"Looking for a birthday treat after brunch. Our original destination is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were passing the Biltore shopping park and FROST popped into my head! We hadn't been in a while. Marissa helped us. I knew what were were looking for was gluten free. Corn is a new no no and I knew Gelato always has corn no matter where we go. NOT FROST'S!!! They actually make it on site and Maeiasa was sharing that some were even just water, sugar and fruit based! Definitely worth more than 5 stars. She still warned us to eat at own risk just in case she wasn't familiar with an unknown. We had medicine with us, so we gave it a try. Our little one chose the strawberry. No coughing or breathing issues. Fresh, fruity, quenching heaven! Oh the joy we had. My mom loved the lemon, and she was so impressed. It is a bit far, but totally worth the drive for a birthday treat. If our birthdays weren't in the summer, and us living so far, I would totally get one of their cakes. 2 layers of Gelato. You may choose a different flavor for each layer. It comes with a sheet cake in-between. You may order it without. I think I will order a cake and just eat it on location. Best place for Gelato in Arizona for our family. Cleanliness, ingredients, and flavor!"
"Now they have gelato with the booze! I could taste the bourbon and the whiskey. Since I want to try both flavors, I got the medium cup. They also offer various healthy fruit gelato. There are seats outside that we sat and watching tourists walking around the old town."
"This is one of those boutique gelato places when it's hot outside and you're craving a snack, then any mouthwatering treat at any price might satisfy. It's a cute, bright place with a lot of flavor choices. I searched over the options and would have taken several. I went with a medium cup of lemon almond. My better half went with a deep chocolate delight. Both were excellent, rich and flavorful.OK, it did quench the thirst for a cool snack, but also set us back over $18. for two cups. That could amount to a lot of better quality ice cream at the grocery store, but, hey it did satisfy the need of the moment.Clean, friendly atmosphere and I'd go back, yet there are other gelato places to try as well in touristy Old Town Scottsdale."
"Gelato with ingredients from Italy?Ok, you have my attention. After hearing about Frost Gelato from a favorite Yelpie, I knew had to try while in Scottsdale. Well , service couldn't have been any better as they let us try several different samples till we settled on our choices .1 taste and I realized why Gelato is so much better than ice cream for you since has to have more than 10% butterfat to be called ice cream.Well, Frost Gelato has 8% butterfat and 100% better taste.Choice: peach gelato that was light and fruity and not overly sweet .Pumpkin Gelato was a seasonal favorite that delicious and not overpowering. It would be perfect on a hot Arizona day. Even though we were lucky with the weather.Plenty of shopping in the area so parking can be tricky. Will return next time in Scottsdale and hope they bring more locations to Htown."
"Wife and I came here for the gelato and it was yummy. Service was friendly. We opted to sit out on their patio. Where we managed to fine one clean table. Area definitely could use a clean up. Lil surprised how unkept it was as slow as they were."

This place was a lifesaver in the crazy AZ heatwave! I loved the coloring of this place and there was a ton of flavors to choose from. There are a lot of seating options that still keep you semi-away from the long line that's always formed. Staff is also very friendly about letting you try a bunch of flavors before you make your decision. While the gelato wasn't the best gelato I've ever had, it was still pretty good depending on what flavor you got. Luckily, there are a bunch to choose from so everyone will be able to find a flavor they enjoy. I ended up getting a scoop of the Raspberry Sorbet because I loved how tart it tasted and how smooth the texture was. I was surprised that it didn't melt faster as I was walking outside in the sun. I'd come back if I was in the area, but I also wouldn't mind checking out some other dessert places since I'm not a local.

Very cute place! Excellent customer service! I had a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, and it was very good! They had crepes too. Very cute place to stop and get a snack while you walk in old town Scottsdale.

I am so in love with this place, we ended up visiting twice during our short stay. Best, freshest ingredients from Italy and super knowledgeable staff.I got 2 gelato flavors in a cup and it was a party in my mouth. So creamy and flavorful! They make gelato all day long. This place is a must visit if you are in town! I may have to return to Scottsdale just to go to Gelato Cimmino again.

A dream come true for any dessert lover. The sheer number of flavors is mind-boggling. From classic chocolate and vanilla to unique options like pistachio and sea salt caramel, there's something for everyone. But the best part? Their vegan options. They have a ton of them, and they're just as delicious as the dairy ones. The vegan mango and pineapple flavors are fresh and fruity, perfect for a hot day. It's clear they put a lot of effort into making sure everyone can enjoy their gelato, regardless of dietary preferences.Every visit feels like a new adventure. I always leave with a smile, a happy stomach, and a craving to come back for more. If you're looking for the best gelato experience with a wide variety of options, Frost Gelato is the place to be!

We popped in here on a Monday evening for a surprise date night. I mean, who doesn't like pizza and gelato on a beautiful autumn evening? When we walked in, we were told to sit anywhere. Eventually the one server came by and gave us a menu and brought us waters. The whole meal was a bit slow, but she was working there by herself so I don't blame her for that, especially considering she also had tables outside too. We both ordered a drink and pizzas (margherita and spicy pepperoni) and they were both very good with perfectly crispy crust. They offer the chili oil, which is great. After I finished my wine, we were ready for gelato to finish off the evening. The lemon and raspberry flavors were excellent. Honestly, I had been to Gelato Spot way back when they were located at Hayden and Via de Ventura, as well as back when they were in super North Phoenix. Their gelato is still just as good now as it was back then.

First time in. It's been awhile since I've tasted something so authentic. I was sold after the first bite. Tried the Donna Di Cuori - could taste all of the flavors and I was happy there was more arugula than the meat. I'll be back to try other flavors of sandwiches and the gelato.

"Such a yummy spot. Got some gelato. There's one that's with vanilla and chocolate chips in it but they sell out, quick. I got 2 flavors, sea salt and chocolate. They also have cake and it looks good. They also have sandwiches and it looks yummy."
"A dessert stop for freshly made ice cream. Cute shops with some tables and chairs. Nice staff. Ordered a coffee ice cream cup and enjoyed it. Creamy texture and true taste flavor. Free street parking and WiFi."
"La Michoacana Plus - Phoenix6544 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix AZ 85033June 19, 2022, Sunday - 5:15 for a sweet treat4 AdultsAtmosphere - 5 stars Food - 5 starsService - 5 starsBackground - After our Father's Day meal I got to surprise the kids with a sweet treat. Plus we are going international, this is stop number two of two.Atmosphere - Take a step into a Mexican restaurant. The colors pop in this frozen treat palace. Large display freezers line the south side of the place. Drooling over all the treats, labeled in Spanish with a smaller font in English. The font was still large enough for this old guy.Food - I have been wanting to try a Paletas for a long time. It was worth the wait and I will be trying more in my future. I had the gooseberry, I do love berries and this one did not disappoint. I did eat it a little to fast and caused a brain freeze to occur.Service - I was greeted in Spanish. I had no clue what she said, but I responded in English, and after that we were good. We were the only ones in the place that was speaking English. The staff was very patient with us, as it was the first time here and there are so many choices.Future - Everyone loved their treats. So I could see coming back here again."
