"Ms Martha's Caribbean Restaurant is located in Phoenix. It's a very casual restaurant where you order at the counter. They do have a few tables inside and a few outside for when the weather is nice. They don't offer the Caribbean fish dishes but do offer the chicken dishes that you expect and also offer a special of the day so be sure to ask about the special. We tried a variety of things and everything was good and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection with perfect falling off the bone chicken (brown stew chicken & jerk chicken) Portions were large too. The special today was macaroni and cheese. The pasta was soft but it was cheesier than from most places.Ms Martha was cooking and her helper were both friendly and helpful!"

"Originally wasn't sure what to expect because the restaurant isn't in the best part of town. With that being said, the inside of the restaurant is very nice and clean! There is plenty of parking in the little plaza. The food and service were both amazing! I ordered my favorite of all time Jamaican dish: stew chicken. I did not disappoint. I love that you get to pick 2 sides and there is a variety to choose from. They are opening a spot closer to my house in Laveen and I cannot wait!"

"In our quest to find great Mexican food we stopped here and found it.I had the Machaca and eggs plate. The meat was very tender and flavorful and the eggs not too dry. The beans were fantastic, just how I like them and the rice good as well.My wife had the Cocido and she said it's authenticity perfect, home made with fresh ingredients and she fell in love with it. The servers were very kind and respectful as if it were their own restaurant. Very clean place and I will tell you that as of now, it's our "Go To" place for Mexican food. "We went here during the Arizona Restaurant Week. The parking can be challenge since it could be the same day that downtown Phoenix has an event (so please plan ahead). There is a parking structure near by, unfortunately, we could not get in because the parking ticket would not release from the machine (maybe the parking lot was already full?). Luckily there is a valet parking for the restaurants in the heritage square. The flip side is that we pay for valet parking. I think the restaurant will give you a compliment parking validation if you park at the parking structure.We came right when they are just opened. The dining room is spacious with beautiful decorations. The food are super-delicious and huge portion. The watermelon salad is so refreshing. The whipped goat cheese is addictive. Goat cheese is not my favorite but the chef here made it so delicious. The black garlic honey on top of whipped goat cheese make this dish complete. Hypha Mushroom Criollo is a huge bowl of variety of vegetable stew. This is my first time having Yolele Fonio grains. These grains help complement the broth in criollo. Last but not least, the Southern pound cake is to die for. I love watermelon sauce and coconut sauce on every bite of this cake.On the other side of the restaurant is a market. They have many products, dry food, clothes, skin cares, baskets, and bags. The baskets are so cute and I had to stop myself from getting too many things."

"This place is so cute! Me and my husband came to try this spot due to the vegan options! It's family owned and love that it has a homey feel to it. Very friendly family. It's small inside but there's a table where you can enjoy your food inside and plenty of outdoor tables. I decided to try the bbq tofu with potato salad, and vegan Mac and cheese. I was happy with the Mac and cheese. It doesn't taste vegan and it's made really well and the taste is delicious. The potato salad is sooo good! I loved how flavorful it was. The tofu is nice and I enjoy the flavor and love the amount they give. My husband loved his food! He doesn't like plantains, but this time he ordered oxtail,plantain, and yellow rice. He was enjoying everything he had and kept complimenting the plantains. Overall the flavors were delicious. The service was good and pretty fast for getting all the food out for us. Definitely recommend trying this place."

"Went back again last week 'cause I figured, hey those patty things are still delicious! What's good: They got their credit/debit card reader set up so you can pay with a swipe now! Yay! They also streamlined the menu so the menu is smaller, but you can get what's on it. That's good! And they have 2 different kinds of "patty" things!! Chicken and beef, I think. They're addictive like candy. I wish they had some hot pepper sauce like tabasco or something on the table for the patties! So I'm putting up this review that's a little better than the last time I visited. Yay improvement!!"

On this visit we placed our order to-go. We shared the chicken and brown rice, oxtail plate, Jerk & BBQ chicken, and everything was really good. Our entrees, were fresh, made to order, and very flavorful. The meats were moist, tender, and perfectly seasoned.I definitely plan on going back and sampling more menu items. If your in the mood for Caribbean food to go stop in. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, portions are generous, and prices are wallet friendly."
