"My goodness! Now... I saw the photos and said this looks just like the food I used to eat when I ate meat... let me see how good it is. First of all, everything on the menu sounds delicious. I got the General Tso Chicken and that first bite... oh my. It had a good crunch on it and then went tender and the flavor... ON POINT! If I was staying in AZ longer, I would have gone back and tried all the things. The drinks are also delicious. I grabbed a pink passion. Since I dined in, I had to control my food dancing but trust me when I say you need to visit this spot. Seems like they do a lot of to-go orders but sitting inside is peaceful. When I came in I was greeted and seated instantly. The staff was very attentive. I also appreciated the level of care around cleanliness. This will be a stop every time I'm in town. Any wait to bring a travel buddy with me."
"Excellent south Indian restaurant. This is my second time here. It's so close I don't know why I've waited so long to come back. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived. We asked for help with the menu, he asked a few questions and then said he would take care of us! I really appreciate having my dishes spicy. It's cooked when ordered so my meal was prepared how I wanted it! We had a complete experience in terms of great food, cleanliness, hospitality and a decent price for the food. We will definitely be back! * Keep in mind they are closed from 3-5:00."

"Birthday Lunch with my bestie today. Fabulous gluten free vegan menu and no cane suga! Highly recommend the gluten free flat bread pizza, this was the best I have ever had! For starters with had a cauliflower dish, just really tasty. For desert we shared the moca truffle heart and a pecan maple cheesecake! Both desserts at the top scale for enjoyable! we end our afternoon with a mesmerizing elixir ceremony you will enjoy experiencing. looking forward to returning for a Saturday brunch in a couple of weeks! Definitely make the time to check out this vegan gluten free friendly place, your tastebuds will thank you."
"What a fun place to visit, the ambience is very chill and laid-back. The staff is very friendly, and there are a lot of people that brought their families and dates and businesses. We got the barbecue sandwich. It was most delicious along with the blueberry lavender and chocolate chip waffle ice cream we were so full afterwards it was a perfect portions. We sat right by the outdoor patio next to the window and had a view of the patio and outdoors such a cute and pleasant experience will definitely be back."
""Tacos Veganos" means exactly what you think it does - you're about to imbibe upon some vegan tacos (and other typical Mexican food staples). You place your order at the cashier and then they will call your order number when your order is ready. So that's the cue to go pick up your delicious meal!Every time I have been to Tacos Veganos, I have opted for tacos... and will continue to do so! The Al Pastor and Quesa Birria are my two favorite gluten-free "meats" and both truly addicting!I don't normally crave vegan food, but I do crave tacos... and when my vegan friends want to go to Tacos Veganos, then I will always be a "yes!"Overall rating:*****FIVE STARS*****Gluten-free rating:****FOUR STARS****"
"This place is a gift sent from heaven and the owner is an amazing person. Family-owned, local, 100% vegan bakery in the community! Butter free, egg free, gluten free and vegan. I don't know how they make this magic but my tummy is so happy!! So comfortable, friendly and did I mention yummy!!! The restrooms are accessible and it's a great place to gather with a small group of friends. Parking lot is medium sized. The biggest surprise was the yummy vegan ice cream made out of macadamia nuts. It's a pleasure to be able to support local businesses. Oh yeah, their coffee was great too!On Fridays, they have Vegan food trucks. Looking forward to seeing all the options!"

4.5 StarsVeggie Village is the best collective of vegetarian or vegan option when you're looking for Asian food in the Phoenix area. Some options are also available in gluten free. They are very observant on how to prepare your meal. They have my trust when I place my order at Veggie Village. The best thing besides the food is the great service! The only bad thing I can say about Veggie Village is the parking lot situation.

We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious. Made fresh the owner personally weights on you and is more than happy and willing to explain the menu as well as gift suggestions based on your taste the restaurant is clean and they have a relatively new juice bar now.

What a great find. Been passing this place for years and decided to finally check it out. Everything on the menu is plant based and gluten free on top of no dairy, soy, seed oil, or refined sugar. I had a half Caesar to start- haven't had one in years due to my dietary restrictions. It was great. Next I had the FOMO platter and it was solid. For my main course I had the Crunchwrap- the breakfast one. It was pretty good! Also had cherry "wine"- it's non alcoholic. For desert I had the blueberry cheesecake which was my favorite thing I had.Overall, I will be coming back and would recommend it to anyone who has dietary restrictions, is health conscious or just likes healthy food. Servers are very helpful and the vibe in the place is laid back.

Solid vegan food, friendly staff and nice environment. I came from Miami and we have NO vegan options for Mexican food except for the amazing El Nopalito family owned pop up at YG farmers market. This is a great spot, would eat here again.

It's really cool to see a local grow. I last visited Tacos Veganos on a hot summer day several years ago. At that time, they had a truck parked in an alley between two businesses. Ar that time, one couldn't miss their logo and that big black taco. I remember waiting so giddy to have their tacos under the sweltering and oppressive heat of the desert. My order was ready and I ran to the cool confines of my brother's truck. Here's a tidbit about me, I despise eating in any vehicle. I enjoyed every bite and favor that day. Fast forward to a couple of days, I returned to the Valley of the Sun and discovered that Tacos Veganos had taken over the Beaut Burger location. Sad to see to Beaut go but ecstatic for Tacos Veganos to inhabit that space. The bold and brightness of the truck is all over the inside of the space. It's inviting and easy to order at the counter. The menu is 100% vegan with emphasis on Mexican Street Tacos made available with different protein options. Non-GMO soy is one of the options as well as Jackfruit. I ordered the Birria tacos and Vegano fries. We sat down and a short time later our order was ready. It came with two bottles of sauces. One red and one green. Both are good but I prefer the red as it is slightly more spicy. My Birria tacos with the consume were authentic and packed with flavors. One could blindfold 100 taco experts and I would wager to bet that no one would know that they were eating vegan tacos with Jackfruit. It was that good. The consume was spectacular, greasy, juicy, messy, flavorful, hot, and spicy. If you go this route, you're going to need a handful of napkins otherwise suffer the fate of consume juice on your fingers and your mouth. The Vegano fries were good but I think I like order more tacos next time. I could have eaten another three or four more tacos and really empty the well of the consume. Moreover, glad to see that Tacos Veganos is thriving and cultivating their fan base. Their tacos are bussin and the whole experience slaps. To the team at Tacos Veganos, Bien hecho y Felicidades. I may have to look at Alaska's and Southwest Airlines deal page for trips to Phoenix to get my cravings satisfied at Tacos Veganos.

I heard amazing things about BEG Bakery. What's even more amazing is that the great recommendations came from some without diet restrictions. BEG is an acronym for Butter, Egg, and Gluten free. I was a little curious to give it a try. I ordered a surprise bag from the Too Good to go App. It came with 4 muffins and 2 cookies. The cookies were absolutely delicious. I'm not a huge muffin guy, but I found the muffins to be excellent as well. Dense and flavorful. One of the co-owners Rick was super friendly and gave me a tour of the menu. He let me sample their vegan ice cream, which I must say was some of the best ice cream that I've ever had. I am not much of a baked good guy, but I am a big ice cream guy. I would definitely come back for the ice cream. Also, it sounds like they are beginning to offer vegan lunch and dinners as well. Very intriguing.

Jackpot! I was at Desert Ridge for an event and was looking for a vegan spot on my way home to Chandler, and this spot popped up and I had to check it out. It's located in strip mall with plenty of parking, and it's got a pretty decent size dining room (booths, tables, and picnic tables in the middle as well). The restroom was super clean too. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it to you, and you can also order from a kiosk. I can rarely order anything at traditional Asian restaurants, so I was so excited it was a fully vegan spot, and I wanted to try everything on the menu! I got the cream cheese wantons, a side order of steamed veggies, and the sweet & sour chicken and a mango tea.I miss having cream cheese wantons, and these did NOT disappoint!! Crispy with the creamy center and they were flavorful (especially with the dipping sauce)! The veggies were steamed perfectly with a little crunch (I just like adding more veggies to meal knowing it's usually only a few in main dishes). Sweet & sour chicken was one of my favorite dishes to order at Chinese food spots, so I was elated to see a vegan version here. Even better, it was actually crispy like the real deal. Crisp batter, chewy center, and the sauce was just sweet enough. If this spot wasn't 50mins away from my house, I would be here all the time, but you better believe I will come back any time I'm in the area!!The staff was friendly and the place was clean, as were the restrooms. Highly recommend whether you're vegan or not!!!

"Veggie Village is just a fabulous restaurant with vegan options. Located in a strip mall, with plenty of parking, it has very nice and clean exterior. Staff is friendly, and the chef will personally come and speak with customers about the food he made for them. He is truly vested into delivering tasty meals to his customers. Veggie potstickers were fantastic as appetizers. In fact I like them more than the traditional ones with pork. Miso soup is on the list of available appetizers, and it is fantastic! Garlic noodles and fried rice were equally good. Generous portions and friendly staff. Of particular note is the interior of the restaurant. Lots of custom made wooden decor as well as green color to go along with the veggie theme..."
"Great place to stop for some green juice and something healthy. The decor is really aesthetic and they have crystals they also sell. I ordered the mint chip 16 oz and it was pretty tasty. The consistency isn't too thick and the mint is light and not overpowering. My cousins got the green juice and downed it quickly. They said it was refreshing and they felt ready for the day."
"So, so tasty! Everything that I tasted was so yummy. I decided that I had to eat a Claypot of something (after all it's in the name), but there's a lot of good option on the menu if you want a soup too or something else. My HK claypot of chicken seemed to kick up in spicy as I ate to the bottom! Very good flavor. I also enjoyed the cauliflower dish. I could also totally get hooked on the blueberry cider (I love blueberries) and this was so tasty!! Waitstaff members were wonderful!"
"Since I was in the area, I finally made it over to check out this place. I originally saw Voodoo Donuts-Portland featured on several food shows, so when I heard they were setting up shop in Tempe, I was excited to try them. I figured, it had been long enough for the craze to die down. Upon entering, i was immediately greeted by a young lady that was assisting other customers. After she was done with checking them out, she offered to take my order or check back. I was busy looking at the showcase, so I said i was not ready. She offered a counter laminated product sheet and said she would give me some time. She was very friendly, professional and courteous (Tea D, I believe is her name). Once I was ready to order is was ready to take my order. I opted for a few donuts I wanted to try (for to go) one of which was the infamous Voodoo Doll with raspberry filling & a pretzel stick poked into it. I didn't get to look around too much, but I did notice the bakery/kitchen has large window looking into it. The place was very clean and the smell of fresh donuts in the air. The donuts appeared to be fresh and traveled well on my trip back to Mesa area (in the large pink box). I will definitely return to try others soon."
"Cute coffee shop with delicious coffee and sweets! I had the Cardamom Rose latte, and the Cherry Apricot Apple Turnover and BOTH were perfect! Free street parking with patio seating and seating inside too."
"The food!! GO! Now!! I literally texted my friends, a picture of my dinner, and said buy your plane ticket. Don't be scared off by the outside. It's got a parking lot and once you get through the front door, you are transformed into a welcoming space. They offer beer wine, and it looks like hard liquor. I don't drink, but I had a lovely pot of hot cinnamon tea. The food was spectacular. Everything I had was delicious. Just go you won't be disappointed."
"Someone's child was working here just about every time I visited. He was mannerable, but he was sniffing and kept wiping his runny nose with his gloved hand and proceeded to attempt to handle food. I hate to be that person, but I had to call him out on it (only after I saw him start to handle food). I essentially told him that I saw him just wipe his nose, so he needed to wash his hands and put on a fresh pair of gloves. He complied, but he was salty about it. I know staffing issues plague multiple businesses, but you cannot just leave a child to run your business if you want to stay in business.I tried their Bad and Bougie (topped with creme brûlée frosting, raspberries, and caramel drizzle; I omitted the almonds), Unicorn (strawberry frosting, sprinkles, marshmallows, and cinnamon dust), and a build your own cinnamon roll with maple frosting, brownie bites, marshmallows, and caramel sauce. The Unicorn roll was my favorite, but my BYO was also rich and divinely decadent. Snotty nosed kid aside, I like Cinnaholic and campaigned for them to come to the PHX area since 2012. Now this is just one of many locations in the valley of the sun. This location is closest to me, but I'd venture down to Tempe based on what I've witnessed."
"This business took the place of Menchie's, which is a positive change. My friend had been here before and like their freezes, so we stopped in one evening to get some. I got their smore's one and my friend got their cookie one. My dessert came with vanilla soft serve but I swapped it for chocolate instead, and it was topped with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and granola. I love that everything is vegan! It was pretty tasty as well. My friend enjoyed her sundae and got it with a vanilla and chocolate swirl. There are a lot of juice options here (obviously) but I didn't try any this visit, maybe next time. Staff was friendly and the shop is bright and clean."
