China Red Cafe

We were very pleased with China Red Cafe. It's hard to find good Chinese food on the west side of town. They do a tremendous take out business. We decided to eat at the restaurant. The family who helped us were such wonderful people and made sure we were taken care of.I did love that each table had forks, spoons,chopsticks, napkins, and soy sauce at the ready. We started with crab puffs. They were your standard puffs. If you do order the dinner combo, you will get one with that meal. We then each ordered dinner combos. I had Orange Chicken and my husband got Cashew Chicken. Let me tell you,BE PREPARED FOR A LARGE SERVING! One meal could feed 2-3 people. So be ready for left overs! My orange chicken was really good. I always strive to find the chicken cooked this certain way, thinner chicken pieces with a nice breading. The sauce was nice and sweet and not over-powering. I checked online and for your sides, you can do just rice or chow mein but you have the option to split it. I got chow mein and fried rice. Next time I may just do chow mein since it will make delicious left overs.The cashew chicken was fine but I know we prefer more of a brown sauce, but everything was so fresh. Love having crunchy veggies!The egg drop soup included with the combo was really nice. Again, fresh carrots and celery gave it such a nice taste.Finally, the spring roll was crunchy and so hot. I was amazed it stayed warm the whole time I had it. Very fresh! We will be back with a new game plan, just so we don't waste food. Very happy!

my parents ordered takeout from here for the first time for the whole family. i had no idea this place was right around the corner and i wish we'd stumbled upon it sooner! the food arrived piping hot, and the portions were HUGE to boot. if you're ordering solo or eating with some friends, make sure to bring your appetite. my only downside with my meal was that the fried rice was a bit bland, but this was easily remedied with some soy sauce. i still managed to have some leftovers for the next day after having the takeout for dinner, which is always a plus!

Another new place for me. Small place with limited seating. Seemed like most people were ordering takeout from here. In fact we were the only dine in customers there. Food came out pretty quickly and was nice and hot. The beef and chicken chow mein were good. The beef broccoli and orange chicken were good also. The jalapeño chicken had way too many onions for me but tasted good. The only thing that was bad was they didn't have any fountain drinks, only cans. They did offer ice water which tasted ok. Overall I liked this place. The food was good and the service was fast. I would have given it all 5 stars if they served fountain drinks.

Nice little place in a shopping plaza. The menu is vast so there are plenty of options. The staff were all very friendly. I shared a dinner combo with my husband. The portions are huge. The orange chicken was very crispy, it was so good. Will definitely be back.

I'm in loooove with spicy tofu! Is so crispy and flavorful? The cashiers are always nice and helpful, thank you for my food!

Awesome service and excellent food. We will be back for sure. Very fast and efficient service. Only down side is the little kid plastic utensils.

Amazing good we've never gone to the restaurant but ordering out for pickup or delivery has never gone wrong! We always end up with leftovers and the food is great even reheated. Plenty of food to share.

I love this restaurant, the staff is extremely nice and the food is great. They are the only restaurant in Arizona that can salt and spicy chicken the correct way. They will always have my business.

Always our go to for Chinese! You get so much food for a great price. I get one combo for me and my two boys to share we always have leftovers. The food has never let me down. Consistency is key here and they have it for sure!!

They call themselves a Cafe but it's really set up for pick up and delivery. The utensils on the tables were cheapo plastic. I ordered 3 different lunch specials and they were each forgettable. The "fried rice" that came with the meals was barely edible. A very poor representation of Chinese food. I won't be returning.
