"Found this food truck and I was pleasantly surprised of the food quality the amazing service and the area it was setup. It was at a very nice park in Avondale and the sun was just beginning to set and last night there was a nice breeze. Me and my wife ordered the carne asada taco plate which is 3 tacos rice and beans. And they offer corn or flour tortillas but also hand made to order corn tortillas that will melt in your mouth. The carne was cooked and spiced to perfection and their salsa's are to die for!"
"We were shopping nearby and decided to order food to-go from Maguro one chilly evening. I called ahead and placed an order for sushi, a veggie ramen, and a tonkotsu ramen. Arrived within 15 minutes. The place was busy, it looked packed. The staff was friendly and helpful. My order was waiting for me when I arrived. I was in and out in minutes. Though the food smelled really good, we exercised some patience and waited until we got home to open it.I was impressed by their ramen packaging. It came in a big bowl with two compartments: one for the broth and one for the veggies and protein. The broth was still warm even after a 20-minute drive. We immediately devoured its contents. My veggie ramen was tasty and satisfying. The portion was pretty generous, too. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. We were both very pleased with our choices!"

"Love JINYA! It was a great place for myself my toddler and my Vegan friend. Let's start with the Vegan menu, as a non Vegan it was Fire!!! That was also the word used by my friend. You can't go wrong with their Ramen or Impossible Tacos. We didn't try the other items but these two were huge wins. Loved the non vegan menu as well, Ramen, crispy chicken was amazing! The service and staff were great and attentive. They have an outside patio so if the sun isn't too hot it's a great place to dine."
"My friend who loves ramen decided we needed to try this place. After eating there for the first time, I would say it is pretty average as far as ramen places go. The service was a little...well let's just say I think he was new to serving. He had to be reminded to get things a few times. And he was the only one serving, although there were only a half dozen tables filled. He tried hard. I'll give him that.We all got ramen, so I don't know how their poke is. The ramen was average. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was at a spice level of 1 (where's the heat!) on my spice scale. Very disappointing. It was good traditional ramen, but nothing special. We probably won't come back here because there are a few other ramen places that are better. Good food. Just not great."
"Nice bowls. 2 proteins (spicy salmon, and spicy tuna), base of half salad and half rice, 3 sauces (house, spicy ponzu, honey mustard mayo) plus all of the toppings was $17."
"We were in the area shopping and happened to come across Echo Sushi. We stopped to order couple things. We had sashimi salad and calamari to share. The calamari was really crispy and delicious. It was already salty so didn't really need the accompanying dipping sauce. The sashimi salad had a pleasant dressing on it so we really didn't need soy sauce/wasabi for it. For the price we paid, it came with good amount of sashimi, however, not premium fish/cuts we hoped for.Overall decent place. I saw some ramen dishes coming out of the kitchen and those looked delicious. If you're in the area, give it a try."
"Where Allergies Bow, Sake Soars, and Flavors Flourish!Step into Bisutoro and bid adieu to dairy dilemmas! They not only catered to my dairy aversion flawlessly but did so with pizzazz. The drinks? The omakase sake flight steals the spotlight. The other drinks were good, but not super fantastic. They seemed to lack the main ingredient...alcohol. But let's talk food: their steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare, burst with flavor, while their miso cod, swimming in broth, was downright heavenly.Yet, it was the service that truly wowed. Like culinary fairy godparents, they anticipated my every need with flair.Bisutoro isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary experience where allergies vanish, sake reigns supreme, and flavors dance on your palate. I would definitely come back and even make a reservation for the sushi bar seating for another type of experience."
"Yummy ramen at an affordable price! Small and casual restaurant with limited parking near ASU. Kind service.Ordered the Yatai Ramen and it was pretty good. Not super amazing but for $11 it's hard to beat! Tonkatsu broth was good and not too heavy like I've had at other places.Husband got the combo which comes with ramen and an additional entree for $15. Good value and you'll def be full."
"Excellent hotpot! The meat quality is very good. The broths are made from scratch! I absolutely love the sauces to dip the meats into. They have an assortment of meats and veggies. The crispy chicken is really good too. Love this place."
"Finally came in because it looked slow. At 6:15 p.m.!There's a self order kiosk, two actually. It's simple to operate.Ramen bowls are tasty and hefty portions, you could share these entrees. My BYOB was ordered with Teriyaki chicken and the pieces ranged in size from bite size to pieces that would require several bites. It was nest to concoct my own creation and I sorta ended up with a Japanese-Mexican fusion with the combo of spicy miso, Jalapeño, cilantro, corn.Fountain Soda are Coke products and there are free refills. They do offer other drink options, but no beer, wine and such. The restaurant is roomy with plenty of seating including single seating options against the wall.Fun and creative artwork on wall.In the mood for soup, give this place a try. From plain to spicy, the options are YUMMY."
"We had to walk through a strange gusty sandstorm to get here from our Airbnb. I literally had sand in my hair, eyes and mouth. That's Tucson for ya. Craving some Japanese food, I'm glad we found this place. We were greeted by a lovely hostess that was also our waitress. She was extremely attentive and came by often. We wanted a super light dinner so my son ordered an assortment of sushi. I wanted an eel and cucumber roll that was not on the menu. I appreciate that the sushi chef was able to make it for me upon request. I was surprised that it came rolled in brown rice. It was actually delicious. We all enjoyed the steamed edamame as well. Great spot in downtown Tucson. Ambience offers that sexy chic vibe."
"First, consider this review is coming from a total GRINGO, but I have lived in Phoenix all my life and I learned long ago, if you want authentic Mexican food, you're going to have the best luck hitting places like this. What I mean by "places like this" is, a.) a Mexican owned business run by la familia; c.) the server doesn't speak English very well; c.) most or all of the signage is Spanish; and d.) you're the only white person there because the area and storefront scares the gringos that grew up with too much white privilege - That's right, I said it. Those are the people that just drive by and miss out on true cultural greatness. In my experience, the more of those boxes you can check, the better the food. This place seems more focused on sweets and treats, which I had none, so I can't review around that. I was here for ramen and birria tacos. First, the ramen was fantastic. You get a side of limes, onions, cilantro, salsa and cabbage. It's a serving big enough to share and I enjoyed it very much. Of course, I used it to dip my birria tacos! The birria tacos were good, not great. However, my personal preference are birria tacos oozing with queso, cooked longer with more browning and crispiness, and with the tortillas dipped in the birria consommé before griddling. You can see by my photos these aren't like that, but they are good, traditional birria tacos and I'm not going to deduct them because of a personal preference. And though it would be an easy target, I'm not going to deduct them for location, storefront architecture, interior design or handicapped accessibility. Frankly, more people need to recognize "places like this" wouldn't likely exist if they had to follow those standards. I come here for the authentic food and to support entrepreneurs brave enough to risk starting a minority owned business. Best of luck to you Neveria Y Taqueria!"

My family loves to try out new food trucks, especially tacos. We found this food truck on someone's post on Instagram and I'm sure glad we made the trip to Avondale! We loved it so much, we brought our kids to the park just so we can have an excuse to get tacos, lol. From the hand made tortillas to the rice and beans. We tried every meat option and to our surprise, they were all so good. It's rare to find a taco restaurant let alone a food truck to offer such great options! The loaded nachos are also a must! And they are LOADED! The container was so heavy from all of the toppings and birria. They are not stingy by any means. The kids keep begging to go back for more tacos. We plan to!

This place is fantastic!! Tried this on a whim because I was craving sushi, and was not disappointed in the least bit. I've been here twice for their lunch special. A hot bowl of miso soup with 3 rolls for $16! Such a deal! Service is extremely fast and attentive. We seated ourselves, and our waitress came immediately after. Very small spot, and very cleanThis is definitely a hidden gem!

Really good ramen! One of the best I've had here in phoenix. I originally went to the one in Gilbert, but this one is much closer to me. Definitely worth a try for ramen lovers out there! I just wish the egg was more of a soft boiled egg. It was a bit over cooked for a ramen egg.

Great service, and yummy food. Went there twice and the food and service was consistent. The poke bowl was the best I've had in AZ so far.

Good place for a "poke bowl" mainland style, meaning all the salad goodies and decent fish. $20 for a large bowl, 2 proteins and tax/tip. A one man show today on a Saturday afternoon. A great option for a poke bowl in the area. West side is always limited, so please go support local small mom and pop shops like this to keep them around. Fast, clean, and consistent. We've been here a couple times to get our poke fix. God knows we need more ethnic food, non-chain on this side!! Great stop-in after a Spring Training game at Peoria Sports Complex.

Stopped by after the AAE Arizona Cup Qualifying Round with my son so it was after 7pm. Was able to get a two top table easily. We both had the fried rice. Mine was the shrimp pictured and he had the chicken. We spilt the roll. The portion of fried rice was huge and was really all I needed. I did try the roll and it was good but just a nice large amount of rice with a lot of the small shrimp which made it easier than having the large shrimp. They use black rice which is delicious. Yes it looks strange but a more dynamic complex flavor. This is a local strip mall restaurant with excellent food. Some of the reviews mention small portions but the pix do not show that. Some mention the service but this is a small family run establishment. The lady is direct but not rude. I am thinking some mistake her directness as being rude but this is our second time visiting and we had no issues. Some reviews mention the price but inflation is real added to the high minimum wage of Arizona I don't not find the costs out of line. Two eating here was about the same as what we spent at the other evening meals on this trip. We also feel we got more food than a couple of the nights. I was in pleasant misery from eating too much. This is the second year eating here and if we come back next year we plan on eating here again.

We stopped here for a late lunch on Saturday while in the Phoenix area for the weekend. It's located in a really nice shopping center on Camelback. Because we went in at an odd hour, they were not very busy at all. We sat at the bar and asked if they would turn the TV to the golf tournament and the lady at the bar happily obliged. We started off with drinks. A glass of Sauvignon Blanc for me and the Black Dragon (a take on an Old Fashioned, but with Japanese Whiskey and black sesame seeds) for the Hubs. He really liked his drink - he said it was a unique twist but very good.We ordered the pork Bao bun, but they were out, so we settled for the Bird bun. It was very good. I ordered the chili sesame tuna sushi roll, which was pretty amazing. The Hubs ordered the Bluefin Dragon. His was really good as well.Service was good but hard to tell if that's the norm because we were literally the only people in there for a little while. Nice vibe in the restaurant. Sleek and clean. Overall a good experience. I would go back when back in town.

I've been wanting to visit Yatai for some time now and glad that I finally did. The food was great and the prices and fabulous for the quality and value. I initially was going to opt for the teriyaki, then switched my mind to ramen to only change it to the katsu curry rice. It was a great decision! The katsu was fried perfectly and was tasty. The curry was also good and sat on a bed of rice so all the flavor soaked up nicely. I was perfectly satisfied at the end of the meal without feeling overly full or stuffed. The establishment is on the smaller side. There's nothing wrong with it but just something to be aware of. Also, they are only opened on the weekdays. I'm looking forward to trying the ramen next time!

"I was here around 6:30PM. You walk in, seat yourself, and then scan for the menu at your table, and then self-order on your phone. You can pay on your phone when you finish- or even when you are ordering. We were greeted and given water once we sat down. Pretty casual atmosphere with low and high top tables. They do have a waitlist available on Yelp. And they are open until 9:30PM.We ordered the Samurai Ramen with shrimp tempura and an extra egg and the Miso King Ramen with chicken casu, crispy tofu and bok choi. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and it was nice and hot. Both dishes looked delicious and they were. Fantastic broth in both ramens with large, fresh shrimp. The eggs were done perfectly. We did not order drinks but they do offer some alcoholic beverages. For two Ramen soups with extras, tax and tip, it was $53.81. The Ramen itself was around $16.00, a little high for ramen, but it is a restaurant on Mill. And once they charge for extras- bok choi is $1.20, shrimp tempura is $4.50, an extra egg is $1.20, it does add up. That being said, I would go again- just not everyday."
"In our travels, we always crave asian food after eating American food for every meal. So to finish off our trip in AZ, we decided to munch on some Japanese food and Cherryblossom came up.Tekka Don - tuna sashimi bowl with sushi rice. It wasn't the best tuna sashimi bowl I had but it was still good. I was hoping for warmer sushi rice.Kitsune udon - very delicious udon and soup. It definitely hits the spot on a cool day.Service: pretty good and fast considering how busy it was."
"I mean... it was just okay. I was bummed because I wanted to walk in here and really love it! The girl behind the counter was dry, no enthusiasm whatsoever. When I asked about how the hot Cheetos roll were. She looked at me with a blah face and said "I don't know. I don't eat hot cheetos." A good host would say, not sure but it's a big hit here... or something. I guess I was just expecting much. Honestly, it's just okay to me. It's a hole in the wall type of location. Definitely nothing fancy. Just a place to pick up food from. I most likely will not be back just because I feel I can spend $60 at a better location with a bit more ambiance but it was worth the try... definitely not what our fellow yelpers reviewed though. 5 star? I'd say no"
"Been coming here for quite some time. Arrived this time at 11:30am for lunch on a Wednesday. Somewhat busy, but we were seated immediately. Quick scan of the menu QR code...and we ended up ordering what we always order, the Nishikawa Black Ramen. Bowls came out quickly and were of the usual greatness! Very tasty bowls of tonkotsu broth! Noodles were perfect, as were all the other additions. Eggs were soft boiled as we requested and were delicious! Great ramen and great service so we definitely recommend!"
"My family was craving some Hawaiian food and we decided to stop by Love Hawaiian BBQ on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking spots available. We had entered the restaurant and were the only patrons inside. The restaurant was freezing!! Even with our jackets on, it was still really cold inside! The menu had a lot of options on it such as the followingChicken:Hawaiian BBQ ChickenChicken KatsuTeriyaki ChickenOrange ChickenLemon Pepper Chicken BreastBeef:Hawaiian BBQ BeefKalbi Short RibsKalua PorkSeafood:Island White FishCrispy ShrimpAfter reviewing the menu, my family and I selected Loco Moco Chicken Katsu and Kalua pork with Rice/Mac SaladChicken Teriyaki with RiceKids Meal: BBQ BeefThe price was relatively inexpensive, approximately $45.00 for the entire order, but the portions were small. It took around 20 minutes for the entire meal to be cooked. The Loco Moco was decent. The hamburger patty was burnt and small though. The scrambled eggs and gravy was delicious. The Chicken Katsu and Kalua Pork was okay. There was a lot of breading on the Chicken Katsu. Overall, we had a good experience at Love Hawaiian BBQ."
"This place is easy to fix, plenty of parking, and good amount of seating inside and outside. The first time here, food was good, but service was ok. Had to keep asking them to refill our drinks and asked for containers to take food home. The other times have been an incredible difference, service was great. Ok, there is the run down on the food:1. Beef with green onion dumplings - perfect texture of dumping skin and well flavored beef2. Pan-fried beef with green onions Pan fried dumplings - perfect texture of dumping skin and well flavored beef3. Scallion pancake was perfect flakiness and layers with the onion greens4. Pan-fried pork buns was good, but the buns were just a tad too thick5. Golden fried bun looks a little over fried but it was very tasty6. Xiao long bao - these were good, but not the best I have had.7. Popcorn chicken - MORE PLEASE, these seasoned just perfectly and crispy8. Taiwanese three cup chicken - WOW, it was super good, flavorful9. Sweet and sour baby back ribs - these were served with love, flavor, and perfectThere are still MORE things I would love to try on their menu! I will be coming back soon!"
"It had been almost 4 years since I last dined here. We weren't too hungry so decided to grab a light bite. The menu is very different than what I remember. They offer a happy hour menu all day Monday thru Thursdays and 11:30-4 pm on Fridays. Hubs always orders spicy tuna roll $5.95, and I ordered a Halloween roll $7.95 ( shrimp salad, cucumber, masago and avocado) it was light and tasty especially with the sauce that was on the side. We also got a free order of gyoza with Yelp check in. It ended up being a very cheap lunch! The regular prices seemed very reasonable too. Service was very friendly and fast. Would definitely come again when we have a bigger appetite as I want to try their ramen and other rolls."
"Great food and service. We both got the bento boxes and with California rolls. I'll definitely go again to try new things"
"Really good and quick lunch spot when you are looking for something in the neighborhood. Service has been good every time I have come in and I can always find good options that are vegetarian."
"I enjoyed this ramen my son and I both did a custom. The spicy miso broth was not my favorite to be honest but still edible just a different taste. I got the teriyaki chicken. Which was good but after eating realized I didn't enjoy it with my ramen and should have done pork. Everything else in my ramen was delicious. My son did similarly but got the pork and loved it. The guyozas I did enjoy we got 6 and they were delicious. Overall I did enjoy my experienc e"
"Yummy ramen chain in downtown chandler. They're located in the hearty if downtown by all the restaurants. Somewhat small, so very busy. Dark, a little loud, not romantic.Great vegan options! Love their vegan ramens over the competition."
"Yutaka is a bustling Japanese restaurant, that is located in a strip mall. They pride themselves on the best ramen, let me concur, its rich broth is most flavorful, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and the pork belly fork tender. The hype is real! Delicious. A must try if you're craving a comforting bowl of ramen!"
"Amazingly delicious and inventive cocktails? Check.Fresh sushi like we live by the sea? Check.Delicious duck udon? Check. Check. Check.Great service? Yep. Check!Every drink and dish I had here was absolutely wonderful. When I got here, I was excited for the Hainese Chicken Rice - though, after trying all these dishes: it's the Duck Udon I still dream about. The Hainese Chicken Rice was good but not what I remember it to be but more of a new interpretation of it.Though, at the end of it all, everything was delicious and this is definitely a great spot. Highly recommend! Be ready to shell out the Benjamins $$ though!"
"The food was so delicious and satisfying! The service here was top notch! It is a small and inviting restaurant. The ramen bowl was big enough for my husband and I to share!"
"Ramen: Because comfort food is always souperior."Good Ramen. Good Day."We just got back from Las Vegas, where it is currently experiencing record-breaking highs, only to be welcomed back with more record-breaking highs in Phoenix. Why wouldn't I choose hot broth and curly noodles for lunch?I got the $20 Classic Ramen combo with the 4pc. fried gyoza. I also ordered some Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna on the side for good measure. While the ramen was good, it's far from being the best (or worst) in town. It's a good bowl of noodles you surely wouldn't mind purchasing and consuming, but this isn't a place I would readily suggest to a friend to try. It's a good place. The staff is friendly, the spot is clean, and you can get on the waitlist via Yelp. I wish I could give them 3.5 stars."
"Just the comfort food I needed! I got the King Pork Katsu which comes with rice, some mac salad, something similar to cold slaw, radish and miso soup. The katsu was thin but delicious with the sauce. It was pretty pricey for thin meat ($16.99) but I was able to take home and ate it for 2 meals. The miso soup was slightly above room temperature so it was disappointing. The food court is popping! Pretty difficult to find a table so you'll need to keep an eye out."
"Domo arigato! An unassuming, walk-up, takeaway type place with a few deli-style booths for seating. An an elder Japanese gentleman is running the front of the restaurant. He will take your order, complete with traditional Japanese expressions and acknowledgments. Your food is served on a cafeteria tray, but somehow still doesn't lack presentation. When you're done, you pay at the counter.Everything we had was delicious! When I asked how they got the crispy coating on the chicken, he bowed his head, gave me a dirt-off-the-shoulder sweep of the hand and said, "Family secret."I need to attempt their Yakitori chicken at home. I have never had chicken that way until today and now I'm hooked!"
"I have passed by this place many times, but finally found two friends that have not been yet to join me. The other friend has already been but she decided to come assist us newbies. I all shared dishes so we can taste as much as we can. Chicken Karaage: Crispy, marinated chicken pieces deep-fried to golden perfection, served with a creamy dipping sauce - Yum and fried to perfection!Fried Tofu: Crispy tofu cubes served with a side of savory dipping sauce - These were perfect.Wagyu Beef Sizzling Rice Plate: wagyu beef, rice, edamame beans, corn, garlic butter, green onion, fried garlic in their house sauce - It was ok but not too special.Chicken Sizzling Rice Plate: Sizzling chicken served over rice edamame beans, corn, garlic butter, green onion, fried garlic in curry sauce. - Ok, WOW this was very good! The service was good, but they did not use the cute server machine that day. The fire alarm in the middle of dinner was confusing. Was not sure if I was suppose to get out and go or not. The staff told us it is ok, just sit."
"Our party of three headed to Nanaya on a recent Saturday night for dinner...The fact that there were plenty of open tables during prime time should have been a sign, but we wanted to give it a try, so we stayed. Service was friendly enough and the appetizers we had (shishito peppers and edamame) were good, but the rest of the meal went downhill from there. When we asked about the sushi, we learned that it is partially pre-made, hence not made fresh to order. One in our party had a shellfish allergy and the waitress could not guarantee that it would be safe to order a roll.We went with signature dishes for our main courses (black cod and tofu) and all found them too saucy and underwhelming. Prices are expensive for what you get.We skipped dessert but we overheard the table next to us trying to order coffee or espresso with their final course... they were told that the only option was cold brew, which seemed a bit odd. No hot coffee option? Or decaf?Sadly, with so many other dining options in the area, I don't plan to return."
"We had the pleasure of having lunch here recently. Service was excellent and prompt. The dining room was very open and comfortable. We tried their chicken karage appetizer. It was slightly overcooked but it had good flavor. We also tried their poke. The sauce was amazing, but portion size was small with very little fish and topping. Our favorite was their black garlic tonkatsu ramen. This dish was excellent; we contemplated ordering another one but decided to wait for next time. Everything from broth to perfectly cooked noodles was what made this dish exceptional. The egg was marinated perfectly, slightly sweet with creamy yolk; yum! The pork was also delicious and it even had slight charring. Absolutely the best! Will return just for this dish alone. Highly recommend!!"
"My family and I went to this location last week Thursday after 6 PM. Our daughter found this location via TikTok and Her. The food was very good. This location is very small, but they do have parking behind the restaurant and have a partner restaurant next-door for sushi and drinks as well. We had to wait about an hour or so for our table to be available because they were very busy . After we were seated, our server was amazing and the manager kept checking on our table as well and thanking us for the patience while we were waiting for our table of seven. We start order with chicken Ramen with scrambled egg instead of a soft egg to pork Ramen, the fried rice dish, the calamari fries and a catfish dish as well. All of our food had large portions very filling and delicious. Only complaint is the fried rice lack seasoning and needed more flavor. Also, the sodas come in cans with the glass at the table with ice so no free refills, unfortunately. We will definitely be back again and Her they have certain specials throughout the week which we would love to enjoy ."
"Update: Menu has been updated! We haven't been here in some time but my daughter wanted to go for her birthday. We were seated promptly and missed the dinner rush that arrived shortly after us. Our waitress came with water while we browsed through the menu. We noticed that it said Hawaiian bbq and ramen. We asked our waitress and she had explained that it was only about a week that they had started the bbq. My husband and I were equally happy because we had thought it was a little warm out for ramen. He ended up ordering kalbi (short ribs), I ordered bbq chicken and fried shrimp. My daughters ordered ramen and spam musubi's. We all enjoyed our food and the girls even ordered a 2nd kids ramen to share because they loved it and still a little hungry. Everything came out quickly and hot. We'll be back if and when we're in the area. The Hawaiian bbq was a great addition!! If you haven't been yet, you need to stop by."
"Delicious ramen here at Origami Ramen! I tried their spicy ramen and it was creamy and delicious. Not to mention the plate presentation was 10/10 for the main dish and appetizer. The fire cracker dumplings 12/10! Definitely try this appetizer if you get the chance, you won't regret. The food overall was delicious and exactly what I was looking for in the cold weather. The service is quick and easy. They have a QR code you scan to view the menu and the. you also order on there to check out. The server was helpful with questions and kind. Love the anime themed style inside- super fun."
