"My hubby knows I love me some Mexican sushi. It's not healthy but boy is it scrumptious. I was a little disappointed on the service. Our food came out one plate at a time and their were five of us. Then when I asked the waitress for a mango margarita she told me they had no ice. I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt and ordered a sangria incase she didn't have ice. But my hubby did put her on the spot when she brought his michelada with ice in it. Then she scurried back and made my margarita. I was dumb founded and didn't apologized then handed me the margarita. We ordered a chowmein mixed with shrimp and chicken, buffalo chicken wings with fries, two ceviche tostada's and I ordered my favorite guamuchilito sushi. Along with jarritos and sprite. I give it four stars because the food was delicious and I hope to return on another visit to phoenix."

"So we decided to give this place a shot. They are socially distancing and require mask. We ordered 50 wings. Half honey hot and half mild. Mild were flavorful, honey hot were gross, they tasted as if they were soaked in honey. No heat whatsoever. What we really could not get over was the size of the wings. Super little! The staff was friendly and prices are cheap but you get what you pay for... most likely won't make a trip back."

"My husband and I love frybread and we've been to many in the valley but are on the hunt to try more! We checked JJs out tonight and we were both happy with our experience! This is definitely a small hole in the wall type place. The lady working there was incredibly nice and helpful to us! My husband got plain frybread with cheese on it and I got a vegetarian Navajo taco. I loved all the toppings on my taco and the frybread was incredibly fresh and fluffy. We also got fries and churros. The fries were good but had some sort of orange powder on them? I dipped them in the chipotle sauce they had which was good. I think the powder may have been a cheese powder. The churros were yummy, we got chocolate to dip them in and they were filled with cream. Our total was not outrageous for the amount of food we got. Glad we checked it out!"

I order a three piece chicken tender with a Diet Pepsi. We eat in so I look for a table that says we can sit as some are closed due to Covid. I get to a clean table and we sit down. Spoiler alert no photos even though I have been Yelping for over five years when it comes to food and I am hungry I tend to dig in immediately and say after OMG forgot to take the picture. Note they must have liked me as they gave me four pieces instead of three. So gave it to hubby when we picked him up a golf. The food at this location is served fresh hot and delicious. Everything is upon request including sauces for the tacos and napkins."

So this stuff not being deep fried intrigued me. There's some sort of voodoo hoodoo magic because this sandwich is texturally crunchy yet juicy at the same time. I had worries that it would taste like some shake and bake nonsense from a sad trip to the grocery store as a child but much to my pleasant surprise...it tastes delicious. Also...the sandwich is pretty large. So that's a plus. Seating is uncomfortable though. If you have even the slightest degree of claustrophobia, get yours for takeout. You will be jammed in here like a Spirit airlines flight. Come for the chicken. It's mothercluckin tasty."

So we went with HOT, an equivalent to a classic Buffalo wing, Chef Special, Lemon Pepper, and SPICY ATL. If you can't handle spicy, stay away from SPICY ATL. Its super hot but so good! The place is casual. You order at the counter and then sit at a table and wait for your order. There are plenty of tables throughout to choose from. The wings were good, meaty, and juicy. Everyone there was nice and helpful (even the patrons). We ordered a large sausage pizza. Just cheese, sausage, and sauce for takeout. When we got home, the pizza was still hot, and the crust was still crispy. Definitely a plus with takeout pizza. One thing I also noticed is that they dont skimp on toppings. You may pay a little more for pizza there, but they do load it up. The pizza was fantastic. Our whole family enjoyed it. The large sausage chunks were a huge hit, and the flavors were all there. This pizza hit, and is currently in our top 2 best pizza places in Surprise. You now have new regulars. Let me tell you a bit about Desiree: She is the type of person that makes you feel like you've been lifelong friends within a few minutes. I'm serious...by the time I finished ordering my food, I was hoping to get invited to the next cookout! (And her friendly personality was the same with everyone in the restaurant. So welcoming and positive!)But let me swerve back...While ordering, I made my intentions clear to Desiree:"It's my first time here and I want to try a little bit of everything... what'dya suggest?"She walked me through the menu and offered all sorts of helpful/yummy recommendations, which I gladly accepted...(you know, since we're such close friends and all). I went with the "Momma's Pick 4 Mix & Match Meal" which came with 4 meats and a side. (Yup, I said I wanted to try a little of everything, so here we are.) I also ordered extra sides just to really solidify the "everything" statement.The food came out in about 25 minutes and it was all delicious! As expected (and planned), I did not finish nearly half of my food but was happy to take it home for later. I got the #2 - $11.49 for a serious slice and six wings. I got sausage on my pizza and my wings with Joe's sauce and blue cheese dip. I also ordered some bacon ranch fries with jalapeños because why not? While I gotta be honest and say the fries weren't worth the price tag (and that $1 for jalapeños will only get you a few rings), the pizza and wings here are good! Those wings will have you going back for more. As a flats lover, I'm not mad about having five flats out of six but you drums lovers might be sad. As for the pizza, yummo! It's not fancy or artisan but you know what you're getting. Sometimes a nice NY slice is all you want and that is a-okay with me!The guy running the counter, Joey, is amazing.
