"Really cool place in downtown Gilbert. Very trendy fun environment. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The decor was really nice and all the staff seemed fun and upbeat. The food was pretty good. Maybe a little more visually appealing than it tasted, however. But definitely not bad. My wife had a few of their tacos - the pork adobada, the standard, and the crispy fish. The positive was they were generous with the meat, but it was a bit salty. I had the green chili chicken burrito. It was pretty good. But also thought it was a bit salty, and couldn't taste the chorizo in it. We also the flinstone churro. That we were not a fan of. It was really dry and hard.Overall, pretty cool spot. Would definitely go back."
"Perfect spot to grab some authentic tacos. Crispy chips and savory salsa was provided to munch on while we waited for our meals. Their taco platter, which came with four corn tortillas was so filling and yummy. Rice and beans were delicious as well. Crispy Brussel sprouts rounded out the meal perfectly. Service was excellent and their patio provided nice and cozy place to enjoy visiting with friends while enjoying our food. Enjoy! Highly highly recommend!!"

"From order time to the tacos being ready was literally seconds. The place was very clean as well as the staff was friendly. I only had the carne asada tacos with corn tortillas but the taste was amazing. The salsa bar was also so good. I had a margarita with chamoy and tajin and that was nice as welll. My friend had the micalada and she said it was really good as well. I definitely will be going back. Went back the next day for more tacos. Lol. So good"
"Now these tacos are nothing like San Diego (or Mexico), but for Arizona, I would say these are top tier. My boyfriend told me that the tortillas are freshly made by hand, and they are near perfect -- so good! He ordered a chicken and two carnitas tacos, I got a fish, carnitas and barbacoa taco, and we got the chicharrones. I will say that the tacos were very oily, as in dripping, but that also adds some flavor. The fish taco, which also had a rich crema, and the barbacoa tacos were my favorite. The carnitas taco was also tasty, but I had a lot of fat pieces, which my boyfriend is more a fan of. The chicharrones had a kick to them, but were so crunchy and delicious. We each had a Jarritos to drink, but their beverages sounded enticing. We also sat outside since it was so nice out, but I would like to dine in because the establishment looks cute. It is a pretty open and inviting space. I definitely want to come back and try other food on the menu, as well as come back for the chicharrones."
"They have happy hour all day Wednesday. We got two mocktails. I got the strawberry 1 and my friend got a spicy 1. Mine had a bit of spice but it was good. We got guac to start. It was delicious. They give you the chips in a brown bag which me and my friend thought it was weird. We asked for a bowl and the worker gave us a weird look that we asked for a bowl. We wanted it for the chips. I got the skirt steak and it was delicious. Also got the Korean chicken and that was horrible. Like the first bite was horrible then the second bite was good and it was horrible again. My friend got a steak taco and a fish taco and she liked them both."
"I had an impromptu lunch here a few weeks ago with a friend, and while it wasn't my choice to come here, the food was a pleasant surprise.I was in the area and needed a lunch spot and asked my friend to choose, so this is where we ended up.We walked in, and this place was packed with people, so that's a good sign! Means meals are being made and lots of them! Which usually means fresh! I, unfortunately, have some tummy issues, and for some reason, there seems to be a pattern that when I do eat spicy Mexican, things start to go awry. I love Mexican, but my tummy puts up a protest, so I try to limit my intake.Anyhow, I was a little worried I would have a flare up, but I tried to stay positive. What caught my eye was the special of the day of tamale de elote. I love tamales and usually can handle those as they tend to be milder and you can choose to add spicy or not. I think this dish came to $8.95 or so and came with 2 tamales, rice, beans and chips and salsa, and the portion was large.I really liked the tamale de elote and had lunch for the next day too and no tummy flareup! Win-win! This is a grab and go place with some seating inside and outdoors. I'd definitely come back for their tamales again!"
"My bestie and I came to this spot before heading to the arena down the street, and it turned out to be the perfect pre-game destination for dinner and drinks. We both started with coconut mojitos, which were fantastic. We shared the grilled Mexican street corn and the nachos con queso blanco, adding short rib machaca. Both dishes were delicious and filling. The ambiance inside is a bit dark, which creates a vibe we really enjoyed. We will definitely come back here before our next concert."
"If you're looking for real, authentic TJ-style tacos, this is the spot. Tacos Tijuana brings simple, delicious flavors with every bite, and the tortillas hechas en casa are what truly set them apart. Soft, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, la tortilla can make or break a taco--and here, it absolutely makes it.I'm always going for the asada because I'm a classic like that, but el al pastor and even the veggie al pastor made with mushrooms are puro fuego. Every taco is on point! The staff is super amable, always so helpful, and you can tell they love what they do. The place is clean, organized, and the vibe with the banda music playing is perfect. As someone who misses home (San Diego), Tacos Tijuana gives me that comfort, making me feel like I'm right back in Southern California. Si eres de San Diego o SoCal y andas buscando tacos estilo TJ, no busques más--este es el lugar! And now that they've added burritos to the menu? ¡Uf, una bomba! They're just as incredible as the tacos.Gracias, Tacos Tijuana, for always making me feel like I'm home. ¡Gracias por hacerme sentir que estoy en casa!"
"I loved Irma's!!!We stopped here after a long road trip and from seeing the great reviews. The location is located by a few lumber factories but don't let that stop you. The food and service here was amazing!!Everything tasted so fresh and had so much flavor. They even have a few daily specials which I believe they change every so often... it was expensive either. Definitely worth the buck!Thank you Irma!!"
"I'm from California and really missed the Taco trucks out there. When I found Maskadores I was really happy because the food is really good and I had been so disappointed at other Mexican food places. I would have to say this place is one of my favorite!! I highly recommend it and the people are very friendly."
"Great, personable service in a spotless setting topped with some excellent food. This is definitely a great place to check out and eat at when in the area."
"Great tacos! The birria is where it's at! It is so juicy and well-seasoned, and is filled with toppings. The Cuban Crisis was also delicious. I had bites of my husband's Captain Jack, Middle East, and Rosta Man, and they were all so different from one another and so tasty. I really appreciate the unique, creative flavor profiles of each because so often, tacos can all blend into one and you can't tell them a part, but looking back, I can distinctly remember the taste of each. We also got the fajitas for our baby and those were great (we ended up eating them, of course), and the elote bites are a fun little snack. The place is pretty casual, colorful, and young. The dude running the place is awesome and was so welcoming. He kept making faces at my baby, which is always appreciated. Overall, it did not disappoint and it was well worth the long drive! Go with a big appetite and try all of the things!"

3 stars because I love this place however the last few times I've came the tacos ( carne asada ) is cold . Tortillas are cold too! Service is very good. I love the bartenders and the atmosphere is nice!!Also I told them it was cold , sent it back ( I hate this) And it came back cold lol!! The meat is cold ... it's a taco I expect it to be hot, not cold. It's a taco

There was something different about this visit and it's worth a review. Usually, I visit the Gilbert Joyride, though I've been to this one several times before, I prefer the Gilbert service. The food today, WAYYYY good. After chatting with some of the other people in our party, they too agreed, the food was better than usual here. It's always good. American tacos... but everything was fresher and way more flavorful than it ever has been. Even the traditional table salsa, had a little more of a kick but still so flavorful. Cassie, was our server for a party of 10 and very attentive and helpful. What I like about this location verses others, is the outdoor seating. Through its close to the street (much closer than the Gilbert location is) the trees provide beautiful coverage from sun and sound.

This one my first time trying out this taco spot. It was really yummy! I got the Carne Asada and Cabeza Taco. The tacos was full of flavor, hella bomb xD You can get every topping and sauces you want. The red sauce was kinda spicy with the tacos but that's how I like it, Love the green sauce tho. I also got the Carne Asada Quesadilla, It was also my favorite. The meat taste rich and has a smoky flavor, soo good! Def a good spot for Taco Enthusiasts.

CRUjiente TacosThis has been on my list for some time, located in the former bar/restaurant "The Grind".Reviewed and visited by Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.Stopped by on a wim looking for something to eat around 8 pm on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday). Was crowded and was behind another couple, ironic thing was we starred at 2 empty tables for four, the couple ahead of us was seated in a half circle booth and then we were later seated in one of the 4 seat tables. Go figure. We ordered Tacos and the Queso, the only taco discount on Taco Tuesday are the hard shell tacos with $1 off.We ordered the beef taco, hard shell, which comes with cheddar jack cheese, pico de gallo and house hot sauce which I declined. Have to say, I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Also ordered the soft tacos- Korean Fried Chicken that had cabbage, pickled jalapeños, gochjang and mojo de cebollin, pretty good depends on your taste buds.Last taco that we ordered was the grilled pork belly which had fingerling potato salad, red curry, green onions and jalapeños. Was delicious but I thought it was 3rd best of the three. The Queso comprised of chorizo, roasted poblano, onion and cilantro with chips. Good combination, the dish the queso was served in was very thin, didn't seem like a whole lot of queso. The decor in the restaurant seemed exactly like it was when it was "The Grind"Besides the wait to be seated, service was good, the restaurant at 8:30 pm seemed to clear out quickly. Overall, glad I finally got to try the restaurant, if you are there to be seen, this is your place, otherwise it was a slight disappointing.

Elmers Taco, we love and only love! Located in the heart of Chandler downtown, this Taco joint has history and heritage. The place is small with outside seating. The menus are displayed on the screen. They have Taco Tuesday's. We usually go for breakfast burritos and tacos! My favorite is their el pastor tacos. The service is fast and food is served in disposable containers. Highly recommended.

Went to Blanco a few months ago before a concert in Downtown Phoenix and it was the perfect spot for some drinks and snacks before walking to the concert. We started with the chips and salsa and the queso and they were both delicious. I also ordered the chicken tinga taco which was so yummy I will definitely be ordering again. We shared the pitcher of sangria as well as "The Margarita" which was so refreshing and just what we needed! They have a ton of seating and great outdoor/indoor bar spots as well which we really enjoyed. It was great service and our server was very nice!

"What a fun place to visit, the ambience is very chill and laid-back. The staff is very friendly, and there are a lot of people that brought their families and dates and businesses. We got the barbecue sandwich. It was most delicious along with the blueberry lavender and chocolate chip waffle ice cream we were so full afterwards it was a perfect portions. We sat right by the outdoor patio next to the window and had a view of the patio and outdoors such a cute and pleasant experience will definitely be back."
"Food, service and ambiance. Delicious posole, flavorful and spicy, but not too spicy. The meatloaf sandwich also very good. Portion is generous. Perfect for lunch. The bread is a green Chile sourdough!"
"Once again, Dilla Libre Uno did an amazing job with a large order. Thanks to the amazing cooks in the back and Zach up at the front, they handled our order to perfection. The ordering process is super easy and each selection had substitution options along with any additional charges clearly noted. Our order came out on time, hot and labeled properly. And the chips that day were soooo good!!! They were light and perfectly fried. We love ordering from Dilla Libre because their menu has something for everyone. From tender carne asada, seafood, vegetarian to vegan, there is something to please everyone. And it's just fabulous food! The restaurant is full of lucha libre decor and murals. Such a great atmosphere and fun place to take visitors from out of town."
"Their birria taco is so yum!Their price is good and the food is yum.I'd always go for birria tacos, this time I ordered a regular taco- it was good, but can't beat their birria taco. Portion is good and they put good amount of meat. Yummmm :)"
"You can't be the price and quality - especially in Scottsdale! I always get a fish or shrimp taco and it never disappoints! The margaritas are cheap but absolutely delicious! At one point, the food started backliding and we didn't want to visit again. We took another chance and it's better than ever before!Get the queso. Get the margaritas. Get all the tacos! Service is fantastic. So enjoyable."
""Tacos Veganos" means exactly what you think it does - you're about to imbibe upon some vegan tacos (and other typical Mexican food staples). You place your order at the cashier and then they will call your order number when your order is ready. So that's the cue to go pick up your delicious meal!Every time I have been to Tacos Veganos, I have opted for tacos... and will continue to do so! The Al Pastor and Quesa Birria are my two favorite gluten-free "meats" and both truly addicting!I don't normally crave vegan food, but I do crave tacos... and when my vegan friends want to go to Tacos Veganos, then I will always be a "yes!"Overall rating:*****FIVE STARS*****Gluten-free rating:****FOUR STARS****"
"Don't let the small menu and Tacos Calafia scare you away as the tacos here are pretty legit. They are street tacos, so I suggest you order at least three. I decided on four care asada (other protein choices include al pastor, pollo, cabeza, and nopales) tacos with corn tortillas. While I waited for my order, I decided to stock up on their salsa to get some onions, cilantro, hot salsa verde, lime wedges, and grilled jalapenos. My tacos were tender and had decent amount of flavor to them. Definitely hit the spot! If I lived in the area, I could see myself coming here for HH and Taco Tuesdays to take advantage of their specials."
"Q: What did the taco say to the burrito?A: Where have you bean!?It's National Taco Day and Taco Tuesday! And what better way to celebrate, besides getting tacos later of course, than to talk about this delicious spot out in Mesa, AZ?Now this place ain't bad. I really loved how big the menu is. I got the Hot Cheeto Taco Plate which had two tacos for $9.99. I was mainly sold on the Hot Cheetos and nacho cheese part. I figured it would make a good TikTok video too. You're welcome, my five followers on TikTok. Haha!I also got to nibble on my friend's carne asada taco and took a chomp out of the Sonoran dog. Good stuff all around. I would love to go back and try some of their other items like the fish taco and some quesatacos con consommé.The Mexican food here is pretty (M)excellent! Two thumbs up!"
"6/29/24: OMG, was Rito's good! They won the trifecta: superb service, delightful decor, fantastic food. If you have not tried Rito's Crown location, you are missing out on mighty fine food.Long version: we wanted decent Mexican food for lunch and we definitely had that at Rito's. Off the bat, there is a large parking lot to the east of the complex. We arrived around 2:30 or so and there was also plenty of street parking. Could be a totally different story for dinnertime. It is not a huge restaurant but it is well designed on the inside (seating and decor), plus they have a nice sized patio on the west side of the building. The picture shows umbrellas; I did not notice misters. Needless to say, we opted to sit indoors to escape the heat.Chips & salsa were deposited onto the table within seconds of being seated, shortly followed by water. Bonus: they did not bring straws with the water. I did get one with the horchata, EXTRA BONUS: it was compostable! That's a great thing in my mind. The horchata? Some of the best I have had, and I have had it from many different restaurants because I love it.Our server, Missy, was pulling double duty as the bartender. Amazing. Not only was she funny and polite, but she did not even have to write down our order; kept it all in her head -- and did not screw it up. She absolutely deserved the 20% tip. The other servers were also punctual with water refills and clearing off our plates; I wonder if they receive a portion of the tip ... ?This complimentary chips were thick & crispy (they paired well w/ my side of beans). We ordered quite a bit because we wanted leftovers for dinner. The crispy beef and crispy chicken tacos were great (although I did nab some of my sisters sour cream to dab on them), and the side of beans were so good. My sister's three way burrito was huge and well seasoned. If you see her plate there is hardly any room left on it, thanks to the heaping sides of beans and rice. I highly recommend Rito's Crown location."
"Yum! Those are the toasted tacos and since it was my first time I decided to get 4 diff kinds! The horchata is very large and delicious! It's 9:40 pm on Friday night and it's nice to be under an old "gas station" patio with bright string lights and tables."
"Gordos has become my new street taco addiction. First Class friendly, welcoming service, that's quick & easy. You place your order, take a seat & when your food is ready it's delivered to your table. Gordos tacos are fresh, multiple variety of chicken, beef, pork or shrimp taco choices, good chicken enchiladas, delicious taquitos, fresh fluffy rice, whole seasoned pinto beans/refried beans, chips/salsa/guacamole & amazing juices, like watermelon & cucumber lime. True AUTHENTIC Mexican food. There is a small seating area inside, no outside seating, clean bathroom, plenty of parking in a small corner shopping center that has a delicious dessert shop & pie shop next to Gordos. Enjoy Gordos for Taco Tuesday :)"
"My wife and I got Bonitas via delivery last night and judging from the rest of the reviews, I really wish we had gone into the restaurant or at the very least gotten takeout ourselves. Don't get me wrong. The food was good, but when you've got your food held hostage in a styrofoam container being driven lazily around the city by an Uber Eats driver - it's not the restaurant, it's the delivery.I went with the bean/cheese burrito + taco combo. After the hot food is placed in the styrofoam delivery container and then wrapped up tightly in a plastic bag and then driven casually from Point A to Point B by the Uber Eats driver, the food is essentially continuing to steam itself in the container. This made the taco fall apart when I attempted to pick it up. It made the rice soggy. It made the tortilla of my burrito feel chewy. I don't think this is any fault of Bonitas. I'm sure the food would have appeared fresher and tasted fresher had we eaten in vs. gotten delivery. All in all, I'll likely be back to try Bonitas again. I want to give them a fair shot as since they've gotten a lot of positive reviews, I'm blaming this mediocre experience on the fact that we had our dinner delivered."
"A Hidden Gem of Jamaican Cuisine in PhoenixTopnotch Island Flavor Kitchen in Phoenix is a culinary treasure trove waiting to be discovered. A spontaneous visit for a quick work lunch turned into a delightful culinary journey that left my coworker and me utterly impressed. The explosion of flavors in every dish we tried was simply phenomenal, showcasing the true essence of Jamaican cuisine. What truly elevated our experience was the warm hospitality of the owner, who graciously guided us through the menu, especially since it was our first time trying Jamaican food. Their kindness and passion for their cuisine made our visit even more memorable. Topnotch Island Flavor Kitchen is indeed a top-tier destination for those seeking authentic Jamaican flavors in Phoenix."
"One of my top go-to places when I am in the mood for tacos. One of the things that has always stood out to me was them having a nopal option. They also have a good michelada mix. The line moved pretty quickly for a weekend and there wasn't a lot of people so we were able to get a table right away. They have a great selection of sauces and other toppings. I appreciate them adding a space to grab grilled onions instead of having to ask every time!"
"I searched for tacos and this place popped up with many stars and highly recommended. I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. The birria ramen was what drew me in. It was awesome, the noodles were a nice addition to the super flavorful birria consume. I added some of their hot sauce to the mix and it was great! The hot sauce was so flavorful I ended up drinking it before my food came out, seriously!I also got a carne asada street taco on a flour tortilla. That was also really good. They come plain and the salsa bar has chopped onions, cilantro, lime, and of course salsa! A few varieties but I only tried hot, it rocked!I'm not from around here but if I were, I would be a local at Leo's! Give'm a shot!"
"Full of flavor and portion sizes are huge!!! The service was so friendly and fantastic. It's a small, authentic atmosphere with great food and service. Their brunch menu is awesome. We shared a Bloody Mary and a spicy margarita! Definitely ask to see their infused vodka selection! So so many choices! We hiked north mountain and then enjoyed brunch here and will make this place a favorite spot for sure!"
"Came here directly from the airport, prior to the hotel, had to see the hype around the birria ramen, and it did not disappoint. The birria ramen is to die for, the right amount of oil, cilantro, cebolla, and like on the side, with massive chunks of birria. I got the combo with the ramen and 2 birria tacos, the birria tacos were good, not the best I've had, but solid good tacos. If I make it back to this spot I'm definitely trying the tortas, the pics online for the tortas look divine. On Tuesdays they do $2 street tacos, which is a great deal. I remember the days when tacos were only $1.50 at the taco truck lolGreat aguas frescas, the jamaica was the best Jamaica I had in a while!"
"Great tacos and salsa bar too. I hate when there's no salsa bar, and this one has salsas, radishes and pickled onions. They also have keto tacos which is a bonus. The carne asada and birria are both delicious. I've wanted a taco place I liked in this area of town, and this is it. I'll definitely eat here again."
"I came in because I was telling people about how awesome this place was yesterday and I decided to stop in today. Today, I had a corn carne asada mulita because they are 15% off on Wednesday's. The gentleman at the counter was again so friendly and helpful, Love this place!"
"Definately recommendThis is my new go to spot for quick and tasty Mexican food in Surprise. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, the service is fast, and the food is tasty. On this visit we shared a, chorizo burrito, carnitas tacos, crunchy beef tacos, beef tamales, and chips and salsa. Everything was really good. The meats were lean and seasoned perfectly, the chips were crispy and thin, and the salsa had just the right amount of kick. I think my favorite was their ground beef crunchy tacos. They diffently don't scrimp on the filling. All the tacos were full of meat. I could use a little more spicy taco seasoning in the meat and the shells were nice and crispy. Everything was made to order and served hot.If you're looking for tasty Mexican food, stop in, you won't be"
"Very large and tasty carne asada burrito... The green salsa is drinkable it is SO good. The carne asada bowl is also nice and comes in a fried tortilla bowl. Friendly service and nice ambiance for a taqueria."
"Tacos this style are common in the area but hard to execute. This location hits the mark and will be my go-to. Love the carne asada and the vibes. Staff very friendly and prices are good.Made it just in time for happy hour and got 2 for 1 margaritas. For 7 bucks can't beat it and the chamoy and Tamarind straw put it above and beyond.I ordered 3 tacos and went back for more, fortunately they are very quick to turn around and I didn't wait long for the second order."
