"Family owned donut shop. Someone had given us some of their donuts, and we knew we needed to order them for a small get together we were having. When we went to pick up our order donuts were just being being finished. We were a little early, and appreciated that they wanted us to have the freshest product. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We ordered too many donuts. Thankfully these donuts for still fresh the next day. Quality donuts. Filled donuts are plentifully filled. Raspberry filled donuts tased like raspberry candy. Lemon filled donuts were my favorite. Lemon filling was on the tart side. It reminded me of a lemon tart or lemon meringue pie. Donuts themselves are fluffy. Glaze is light. A sweet product that isn't cloyingly sweet."

"I don't know if I've ever eaten something faster? Wow! I've been wanting to try Dupe Loops out for a while now after seeing them on IG. We are in Scottsdale today for the Alice in Wonderland Experience, and they happened to be park right where the experience takes place. I got the deer in the headlights donut, and my husband got the toaster strudel donut. They were so delicious! "I stopped by today around 12:30pm- the owner or employee was in the back making a sandwich. I waited about 10 minutes before being tended to. The dining area is small but quaint and clean. Though tonight they were open, so i pulled into the drive thru.This is when I realized that it was a combo store of both Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins. I was completely unfamiliar with their options and cars were lining up quickly behind me so Wylie on the speaker box told me her personal favorite and I went with it, along with of a maple bar for that extra bit of sugar that time of night. Super friendly and patient and she threw in some donut holes for me to try as a extra treat. I will be back to explore more options here, but so far 10/10"

Tried all the new ones except the powdered one today. Dole Whip was so good, just a hint of pineapple and not overly sweet which I love. Strawberry Crunch had a nice artificial strawberry taste to it, not in a bad way, but in a nostalgic sort of way, loved it! Mail e Butter w/ Pecans this one could have been my favorite because of the candied pecans but the maple butter was toooo sweet, it overpowered everything else. Smores similar to the malt from last month so if you liked that one, you'd like this one! And lastly Animal Circus, this was a good basic donut, I enjoyed it, especially the crunchy sprinkles really made it fun! That's a perfect one for the kids. "I used to stop by this donut shop all the time because it was my customers favorite. So glad they turned me on to the ham & cheese croissants. This place always has fresh donuts. On todays visit I had the ham, cheese & jalapeño croissant, it was bigger then my hand, fluffy, buttery, crusty goodness. Super messy to eat but don't let that stop you from getting one for now and another for later. You'll definitely need to vacuum the car if you eat it on the go (def worth it tho!).They also sell croissant sandwiches & boba drinks. I'd given up on Arizona donuts. Everything I've tried in a year of living here has been super average at best. "But it's just a donut," you say. No. It's not. So, a great donut is a delicate balance. A great donut is pillowy-soft, but just firm enough to hold its shape. A crappy donut is really firm and sometimes stiff. A great donut MELTS in your mouth. A crappy donut has to be chewed. A great donut has dough that has a medium structure. Not too many holes, not too light, and not too dense. It HAS to be just right. Also, a great donut leaves no greasy aftertaste. It's a clean finish. A crappy donut leaves the roof of your mouth coated in a slightly greasy film. A crappy donut tastes like used oil. A great donut is dropping into a fryer where the oil is changed every few days, and the oil is high quality. Canola oil, for example, used to be a truck lubricant. So eating a donut fried in old canola oil is what you get at a hospital cafeteria or a crappy donut place. And last, a great donut has FLAVOR. It's not just sugar dough. There should be a slightly vanilla tinge in every bite. Not too much though. And it has to be good quality vanilla, not imitation vanilla. A great donut, then, is not super cheap. Gold ingredients, fresh oil, not letting them get stale, and authentic, fresh ingredients are the secrets of great donuts. It's rare you find all of those at a local donut place. Express Donuts has them all. Try them all because you won't go wrong. Glazed, maple, old fashioned...whatever. All fresh and tasty and perfectly doughy. Oh, and very fresh. There is NOTHING so offensive as a 3-day old donut. They should be outlawed. What one eats at a grocery store or Dunkin Donuts is a glob of chemicals, formed into a dough and stuffed with plastics, fake flavors, and preservatives, dropped into a vat of 15-day old industrial lubricant, then covered in glaze and left on the tray for up to 4 days or until the dude with the corporate polo shirt buys them for the office at half-price so he can impress his boss, who doesn't know the difference between a plastic lard-cake and a work of art. Express donuts... take it from me: darned good donuts. 5 stars worth."
