"My son and I visited on a particularly cold day in January. Craving warmth and pho, we decided to check out Pho Chandler. So many people had the same idea because there was a line outside. We had originally planned on dining in, but as soon as I saw the amount of people waiting, I decided to order to-go.We were greeted as soon as we entered. The space is cozy and ample seating. I ordered the Gỏi Cuốn (spring rolls), $6.95, Phở Hải Sản (seafood pho), $17.50 and my son ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt (house pho), $14.50. It was ready within 20 minutes. We requested shrimp only in our spring rolls. It was fresh and the accompanying peanut sauce was rich, creamy, and delicious. My pho came with snow crab, shrimp, and scallop with rice noodle. The broth was flavorful and I appreciated the amount of protein it came with. It was a solid pho! My son's came with house special combination of sliced eye round steak, well done-brisket well-done flank, soft tendon, and trip and beef meatball with rice noodle. He, too enjoyed his pho. Would order from Pho Chandler again!"
"Pho 43 you have my heart. This s hands down the best place for Vietnamese food in all Arizona. If someone tell you other wise they probably put raisins in there potato salad lol I always let David order for me and so far everything I've had in the menu is delicious with that being said you definitely need to try the pho with steak and brisket, the breakfast of champions and you have to I mean you have to wash it down with a Thai Tea no excuses so don't walk but run to Pho 43 and thank me later this place has definitely made the must have list no questions asked"

"We haven't been here in a while since we live a bit further away but oh my we missed DaVang. Such comfort food. We can't find more authentic pho anywhere in AZ. Grape leaves wrapped pork, shrimp paste, rice rolls with mushrooms are all our favorites. Crepes are nice and crispy with loaded bean sprouts, shrimp and pork. Waiters are all very friendly and treat you like family. Will return as often as we can. Highly highly recommend!!!"
"I love the Papaya and Noodle plate. You can choose the meats of your choice. I usually like the chicken or beef. Nice spot to eat at in Phoenix. We enjoyed coming here on a night out to escape the heat. I also like the Spring Rolls here with shrimp or pork. NIce people, and staff working here. Prices are not high either. So, I will be coming here often."
"Our group was missing unPhogettable's food. You're greeted as soon as you enter. We were seated quickly. It didn't take long and we all knew what we wanted. #7 was very popular. Pho (soup) with noodles with veggies & tofu. Two of those orders substituted shrimp for the tofu. They were happy to do the change. The others ordered bun (vermicelli) with pork. The shrimp allotment was very generous. There is an added fee for the substitution and well worth it. Excellent food with nice, helpful staff. They thanked us as we left too. Shared parking and WiFi in the plaza."
"Decent place to get your pho fix. We had a combo pho which had nice flavor. It came out extra hot so all the bean sprouts had plenty of heat to cook in the broth. They had the extra large size if you're feeling extra hungry. We also tried their fried rice noodle with pork and veggies. We loved the crispy rice chunks and sauce was really tasty. We would order this again. Will return to try more things. Highly recommend."
"Good food , good service, good ambiance. The Cornish hen is really good and flavorful, short ribs good but not amazing, crispy noodles good(kids love it), egg rolls really good, but Thai tea wasn't that sweet."
"We wanted some banh mi (baguette sandwiches) for dinner so I made a stop at Saigon Bowl. This family owned business have the nicest and very appreciative staff at the counter. I ordered a grilled chicken banh mi. I asked staff for a recommendation on pork sausage or grilled pork banh mi. He hesitated and finally said pork sausage. Their pork sausage is handmade by the mom. Sweet!I went with his suggestion. The to go banh mi arrived nicely wrapped and warm. Too bad we weren't eating them immediately. Update on the meal, we will stick to their other meals. Neither of the Banh mi were as flavorful as others we have tried. The price is very reasonable for a 6" banh mi. Shared parking and Cox WiFi for subscribers."
"The food was delicious, no complaints. And it arrived at the table in a reasonable amount of time. I was surprised to see that they have a drink menu. Great for first dates or family night. There was something splattered on the wall in the booth that I was sitting. Other than that, the space appears to be maintained. Plenty of parking. Accessible entrance."
"Was craving pho and hit up my handy Yelp app and found Pho Leo near by. After reading the reviews I was looking forward to giving it a try!It was a Sunday afternoon, and the place was busy but not packed, service was a little slow but it looked like only a few were working the entire place, but they were friendly and never made you feel rushed when ordering. After checking out the menu I ordered some shrimp spring rolls and Pho Ga. The spring rolls were shrimp, rice vermicelli, lettuce, cilantro and mint rolled in rice paper, and it came with a side of peanut sauce, these were fresh tasty and I love how the mint just pops with flavor. The Pho was served with bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapenos lime wedge along with rice noodles and sliced chicken breast. This was a great bowl of Pho. Glad to have given Pho Leo a try!"
"There's a reason this place has such an excellent rating, it's amazing. Tucked away in an assuming strip of a strip mall this counter service spot is worth a visit. We ordered shrimp rolls and 2 entrees and were worried we under ordered. There was plenty of food and it was very good. If you like Vietnamese food definitely try this place."
"Lunch with a friend. We were the first ones in the restaurant. We both love this place. Staff are nice, the place is cozy and the food delicious. We both had the grilled chicken bun with egg rolls. The dish didn't disappoint. Loved the meal! Shared parking lot."

LOVED LOVED LOVED!! I am not a huge soup person but I am in love! I ordered the beef pho and added my own spice, it was so delicious! I ordered the small bowl and I even had enough left overs for today, I just ordered an extra side of meat. I wish the bowl had extra meat that is the only thing I would change. We tried the chicken egg rolls, they had a fishy taste to it which wasn't our favorite. If you like fish egg rolls then you would love them! They were very crispy. We also got the gyozas and they were super filling, juicy, and crispy. We would ordered them again! The servers were super fast at taking care of everyone. We ordered extra bean sprouts and they arrived within 2 minutes of ordering! They were quick! The restaurant is very small, I wish it was bigger so the wait wasn't so long but it is worth the wait!

Came here on a Saturday early afternoon after dropping family at the airport (also Father Day weekend) already pretty packed when we got there but there was a table or two available. The waiter was patient as I had my baby with me and had to get settled before ordering. Got two PHO, a spring roll, and Thai ice tea. Thai ice tea is your run of the mill Thai ice tea. The spring rolls and pho however were very good. Spring rolls came in at a set of 3 rather than your typical 2. And the pho was nice and hot! That's not all!!! The broth was so flavorful. Not all places can give you nice and hot broth to start but this place had it down nice and hot AND full of flavor. The noodles and meats were all good and were good portion. Just the broth itself is worth the return visit but what made it even better was when checking out, they offered a special discount given it was Father's Day weekend. An unexpected surprise and super nice people have made me want to go back more often! Definitely will be back!Note to owner, my daughter really appreciated what you did for her daddy and being so patient with her (we took a picture to commemorate our first Father's Day!)

I've been here HUNDREDS of times throughout my life- don't ask me why it's taken so long to review.Da Vang has been a go-to spot for me ever since I was a wee bitty little human. That's right... a long, long, long time ago. So of course, it's my favorite in Phoenix. That being said- Da Vang never disappoints. The food is always delicious. It's a little mom & pop shop located in a small plaza along 19th Ave. This place can get PACKED at certain times, so keep that in mind if you're: (1) starving and unwilling to wait OR (2) crossing your fingers in hopes of finding a parking space. (Maybe check Google for the "busiest times" and avoid going then.)*Whenever I'm there I try to read the room. If it's busy, I won't take up too much time eating so others can be seated sooner. But if it happens to be slower, I may sit for a few after I eat to chit chat for a bit. Just stay considerate of others.*The orders always come out hot, fresh, and quick! And once you're finished, just head to the counter with your table number in mind to close out and pay the bill. *Your bill will not be brought to your table when you're done eating.*Note: Some folks are used to a server that wants to have small talk, so please don't be offended if the servers here don't do that. They are constantly busy and always in a rush to serve you better. And as I've mentioned earlier- they're really just trying to speed up for the other people who may be waiting. Regardless- they're super efficient here!ENJOY!

After a long haitus of 5 years, I finally had the chance to return to Ban Mi Bistro. I was amazed and pleased to see that this wonderful eatery has retained its stellar accomplishments of great food, efficient staff, and reasonable prices. As you can see from my previous reviews, this used to be my daily lunch spot. Changes in work had me relocated during my lunch time, and I had lost touch with this great food. Today, I had a chance to return, and return I did. I bought the rice plate with chicken, which, by all accounts, is enough food for 2 people. And wow, the flavor still kicks ass. Sizzling hot food, with the perfectly sublime gentle spice undertones that seem to comfort your mouth at every bite. The chicken rice plate has a collage of chopped veggies accompanying the chicken and rice, and all of it is amazing. The staff continues to be kind and swift, while being helpful at every turn. And they get the dishes prepared in rocket speed!I was never unhappy when this was my mainstay linch stop, and I am glad to see it continues to be the best asian eatery in the area. Well done to John and the staff!!

Have been coming here for years. So far, the best Pho in town. We seem to order the same thing each time we come here. #1 and S5 are our favorites. The broth is unbeatable. Service is immediate and as far as the ambiance, it's okay. We came for the food and was not disappointed. The only thing that has changed is the price #1 is now $17 and S5 is $19. Pot of tea $3.Don't tip because the the tip is automatically included as SERVICE FEE, 15%.

This place was really good. Nestled inside of a small shopping area, it was very tasty. The pho had so much flavor and was huge. The coconut water was so refreshing and the staff were very nice. Would definitely be back

Came after a long break, new menu and didn't have avocado smoothie was the first stike. Second was the price , even the lunch special is no special. Third strike was the waiter and waitress. Waitress couldn't speak or understand any English, the waiter got my order wrong. How was the food, okay but this places isn't cheap and you come for good cheap eats

Let me tell you about this hidden gem! Their B4 Bun Vermicelli Bowl is like a flavor party in your mouth, with amazing beef, pork, shrimp and crispy spring rolls that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Seriously, it's so good you'll want to write a love song about it. And don't even get me started on their Banh Mi - it's like biting into a little piece of heaven. Crispy bread, juicy meats, and tangy pickled veggies all in one bite? It's life-changing, my friend. Great service all around, and as I dined, I noticed tons of regulars walking in. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this culinary experience!

"I enjoyed my shishito peppers as app from HH and the spring rolls were delish with their own made peanut sauce. I was too full for more and took some home. The service was very good. As for ambiance, 2 tvs playing is not my idea of an eve out ."
"I've been going here for many years. You get huge servings for a solid price and it's quite the hearty meal. Healthy, yummy and simple. Recommend!"
"We asked our Phoenix friends for recommendations and they suggested this place. I love that their menu has lots of options besides pho.We got wonton soup without the noodles ($10.99), dry egg noodle birds nest ($12.99), and salted fish fried rice with shrimp ($11.99) to share among four of us.Either we were hungry or everything tasted good here! The dry egg noodles were crispy and crunchy until you drenched it in the sauce then it'll soak up all the flavors from the sauce. The wonton soup broth was clear. You snooze you lose because I didn't get to have a wonton. Either they ate a lot or there weren't enough to begin with and they were small.Salted fish fried rice was my least favorite because it was lacking the salted fish so it wasn't salty from the fish but salty from the salt. It was more rice than fish and very few shrimp. This dish is usually hit or miss and more known to Chinese than Vietnamese. It was more like a plain fried rice.Overall, food was great. This place remained busy throughout with lots of take out orders while we were there."
"I was in the mood for a tasty sandwich and after checking out the Yelp app Mekong Sandwiches looked like it was the place that had what I was craving so off I went. After checking out the menu I went with the grilled chicken. It was marinated chicken breast with lemongrass on a fresh roll topped with pickled carrots, daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, jalapenos, red onion, soy sauce, salt & pepper, mayo and pate. This sandwich was just what I was craving! From the 1st bite to the last bite, it was perfection, so dang good!If looking for a great tasting sandwich go give Mekong Sandwiches a try!"
"Small cute corner restaurant with outdoor seating.Food was delicious. Saigon salad with pork is served in a large plate with fresh veggies and lots of meat.Their braised pork is served in a small cast iron with a side of rice. Meat was very tender but wished it was served on top of rice so all the juicy sauce gets soaked onto the rice. But it was still delicious. We got half off pho for Happy hour before 3pm on the weekends. The broth was so good. Tasted like there wasn't msg added but tasted homemade like how my mom used to make it.Note: we are a family of 5...tips were already included.Overall the ambiance and the cute decor and most importantly the food makes me crave to see what else the menu has to offer."
"Average in pricing, but good size portions. Had a couple of pho entrees and both were delicious.Very casual atmosphere, small dining area and great mix of clientele. Young and old, couples and families and all seemed to be happy and comfortable.Don't go if you're looking for formality. But do go for an actual 'good food' experience."
"Oooo- this is my first visit to a Vietnamese restaurant and I will tell you, Pho Da Lat does not disappoint! We started out with a number of appetizers. When the server came back he had certain dips for each app, which was amazing! For our main meal 3 of the group ordered the pho with me ordering the Chef's Special, Pepper Tofu. Wow on all of it! I was told the pho was so good and such a large portion you can take it home for another meal! The owner is also the chef here so everything is made fresh to order. Service here was also spot on. Eat local and when you have a craving for Vietnamese go to Ph Da Lat!"
"The one aspect of this place that I found vastly impressive was that our waitress was able to memorize all 7 of our orders without writing anything down. Even more amazing was that she still remembered our orders when we went to pay our bills one by one. There was this guy working there wearing a grey shirt who was absolutely useless. I asked him for a glass of water while waiting for the rest of my party and he did absolutely nothing. All he did was get on his phone and play Candy Crush or something. It's funny that my other friends who frequent this place talk about this same guy as being useless at his job. They should fire him since he doesn't do any work. I ordered a beef fried rice which cost $16.89 (includes tax and tip). The whole plate of rice was above average. I would say the beef was my least favorite part of it."
"Friendly family owned and ran Vietnamese restaurant. This was my first time visiting V.Nam Pho and I have nothing to say but good things. V.Nam Pho is a friendly family owned Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, prices are wallet friendly, and the food is delicious. This place offers great authentic Vietnamese food. On this visit we shared the orange chicken, crispy egg rolls, crab puffs, and potstickers, everything was delicious. The orange chicken was moist, flavorful, and wasn't drowning in sauce, like other restaurants serve. The eggrolls and potstickers were crispy and so tasty, and the crab puffs were some of the best I've had.I'd you're craving Vietnamese Food, stop in, this place doesn't dis"
"Always delicious, the chicken pho and egg rolls are my favorite! Service is always friendly and the food comes out so quick. A must try if you are in the area and don't forget to get a Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee! So good!!"
"I haven't been here in awhile and I remember it being great so I took my bf here for his birthday earlier this week. It was so delicious we came back again today! The service is concise and friendly. The woman working does everything in there! The table has a lot of sauces and accoutrement to mix up flavors in your food which is fun. The food comes fast and is so hot and fresh. They give you large full plates of fresh herbs and sprouts as soon as you order. We got the spring rolls and banh xeo which is a crispy fried crepe filled with pork, shrimp and vegetables. It's absolutely amazing and I wish I could eat it everyday. We got 2 types of pho, mine had sliced sirloin which was tender and flavorful and my bf got the seafood pho which had a ton of squid and shrimp. The portions are massive and they don't shy on the noodles at all. I can't finish a bowl in one sitting. We also ordered jasmine iced tea which was floral and fresh and they give you a HUGE refill pitcher of it!The value is incredible. We had all that food for under 60$ and had plenty to take home. They have Togo containers and bags up front so you can help yourself, which I love.. I cannot wait to come back again and try more of the menu!"
"Pho 602 was good choice because we were in the neighborhood. Located in a spacious strip mall with ample parking. Spacious dining room and patio (which they didn't utilize at the moment). Pho broth is very satisfying especially on a cold winter day. Their pho 602 was delicious with all the usual meat topping. Beef short rib pho was delish too. The meat was fall off the bone goodness. The pork chop combo rice plate was good also. There was enough flavor on the meats so no need to add any fish sauce that it came with. The soft shell crab slider was very unique. It would have been better if they didn't add so much sauce to it. It was dripping in sauce with every bite. The crab was freshly fried and the bread was nicely toasted. Asking for sauce on the sauce next time. Highly recommend!"
"Pho Cao: divey, but surprisingly authentic!Pho Cao is an interesting concept, one I've never seen before; Vietnamese food/American Karaoke bar. I was concerned with the authenticity of the Vietnamese food given the concept, but was appeased by the Vietnamese on the menu and the steady influx of to go orders while we were there. We were there on a Wednesday evening so there was no live music which I believe is on the weekend. We ordered spring rolls, Bo lu lac (shaken beef), and Cao's special fried rice (Chinese sausage, bbq pork, and shrimp). There were some beer specials for Bf and I requested a piña colada- although they did not have coconut crème. The waiter asked the bartender what they were able to do and they made me a coconut rum/pineapple juice/lime blended concoction which was almost as good as a piña. Really I appreciated the fact that they were willing to work with me! The spring rolls were lackluster, mostly filled with cabbage, a sliver of pork, and shrimp that was not listed on the menu. They stuck to the plate and each other and were dull. The peanut sauce was on the runnier side. Of everything we ordered we would not get this again. The bo lu lac (shaken beef) was some of the best I've been able to find in Arizona! The beef cubes could have more consistent in size and there could have been a smidge more bell peppers but the taste was spot on! The portion was more generous than my eyes had lead me to believe! Cao's special fried rice tasted authentic, the way my friend's mom used to make! Not too salty and not under seasoned. The meat to rice portion was great; there was more meat than rice which you don't see often! We ate about half and took the other half to go.Overall a very unique and cool spot definitely worth checking out!"
"I haven't had pho in over 10 years. It was definitely time to try it again. Phenomenal. Just amazing. Why did I wait so many years to have pho again? This place offers a full on coconut as a drink. They bring out the coconut with a hole on the top to consume the drink AND eat the coconut filling. I guess this was a young coconut so the nut part was all soft and creamy and amazingly delicious. I had never had one of them before. the wanton soup was great! The broth tasted like pho broth. The beef was delicious! Definitely need to go back soon."
"I visited Surprise Pho on a whim. I craved for vietnamese food and called ahead to place my order. They were helpful in helping me figure out the menu. Since I was in a time crunch I had to make sure the food would be ready. They had it readily prepared for me to eat. I got the hot stone bbq ribeye. I love a hot and sizzling plate. I'm not sure but when I had it for my dine in option.. I was hoping to hear the food crackle and pop. But surprisingly it did not get that effect. I ate the steak that once cut into pieces with onion and bell peppers. It was more like a peppered steak dish. It was mediocre, but I'm assuming it would've been as bomb dot com if they had put it hot on the platter and kept the ribeye steak intact and cooked to our liking. I got the shrimp spring roll, it was rolled thick. It helped make me feel full. I appreciate the customer service at this restaurant. I think they can improve the dated interior. I hope they can better their food. But for anyone in the surprise area who doesn't know pho and vietnamese food like I do, the price is a good options for a quick grab and go."
"Finding good Vietnamese in Arizona can be tricky, but Pho For Days comes through.I grabbed a table on a Thursday evening; the dining room was casual and airy. Straying a bit from my go to order (summer rolls + pho), I kept the summer rolls and did an order of bun bo xao xa: lemongrass beef + stir fried and raw veggies over vermicelli. The summer rolls were plump and fresh with a thinner than expected peanut sauce, while the bun bo was tasty if lacking in punch"
"Took my dad here for some lunch. The place was clean and only a couple more groups in there. We were greeted right away and it is seat yourself. We ordered the spring rolls with pork and shrimp, wonton noodle soup and vermicelli bowl. The spring rolls were nice and fresh, and the peanut sauce was on point. I have noticed some places have maybe overproduced peanut sauce and it is really watery but not Fu Belly! My dad loved his wonton noodle soup and finished every drop. He already wants to come back here.Overall friendly service, good prices and portions. Definitely recommend!"
"We started with the fresh shrimp spring rolls and my combination bowl was excellent! Packed with flavor. Reminded me of my favorite Vietnamese place back in Seattle. $16 for my entree, too big to finish. Ingredients were fresh, flavorful and portions were very large.Clean tables & bathrooms. Great service."
"Hands down, best Vietnamese food I've had in Phoenix area! I'm always in Mesa for Korean food (as I'm Korean) but discovered Saigon Jade today based on all the great reviews. Most of us got Pho Tai--it was delicious and abundant. The egg rolls were tasty and fresh. We also ordered the grilled pork platter with rice wraps--definitely worth a repeat. We will be coming back to this restaurant again and again. Great for kids families too. Super clean and wonderful, warm customer service. Truly a gem of a place."
"Located in a strip mall on Alma School & Ray you'll find this little gem .. The owner is a one man show.. he takes your order, makes the food, delivers it to your table, refills your drinks.. welcomes new diners in, takes phone orders.. pretty effortless! And he does it with a smile!! The place was empty when I walked in, I asked the owner what he recommended.. Thai basil with chicken .. medium heat and a side of egg rolls.. food came out timely and hot!! The egg rolls were a little greasy but overall the food had lots of flavor, and the serving sizes were generous.I will most definitely be back.. lunch specials $6.50.. the couple after me were regulars and he joked they always get the same thing.. the patron responded I know what I like and it's always good!"
"Heard and read about this place so today at 9:30 am I gave them a try. Beautiful, clean place with lots of appetizing photos on the outside. Several tables filled even at that hour. I was just there for some take out, Spring Rolls is what I was craving. Very friendly staff. Took my order and gave me a cup full of cold water as I waited. Said it would take 10-15 minutes. No problem, certainly willing to wait a few minutes. About 5 minutes later I was ready to go with my order. Did not even look in the box, wanted to be surprised when I got home. Once there, I was ready, opened the box and it was a thing of beauty. Three nice sized rolls, hot sauce and a great peanut dipping sauce. I dug in.....mmmm...these are the best Spring Rolls I have had since I left Hawaii. These are the real thing, the way they are suppose to be, shrimp, pork, lettuce, herbs, noodles ....perfect. Their menu had lots and lots of super looking items and I will be back later in the week to start my way through it. Highly recommended."
"This is in an old Taco Bell. Not much to look at. But what matters most, the food, is great. You order at the counter (no table service) and your food comes out fast. It's a great place for a quick lunch.I had #11 - phô with brisket. It was a little light on meat but still very good. Prices are reasonable. A good sized bowl of phô will set you back $10 to $12. This is far better than fast food for around the same price."
