. I was walking by headed to another restaurant. I thought, hey, if they're open for lunch I'd like to try sushi in Phoenix. I usually am interested, when I am someplace out of the ordinary for me, in sampling what is local. Before reliable overnight delivery, I would not consider fish, much less raw, in the desert. I figured no matter what I would have something to say here. That was sufficient reason to give it a try.One staff person was functioning as server and cashier. That was it. I was there early, before any rush. But it likely would not be easy for her once it gets going. I studied the menu. They feature lunch specials with add ons. Among them was "assorted sashimi." The picture showed only salmon. I inquired whether it was in fact assorted (like chirashi; I didn't use the term though). I was assured about variety. So I picked that. When it came, however, it was all salmon. As much as I like it, that was not what I was looking for. I noted it, trying not to sound like a privileged jerk complaining about what isn't such a big deal. The number of slices was not overwhelming either. I didn't mention that. Instead, I supplemented. I requested the vegetable tempura, which was specifically named: shishito and pumpkin (they also offer shrimp, which is just that). So why would I award five stars? The food exceeded expectations. The salmon was fresh. So much that is on offer is not. Sushi has been ruined by its popularity. Some that is available has no taste whatsoever. The rice also had been prepared by someone who got it right, fluffy. The staple is easy to make, not as easy to make well. The tempura batter was perfect. It was light. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. They were not someone who otherwise would be working at a fast food chain, trained in corporate routine likely to be automated any moment. Although I did not try it, I was impressed: they listed takoyaki on the menu too. That is an indication the chef knows the cuisine; s/he is not someone simply making a buck or who could cooking just anywhere (even if they ordered it frozen, you don't push takoyaki if you aren't familiar with it).The single staff person also was apologetic about the salmon being the only protein in the bowl. She said they had changed the menu. Forgiveness is a virtue. There is much else in the world that is worse. There is enough misery around us, especially on the internet. I'd rather look to what there is to praise. In this case, I can say that, with the description here, you should have the information to make your own judgment.Addendum. Takoyaki are an Osaka specialty of octopus diced and molded with ginger, onion, and flour into balls which is prepared in a griddle with that singular purpose. When my wife's family brought my late father-in-law's ashes to rural Japan to be scattered, we met relatives who offered us the treat. I was not enthusiastic enough. I regret that.

Outstanding food and service, Firebird's got a relaxing atmosphere with what I'd consider an eclectic menu; a good example is the philly cheesesteak egg rolls. It sounded interesting, so we had to try it out, and it was worth the gamble--it's a unique appetizer, and I don't know who came up with this cultural mash-up, but we thought it worked. My wife had the filet mignon and tempura lobstah (had to throw in "lobstah" from Spenser Confidential: https://youtu.be/yHIWQoYx1dM?si=0A-3p1CzUfmhzZ2Y), and I went with the parmesan crusted chicken. Excellent entrees that are well worth coming back for. Our server was polite and attentive considering how busy it was, and the wait times for the food was minimal. The servings were more than generous, and we had to bring our leftovers home...but I couldn't pass up the 5 layer lemon cake with fresh blue berries.Geez, I ate too much and had no regrets doing so, I will say that it's places like this that motivate me to wake up really early and run in our godawful heat just so I can eat great food guilt-free.I highly recommend Firebirds, and we'll definitely be paying this establishment another visit.

Bottom line. This place is awesome, give it a visit and you will not be disappointed. ----Now to the actual "review." My dad is a picky eater and he complains a lot about everything. I'm visiting (after living here for over a quarter of a century) and had to find a place that would satisfy the palette of a very judgmental man. Anyway, Turquoise Wine Cellar delivered far and beyond. The moment we walked in, it was amazing customer service and greetings. We ordered food and drink and just enjoyed the ambience. The Smoked Salmon is what won my dad over. He loved it. The naan bread and then the veggies with the spread were the perfect combination. This place is a hidden spot and worth the visit so don't miss out. The wine selections are fantastic and complimented with the best food options!

I've been here a few times and the food and drinks are on point. Good variety on the menu and lots of fun drink choices. Prices are high but for the area they are comparable Service is always excellent. I had the Al Pastor quesadilla and it was sweet and savory and delicious. This place is good for a bigger party or a small group of friends. During the cooler parts of the year, the back patio has character and a is a fun place to hang.

We just did a walk in for brunch around 10:30 this morning. Second visit to this restaurant. First one was good too. Everyone there is just so nice and the restaurant is lovely and just smells like fresh food which my body was needing. We had the fantastic ceviche with extra tortilla crisps and it really is like my most favorite thing on the planet! Then the soft shell crab sushi roll was seasonal and DELICIOUS hubby wanted a trough of the sauce it was served on. And last the crab cake with grilled asparagus on a stone ground mustardy sauce ( sauce so good I asked for more to go!). The crab cake is so dense and one easily was shared between us. But best of all was our adorable server Alex. She's just a little ball of happiness and chatted with us about the food and the area. Great service -so quick and she just made it over the top! Definitely will be back.

They had quite a few customers inside. Despite that, the noise levels were fine today. I could hear my companion and vice versa. No music playing, which is best because it sometimes contributes to poor noise levels. We had the double salmon roll with spicy salmon / salmon / asparagus / cucumber / green onion / salted green onion sauce. I didn't think it tasted spicy. It did feel oily since they must have used oil in the salted green onion sauce. Otherwise, I thought it tasted pretty delicious. The hamachi lime roll with yellowtail / spicy tuna / cucumber / spicy mayo / shichimi lime / serrano / chives sounded good but we didn't get it this time. We also got the shimogamo curry with the japanese curry / steamed white rice / pork katsu. They also had the option of choice of chicken katsu. The pork was a little pink but moist. It was also nicely crispy in the outside but not burnt. The batter was not heavy but light. I like the light batter. It also included cut red onion slivers and pickled red radish. The sauce itself was a little spicy. I liked it. The chicken bowl also looked good with jidori thigh / spinach / red onion / red ginger / sweet soy / steamed white rice. We may have to try it some other time. They were out of the yuzu shio ramen with chicken broth / soy egg / chicken chashu / menma. I heard the spicy beef udon noodle soup with serrano chili beef miso / wakame / green onion / chili thread is good. I also heard the big and spicy roll with spicy salmon / escolar / cucumber / onion sauce / soy jalapeño / sriracha is good. The chirashi and udon carbonara were also recommended. Some dishes are only available during dinner like snow crab sunonomo. The hand rolls were small and really cute like teeny tiny one inch by two inch tacos. So adorable!Service was great. Water was refilled a couple of times and the food came out quickly. The staff was polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
Visit Restaurant Page"Wow, what a night! The food was beyond excellent. They take such care into crafting these recipes. I got to talk with Chef Evan of the stories behind how some of them came together and they really do put the love into them! The Patatas Bravas were excellent, great crunch on the outside and so soft inside! The Iberico Pork...OMG it's a special type of pork, raised on acorns alone and strict guidelines to be true Iberico. The sauce they bring to it...so good!Garlic Chili Shrimp was perfect, the chili sauce they make in house is just to die for. Don't forget to mop it up with your bread! So good that I'll be back on Sunday for their shrimp broil!!!"
"Another yelper that I follow that goes to cool AF places wrote a review for this place, so I bookmarked it to give it a try.Last night, I came in here with a friend for HH, and we loved this place!HH starts at 3 pm, and this place gets pretty packed even by 4:30pm, wowsers!I was able to snag two seats at the bar, but if you show up later, there won't be any more seats. Bar is square shaped and very inviting, and the bartenders are nice and helpful!Decor is really cool in here with lots of red themed lighting, big hanging lights shaped like red flowers is what it reminds me of. Cool art on the wall with creative twists on famous paintings like the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.HH specials are great with $3 pizza slices, $8 cocktails and small plates and $3 beers. Pizza was legit, I'm from NYC, so the bar is a little bit higher for me, but this pizza slice hit the spot.My friend got the Olympus salad and said it was great! The Mexican Pankiller ($8) was delicious and my Franciskaner beer solid as per usual. My only gripe about this place is the parking, but you can find parking on the street once their lot is full. Excellent HH spot, love this place, will be back!"
"Ocean Blue is the place to go for authentic Jamaican food. The brown stew chicken was full of flavor. The portions are generous. The wait staff was really attentive. Overall a great experience."
"We had their Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini and the Blackberry Mojito which we both liked. The first Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini they made me was not very good but they were nice enough to give me a second one which was much better. We also tried the Fried Guacamole which has onion rings, pico de gallo, and jalapeno poppers - we liked this one.Heard they had Sweet Potato Cheesecake so had to have that, it was very good! Highlight was definitely this."
"A classy cocktail bar with a chill vibe and serious cocktails served in a very friendly environment. The dim lighting and the spiffy cocktails will set the perfect mood to unwind on a Friday night. They have a wide variety of Modern Cocktails served while listening to some easy vibing hip hop and rap in the background! If you want to enjoy some quiet nice "me time", this place is nicely setup to transport you into that zone!Would definitely recommend to come over and enjoy some eclectic selection of cocktails. Cheers!"
"I had the day off and decided to meet up with some friends for brunch with my little one! This restaurant is located in the back of the mall, near Nobu and Francine. They have such a nice patio area, which would be great for the cooler months. Inside, there were plenty of seating options. They gave our table a high chair and took our order. We had really great service for our meal and she was very attentive.I ordered the crispy eggs with prosciutto, which came with bread and a bed of arugula. This was really good, and I feel like a pretty good value for prosciutto ($18.) I also ordered their gluten-free blueberry banana bread for my son. It was nice that the bread was not overly sweet, as most banana breads can be.This was a nice location for our little catch-up, and we would love to come again to enjoy their outdoor seating."
"Extremely slow service. There was only one server for a large restaurant. Don't come here for breakfast if you have somewhere to be. The food was good and the prices are a bit steep, but typical for a hotel. We just didn't have an hour and a half for breakfast before meetings."
"The best craft cocktail bar that I've been to in Scottsdale in quite a while. The ambiance, employees ( Lily and Jett bartenders) and drinks are exceptional. If you like bourbon then go with the Down Comforter with Smoke Wagon Bourbon | Amaro Lucano Anniversario Pistachio Orgeat | Australian Coffee Bitters...... amazing!"
"Forget coffee , let's talk about cocktails baby. They've got a full bar!! Let's cover some basics : 1. EVERY DRINK IVE EVER ORDERED IS PHENOMENAL! 2. Bartend David is a creative genius when it comes to creating cocktails. He's hand crafted several for us, they're OuT oF tHiS WoRlD! My personal fav: best Espresso Martini EVER!!3. Bar service is 5/5, David's service is outstanding, he seeks to find out what you like, and will craft a cocktail around that. That's a rare talent. BONUS: The tasty popcorn w garnish at the bar. 4. The drink prices are on point! Value intersects with quality. Want beer? No prob, they've got a great craft beer selection! The only bummer is the recent hour change : closing at 5:30PM. There's great potential for longer bar hours. Provisions is open and airy, yet intimate at the same time. Parking is more than adequate, and easy peasy. This is the type of high quality bar this area needs, and wants."
"You really can't beat the feeling of escaping reality as you pull up and walk into the Royal Palms Resort. I've been a regular visitor through the years, dating back well before the renovation just over a year ago, and my husband was more of a regular for years before me!The Mix Up Bar definitely mixed things up from their PR (pre-renovation) days. I've been several times since and I still really enjoy the atmosphere and friendly service... I'm not going to lie; it's not exactly like the good ol' days though! What's consistent is the people-watching, attentive service, live music on many nights, solid cocktails, beer and wine to choose from. There is also a certain je ne sais quoi about this place... it's definitely a gem!The food menu isn't as impressive as it used to be... I miss the lobster bisque and paella! I am pretty sure they still have the amazing bread with pesto, and you can't go wrong with that, but not a ton of other items appealed to me. On a recent visit, we shared a charcuterie plate, a side of brussels sprouts, and a cauliflower soup. I wouldn't get the soup again, but the other items weren't bad!Eric who runs the bar now is easy to chat with and does a great job... no doubt we'll be back soon, even without some of my old time favorite menu items!"
"Not bad, not great. It was okay.Got this one delivered for dindin. Loved that the menu is not complicated which makes it easy to choose.Got kid's spaghetti and meatballs, the portion was a small considering something so simple like spaghettiLasagna leaned a little salty and the pasta a little too thick, I still finished it! Just drank more red wine with it. LOLBruschetta I say maybe pass, the fig was waaay off balance, and too sweet. And the vegetable one needed maybe a little balsamic glaze because it ate dry.Italian Farm salad with chicken for additional $ was a little disappointing the chicken was flat stringy pieces, and was drryyyyyyyyy as the AZ weather. I cried a little inside. The Nutella Pizza saved our night that was delish. OK I also have to give all the stars to service, I forgot to check "utensils" when ordering in the app, I called apprehensively asked if there was a way they can add it in our order and they were so nice about it. WIN!"
"I'm all about some Tequila & Mezcal so being able to pop in here without a major line or wait was a blessing. Usually, it's a wait to get inside and then another wait for cocktails (which I don't mind). Luckily we were able to get drinks quickly from the bar, and the timing after 2 rounds worked out as we grabbed some seating towards the side for a few more rounds. I rep for the "season" crew & I never feel like that old man in the spot... Mainly because all the people I meet that night earlier at different places came through and we kept celebrating round after round... And you thought you could outdrink me JR!!! hahaI was dialed in that night on various margaritas so fitting to have the Stealth & Mushroom Margarita... Still a fan of the Burro Tropical... not a fan of the bathroom wait!!!"
"This is the ultimate experience. I normally don't care for fast food. This should not be compared. Here the ingredients are so fresh and quality is high. My favorite items are birria tacos and horchata to drink. The tacos are tender and juicy! Man I am getting hungry just thinking about this place. Try the fries if you have a large group. Please check out my photos."
"Visited multiple times! Happy hour is a must visit time! Great specials on beer, wine, and food- the staff has always been friendly, welcoming and great service! Food menu is good if you know their menu - not bar food or small snacks - but the food is great! Most recently had the Burrata and it was delish! Good to share over drinks!"
"Fun place if you want to play some games and eat/drink with friends....Parking - there are open paid lots and meters around the area. I ended up parking at a meter that wasn't too expensive, it's free after 10. A few friends and I went here on a Saturday night for my friend's bday. Pinball machines and pool tables ($10 per hour) are first come first serve. We did the duck pink bowling, I recommend making ressies online for that. It is just smaller pins with a smaller ball and shorter lanes, still fun! It is more expensive at $20 per hour for an online ressie vs $15 for walk in, but it gets busy on the weekend so it's nice to not have to wait. There are 3 lanes for ressies and 3 lanes for walk ins. You can eat and drink at the lanes if you don't want to pay the extra $12 to reserve a table online for their "Hollywood" booth that is off to the side. I just don't like how you have to reserve it online instead of over the phone. For free. Lols We just ate at the lanes which I think is better. One of our friends was late so our server was so nice to offer we wait with our food at the Hollywood booth until our friend came. Free of charge. Otherwise it would have cut into our hour reservation with the bowling! My friends said the bulgigi beef nachos and Beijing pork roll were pretty good. I didn't eat it since I hate cilantro and it's full of it. I had the yummy sweet potato waffle fries, popcorn chicken with honey butter five spice and curry fries, delicious! I recommend, great snacks for bowling. My friends ordered some foo foo drinks but I don't remember the names. They said they were ok but the shriveled, droopy, spotted brown basil used for a garnish was funny. I recommend Cham Pang skipping that bc it just makes the presentation look sad. Hehe Overall a good time! Service and servers were great. Food was good, bowing was fun. I'd def go again..."
"What a beautiful restaurant. Inside and out. We were greeted by a very nice hostess and our waiter came to the table in a timely manner and had a good sense of humor. I ordered tacos - they were kind enough to make me Tinga Chicken Tacos (they do not have those on the menu) The black beans were delicious! I want to go backJust for those My friend ordered the Mac and cheese and loved it We will be back soon."
"We chose this spot last minute to celebrate my friend's birthday and we are so glad we did as we were in town for basketball. The ambiance is nice and the decor is great. The drinks were delicious and so was the seafood. The only disappointment were the fries. They definitely reminded us of frozen fries and they are way too expensive. The entertainment was also nice for a change. They did a great job with the music and coordinating it with singing happy birthday. We danced every time they played it."
"Tried Kay Sushi today, super convenient to where I live. It has a lovely outdoor patio with water fountain and bamboo, so pretty. Inside the decor is nice, different shades of green walls and one unobtrusive Tv, which is nice . Some places have so many tvs and the sound is so loud, but at Kay Sushi only my and the sound is muted.. They have a nice variety of rolls and a pretty extensive menu. A nice touch, they serve water with a side of lemons in a small wooden box, little details like this are so nice. I ordered the cucumbers and they weee deckuckus, cold and crunchy. My lunch date ordered got miso soup with his order and it was served which kept the soup piping hot, it also had sliced mushrooms along with the seaweed. We ordered a variety's of rolls and they were quite good. The staff is really nice and attentive. The dress I wore was a slippery materiel and my napkin on my lap slipped onto the floor, the server noticed this and quickly brought me a new napkins. So thoughtful and I didn't even ask for one. I will definitely be back and it's literally less than a mile from home!!"
"Views views views!!! If u're looking for a chic vibe restaurant bar with gorgeous views, u found it!!! Jade Bar is a gem! I've only had a couple of appetizers here, and I can't say that they were fabulous, as I ordered some pretty plain Jane stuff. The Housemade chips and onion dip, as well as the Vegetable crudite were ok. I wished the dips for both those appetizers had more flavor and kick to them, but, knowing that I ordered some pretty unflavorful dishes, I'll quit my whining. On the other hand, the cocktail was divine! The Lost Dutchman was so tasty & refreshing!! Don't be shy! U can totally eat the flowers that are elegantly decorated in ur cocktail!! Service was great! Our server came by to check on us just the right amount of times!! Price is on the high side, but u're paying for the stunning views as well as u're in paradise valley!!! Go ahead and splurge!!!"
"After going to dinner with my team at work, I brought my husband and my mom to check out this spot. The food was incredible. Every dish that came out was better than the last. Between the two times I was there, the coconut shrimp, charred romaine salad, pork fried rice, Bahn Mi tacos, French Dip... everything was extremely flavorful and fresh tasting. The service was great. When they realized they hadn't brought water to us for some time after seating us, they took care of our first round. I will definitely be back to try more!"
"We have been craving some Italian and happened into this local little gem- it looks kinda lackluster on the exterior (honestly, we almost passed it up thinking it was closed-but, someone came out) Once inside it's a darling atmosphere that makes you feel sophisticated & cozy at the same time!! Brian our fantastic server hand made a strawberry lemonade for me from scratch because he didn't want to serve the premade stuff while he wasn't busy!! That's cool- and it was Fabulous!!!He recommended the clam linguine, I have always wanted to try it and he said it wouldn't disappoint- it didn't!! Delicious broth with the pasta, clams were flavorful no sand!! Under notes of lemon but not too much- Wow!! Hubby had wood fired pizza- I can't recall what flavor. He forgot to mention no onions and it had quite a few that was his bad...he still enjoyed it and we definitely thought nicely prepared. We will definitely revisit and I will ask for some bread to soak up that broth next time....so yummy!! Well done Parma & Brian for the great time!!"
"This is the only one site restaurant and bar at Canopy Hiton old town Scottsdale. They serve breakfast and dinner, also happy hour daily but no lunch. We had a couple drinks at the bar and the cocktails were very good. Our bartender was a sweetheart and very friendly. The breakfast was just OK, food tasted pretty bland but portions were huge. I appreciated the gluten free toasts! The coffee bar was great for grab and go coffee drinks to start the day! As far as hotel restaurant goes, this one was pretty decent!"
"Pretty good spot to chill. It's a cute place. They have happy hour 3 to 6. We got the charcuterie board. It was good. Also my friends got the margarita pizza. That was good I got the mozzarella, prosciutto and apple bruschetta. It was okay."
