"Wow....I'm impressed! First, the name says it all, that's not false advertising. The burger was giant! I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in by the old diner feels...loved that aspect. Both employees were great and super friendly, always a plus in my book. The burgers are made to order and grilled on a flat top. I went with the cheese burger and added green chilies. This burger just hit different....in a very good way...I think it was the cheese and the way it was cooked. Whatever voodoo science that was involved, I want more! Oh...and really good fries. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm coming back...probably with some friends. Super like this place!"

"Our family and I went to this location yesterday on Saturday, June 8 a little after 5 PM. There are a lot of people at this location because it just opened up in the past few days and once the hostess takes the party down, she will and put your phone number and text you when your table is ready and you will also have to confirm your table when you receive a message via text messageWere able to stand outside by the cool spritzer until our table is ready and we had to wait about 30 minutes or so for a party at three which was fine because they were very busy. Once seated, our waitress was very attentive, friendly kind, and I even asked her for suggestions and she went down the suggestions with us and even explained that they had to try items before starting to work. We order all the steak House burger, two well done and one with pink we chose fries instead of chips but just a tip there is a charge of $2.50 to add fries, sweet potato or salad to your order instead of the traditional chips that come with the food which we found out after our bill came. Chips must be the signature with a burgers, but for any sandwiches that we have we prefer fries over chips. There meals range from $16 and up depending on what you order. For the price point fries &Or option for chips should be available w/o any up-charge for fries unless it's an speciality like sweet potato fries. They have a special of the month which is Modelo and we also saw they have happy hour specials Monday through Friday 3 PM to 6 PM. We would love to take advantage their happy hour specials one day soon. Overall, great service, great ambience, and multiple of TVs to watch any and all sports ."

"My hubby knows I love me some Mexican sushi. It's not healthy but boy is it scrumptious. I was a little disappointed on the service. Our food came out one plate at a time and their were five of us. Then when I asked the waitress for a mango margarita she told me they had no ice. I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt and ordered a sangria incase she didn't have ice. But my hubby did put her on the spot when she brought his michelada with ice in it. Then she scurried back and made my margarita. I was dumb founded and didn't apologized then handed me the margarita. We ordered a chowmein mixed with shrimp and chicken, buffalo chicken wings with fries, two ceviche tostada's and I ordered my favorite guamuchilito sushi. Along with jarritos and sprite. I give it four stars because the food was delicious and I hope to return on another visit to phoenix."

"So we decided to give this place a shot. They are socially distancing and require mask. We ordered 50 wings. Half honey hot and half mild. Mild were flavorful, honey hot were gross, they tasted as if they were soaked in honey. No heat whatsoever. What we really could not get over was the size of the wings. Super little! The staff was friendly and prices are cheap but you get what you pay for... most likely won't make a trip back."

"This location near the D Gates at the Phoenix airport was inconsistent. I recently passed through and when I saw the sign, I got in line (hey, that rhymes). Based on the one at the Atlanta airport, It was a no brainer to give this a try.On pass through 1, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onion, but they don't do onions for some reason (WTF). I ordered it cooked medium and when it came out, the burger had absolutely zero red in it, and the tomato was thick cut with a tiny diameter. The patty seemed small and the bacon wasn't crispy either so it was disappointing.On pass through 2, I ordered a burger done medium and it came out what I would call medium well, but it was much much better than the previous burger.So in this tale of 2 burgers, if they cook it right, it will be pretty great. Keep it simple as it's a good burger that doesn't need much else to make it great. If they over cook it, then it might be subpar. Also, the meat is loosely packed which is probably why it's great. They don't pound their meat into the mold like some places.I don't eat burgers that often, so when I do, I want it to be great. Based on 3 burgers I had at this chain (2 here in PHX), I'd probably stop here every time."

When asked if we had reservations I was nervous (we didn't have reservations) but we found a place at the bar without an issue and there appeared to be one or two tables available.The folks working were very friendly, only caught the name of Mike or Michael behind the bar and he was very conversational and attentive while we sat at the bar. Great beer selection on tap. I had the two darker beers on tap and they were great. They have monitors with the beer selection that's tied into Untappd.The menu has a good variety. I opted for the Beef on Weck and talked to the bartender before ordering, since I'm originally from Upstate New York. The horseradish isn't as hot as you'd get in Buffalo, N.Y. but the roll was right where it was suppose to be and the entire dish was very good. "I like this Portillo's location near SanTan Village in Gilbert. It is a 7,800 square-foot space that has a retro garage theme to it. It also has a large parking lot. Portillo's is a chain that originated in Chicago in the early 60's and are known for their Chicago-style hot dogs. There are lots of photos on the wall that pay homage to their early days. Besides their hot dogs, I love the Italian Beef with Peppers, Onion Rings, Broiled Chicken Sandwich and the Chocolate Cake Shake. I recently came here and got to try one of their new salads off their menu. My first Portillo's experience was actually in Chicago. I remember trying my first Chicago-style dog and really enjoying it. Ever since my first trip to the Windy City back in 2012, Portillo's locations have been popping up all over the Valley. We have a lot of people from Chicago that live here and lately AZ has become home to many of their restaurants. When the employees call your number, they like to do it in a rhyme over the microphone. This location also has a drive-thru."

The brewskis on tap were flavorful, the food, even the 'tortilla chips' are made here! - but literally all of their menu items were a sophisticated surprise. This location is so tucked away in the back of this large lot that I almost didn't see it. In all honesty the only reason I did was because I drove to the end of the lot to get easier access to exit on to Anthem Way. There was no one in site and the drive thru was empty. Score for me so I could get in and out hopefully. I ordered and had my food in under five minutes. Service was ok but nothing over the top. He almost forgot part of my order until I asked. Vibe is basic as you already know if you've been to Wendy's. It's fast food so it's nothing fancy. The parking lot was clean and easy to get out to the street nearby."
