"Wow....I'm impressed! First, the name says it all, that's not false advertising. The burger was giant! I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in by the old diner feels...loved that aspect. Both employees were great and super friendly, always a plus in my book. The burgers are made to order and grilled on a flat top. I went with the cheese burger and added green chilies. This burger just hit different....in a very good way...I think it was the cheese and the way it was cooked. Whatever voodoo science that was involved, I want more! Oh...and really good fries. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm coming back...probably with some friends. Super like this place!"
"This is a great little hole in the wall..I had their Chorizo and eggs and they were perfect...the salsa was just spicy enough to enhance not drown out the taste of the food...my mom ordered the eggs scrambled with green chilies and it was awesome...my dad's sausage patties and eggs was delicious...the service was awesome our sweet waitress refilled our water cups when she found out we were getting on the road...you can not go wrong with this great place...we totally enjoyed our breakfast here."

Visit Restaurant Page"Been wanting to try this place for some time. Running pre Xmas errands in the area, so stopped by for late breakfast.Wife ordered a senior special, eggs, sausage, and 1/2 a waffle. Waffle crispy, eggs perfect, and delicious fat sausages.I had the chicken fried steak. Came with eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. Eggs were a little overdone. CFS was good, hash browns needed help. Unevenly cooked, not crispy. Nothing terrible but I've had better.Prices are reasonable, service was fine. Place seemed clean and pleasant."
"It's been a while so I figured it's time to update my review. Still great as ever. This last visit I had the garden omelette add sausage and ham. The portion was extra large with the add ins. I was so hungry I didn't snap a photo op but just know I highly recommend. I personally always sit on the patio as the inside is a bit cramped and loud for my preference. Service is quick and reliable at every visit. Great little breakfast spot."
"This downtown Tempe cafe is a great spot to grab a meal. It is located a bit out of sight, near the roundabout in 6th, just rest of Mill. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but there are garages nearby. We were lucky and found a meter spot on the street on 7th.The decor is light and bright, with lots Edison lights hanging from the ceiling. There is a white leather seating area, perfect for those coffee dates. There is greenery around the bar. I only saw two people working, but it was quiet and it was fine . Our server 2 friendly and helpful, and have some advice on the food We had the fried chicken sandwich, which came with house-made pickles and chipotle aioli. We also had the Mediterranean chicken sandwich with sun dried tomato aioli. Both were served with fantastic fries. We will definitely return to this cafe. It's a breath of fresh air!"
"Met up with my dear friend for some chat and food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was awesome, food was awesome, and love it! The Oink Cafe French Toast was the best French toast ever! She even offered us beverages to take with us! The sausage patties were good, scrambled eggs, I added an extra egg."
"Such a beautiful spot. Got a mocktail, it was okay, tasted like sunny D a bit. Started with the whipped ricotta and we were not a fan. Not sure if it was the pesto or herbs but it wasn't good. The bolognese and margarita pizza was good. The server was nice."
"Great for a quick bite I read the mixed reviews and was a little hesitant. However, I decided to give Burros & Fries a try and I have, no complaints. This place is delicious. We arrived a little after the lunch rush and received our food quick and with good service. On this visit we shared the shrimp quesadilla, shredded beef flautas, rice, beans and agua de melon. All our entrees were really tasty. Everything was fresh and served hot. Definitely recommend Burros and Fries for a quick Mexican dinner, a much better alternative to other fast food Mexican places."
"My husband and I had a spontaneous date night on a recent Saturday and decided to go meet another couple for dinner / drinks at Luna by Giada...I'd been in once before for a hard hat tour before the restaurant opened, so I was prepared for the beautiful ambiance, chic decor, fun vibe, etc... but seeing it in action proved even better than I expected. The service was attentive and friendly (thanks to our waiter, Paul, and many staff members who refilled our drinks, stopped by to check on how we were enjoying the food, etc... )I enjoyed one of their speciality cocktails, a Caesar Salad with Shrimp, a taste of steak, and some shared sides of broccolini and asparagus. We skipped dessert and headed up to the 7th floor bar for an after dinner drink and people watching... it was quite entertaining!I cannot speak to the bill as our friends picked up the tab, but I'm sure it was extremely pricey. All in all, this place is worth a visit. I'm sure it will continue to attract a high end business crowd in addition to locals looking for a quality meal."
"I work nearby and have relied on Phx Eats for breakfast and lunch many times - always good (love the One Egg Wonder sandwich), but today, today was awesome. Their special was grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was like homemade, exactly what you expect. Creamy tomato soup, excellent spices and a crispy, cheesy grilled cheese sandwich. (If only it weren't 90 degrees out...lol, Phoenix in November!). I hope they have this special often this winter, SO good."
"Jordan provided impeccable service! She remembered our preferences from our last visit a couple of weeks ago!The Brooklyn burger had a delicious pastrami and all the flavors were spot on.Look at how beautiful the chilaquiles is! It tasted as good as it looked.I downed my meal with a kale tonic!"
"Salad and go will always be my favorite quick salad spot. I always get the jalapeño ranch salad with chicken. By far my favorite salad that they have. The service is usually quick and I'm in and out."

With all the great reviews, we were expecting this place to be amazing. Let's start with the woman that took our order. She was very curt. Being my first time in the restaurant, I had a few questions, but she was not very helpful and seemed annoyed when I didn't know things (what comes on the burgers, how to order, whether or not they have certain toppings available). On the plus side, I found out that their meat is fresh cut from the butcher, no additives, and most of the pies are handmade in the shop. Food service was prompt. Decor was dated, but the place seemed clean enough. The lady that cleaned up our table was very nice. My husband wasn't very impressed with his burger. He said it was okay and the fries were good. Kids liked their grilled cheese. I had a burger patty with a bunch of fresh and grilled veggies, no bun. I thought it was good. Everything was fresh and well-portioned. My husband got s slice of pie to go and enjoyed it. I wish I could eat ice cream, because everyone in the place was eating these huge milkshake things that looked awesome!2 burgers + grilled cheese + fries + 1 soda = $19. Fair price, decent food, maybe we will come back sometime. My husband gives it 3 stars, I give it 3.5.

This is our second visit to Wild Berry Diner. This time we invited a couple with whom we're good friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts as did we. Met Christina the owner This morning as she greeted and seated us in Christina's (our favorite server) area. Today, I tried the Turkey Club w/ fries and was not disappointed! Outstanding meal! Many thanks to our new friends at Wild Berry Diner for another great experience!

I came here with my newest friend and his sweet girlfriend for breakfast/lunch after staying indoors for 12 nights. It was cool seeing mist on the way into the restaurant because it was already 106 before going in. It's possible it might be state law here because it's way too hot here in Arizona. The workers here were very nice and our waitress Paige gave us nice service. I like how they bring the pitcher of iced water and the carafe of coffee so you don't have to keep asking for refills! The coffee here is really good! We had a nice window seat with a good little view. The restaurant was really clean, including the men's restroom. So, for lunch, I had their version of the Turkey melt and French fries. They have a unique flavor with the sauce they put on the melt. Was super delicioso!!! I definitely was glad my friend took me here and I would come back! Please give them a try!

Savory crepes! My absolute favorite French breakfast guilty pleasure. Foch Café had a crepe filled with crispy fried chicken (still tender inside!) and topped with a light gravy sauce with some Thai chili peppers for some spice and warmth. The over easy egg was of course the topping to my breakfast "cake" but in this instance, crepe! My husband ordered steak and eggs. The steak was sliced and sitting on top of round potato pillows that looked like scallops. It was an art and have not seen breakfast steak and eggs prepared this way before. It was such a treat! (I stole some bites, so that's how I know..)I ordered a Bloody Mary because the thought of grilled cheese sounded so good! They have grilled cheese sandwiches alone but I wanted to see it on my Bloody Mary. If you are a fan of grilled cheese and tomato soup, you would probably love this combo too. I've had it at other restaurants as well but not as perfectly executed as this!I ordered a chai latte dirty to go. It was really good and offered some sweetness at the end of the meal! The restaurant is warm and welcoming and the service is great. We had just slept in and wanted someplace to find reprieve since we spent a long day at the Innings Festival and still had Day Two left. We were energized and surprised that at 9am, this place wasn't full yet, but by the time we were finished, it started to fill up.

My friends and I came here for brunch on Saturday after leaving the airport. I loved the vibe and the interior in this place. They weren't able to seat us inside even though it was pretty empty except for 3 large groups, 2 small tables, and 2 at the bar when we arrived. It was very hot outside on the patio so we weren't too happy about that. The misters were on but it didn't really hit us at all. I felt bad for the dj playing outside in this heat. We didn't feel like searching for another spot so we just stayed. Our order: Mimosa Tray $703 Casamigos BlancoEgg White ShakshukaFlaming SaganakiTurkish Eggs x2Shrimp CocktailCala BurgerHuevos RancherosThe mimosa tray was split between 4 of us and there was enough for about 2 glasses each. It came with grapefruit, oj, pineapple and cranberry juice. My Egg White Shakshuka was delicious paired with the toasted pita. I would order this dish again. Very filling and I still had a little bit left! My friends all said they liked their dishes as well. However, 3 people in the group did have some stomach issues later that evening and we determined that it must have been from the Flaming Saganaki since the rest of us did not eat that. Besides that and sitting outside in 100+ degree weather, I would like to come back, sit inside and try another dish from here next time

I love breakfast at Burros and Fries. This is because they begin with quality ingredients and don't skimp on the proteins.Try the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. I like to add the French fries. The Big Breakfast Burrito is a double long burro 284) perfect bacon, eggs, fries! Ask for the guacamole salsa and salsa verde! Those are my favorites!
Visit Restaurant Page"Returned with phoenix family for second time for a great breakfast on a Friday mid morning. Waited for only a short time on the shaded large covered outdoor patio for Dave the Hawaiian shirted front" man host to call us to be seated . We had basically the same orders as previous visit , Benedict , chicken fried steak , big scramble w Birria extra topping ( I could not finish it took home) & young granddaughter had big kids hamburger on Brioche bun w fries , plus added the coconut " Hawaiian pancake to share . All very good , we returned to enjoy the whole experience. The service is very good and efficient . The surf /beach decor is fun like visiting San Diego . There's a small counter , old working jukebox , & surfboards hanging all over . The booths very comfortable. I assume the lunch items great too . I'll ( we will ) be back !"
"7 years since the last review. I did not ever live here yet!Hillside Spot has consistently been the best place to eat for us over the last 7 years! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have not found one thing wrong, or lacking in any way with any of the meals we were served. My favorite is the 50/50. I like to get a sandwich or salad with whatever soup they are serving that month. Again have always been impressed with whatever the soup is and adding a salad or sandwich to the makes it just the right amount of food. I am diabetic and my hubby is pre-diabetic, so the most wonderful thing for us is that we can order great-tasting food and not worry about our blood sugars getting out of control. Yes, we try to stay away from fries, chips, etc but Hillside offers fruit or salad as great alternative sides to choose from. Although their fries are delicious, we will share them once in a while. Choices! That is what we love most about Hillside Spot.Service is always good. I like that they hover on the periphery and are not interrupting with questions, but are there when needed. Finally the beer list. The beer selection is very good. Hubby likes to have one once in a while and the selection is great. Even have Wren House!"
"I ordered the fish tacos and liked them alot. They were grilled so no breading which I prefer. The salsa bar was great and the chips were fresh. I got the mild salsa and it was very flavorful. Staff was helpful in helping me choose my order. I'd highly recommend."
"I needed some breakfast and ordered an Everything bagel w/egg. Their bagels were on par with New York bagels with a nice chewy inside. Service was pleasant. On my way out I got a pull apart roll to take to my neighbors who are so nice. I find it sweet that they have a dog menu too. Large parking area and Cox WiFi for subscribers."
"While looking for a place to pick up dinner we came across Chispa's in the area. We decided to give it a shot and created an online order and everything we got was fresh and delicious:Ceviche - Fresh and tasty Chips and Guac - DittoCarne Asada Quesadilla - ended up saving this for the week and it was tasted great re-heated in the airfryer - lots of carne asada too!Pollo Asado and Al Pastor TacosChispas Salad with ChickenChicken Tenders/Kids BurritoPick up was super easy and on-time, they had it ready to go right when I got there. There were a few people inside - very clean and the service was friendly. I thought the value for what we got was spot on, great quality, and lot of amazing options to fit anyone's taste. Will definitely try this place again (especially breakfast!)"
"It's a very simple fool proof formula that I use when gauging whether or not the food will be good at a Mexican restaurant...ARROZ...yep the Rice! And at this place they nailed it. Specialties include the yummy chili relleno! And it holds true. Ooey Gooey cheese, perfectly battered flavor chilis swimming in a delicious mildly spicy red sauce! Yummy! Wow! Delicious!Chicken Flautas were devoured and they came with all the accoutrements and The chips and salsa disappeared and so did the super tasty and yummy pork tostadas. Portions are big enough to share! The Agua Frescas were refreshing and I recommend the Hibiscus flavor or as we say Jamaica (pronounced Hah-my-kah)Super friendly service too. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at this Oaxacan restaurant cleverly called Alabrijes which if you're familiar are these cute little colorful folk wooden carved critters that when you shop for one the Alabrije that you pick actually really picks you. And I'm happy I picked Alabrijes for dinner! My new favorite restaurant in Litchfield!! Go now and be ready to wait in line at weekend breakfast."
"My favorite local restaurant! So happy to have a location in Gilbert after frequent the N. Scottsdale and Phx locations. Good, fresh, high quality seafood flown in daily in Arizona is not easy to come by! They have an awesome every day happy hour til 7 in the bar/sushi bar and outdoor bar areas with $10 signature cocktails and full appetizers available in the normal menu. Please be aware they don't take reservations for happy nor is it available in the main restaurant. Service has always been subpar and the vibes are right! Revolving oysters flown in daily- how can you go wrong?!Some reccomendations see photos - Ace in The Hole Cocktail (on HH)- Hamachi Crudo- Trofie Pasta- Spicy Salmon Tartare (hh)- JT's Broilers- Oysters (obviously!! on hh) - Shrimp Ceviche (hh)"
"So I saw this the other day at the spot where the old Mongolian barbecue was and was pretty excited to try it. Took the light here this morning. Hoping to really love it. Overall, it's okay. Now the hotcakes are really tasty with a nice fluffiness to them and they have a sweet flavor to them without anything on them. I got the breakfast quesadilla which is pretty good flavor wise, but I think the overall feeling of the place is it's pretty basic at least for the stuff that we got. We did notice a lot of other things. Very Southern on the menu like fried catfish and chicken and waffles. That could be better but the breakfast we got is pretty basic and not something we'd come back for. We don't really have any options for their eggs at scrambled, scrambled or scrambled. The toast is pretty much Wonder bread and the sausage is quite honestly pretty sad. They're still in the process of opening so I think things ran fairly smoothly considering and our waitress was good. But overall probably not a place that we will run back to. There's so many great breakfast and run spots within a 20-minute drive of our house, this one's not going to get us very often."
"Breakfast at the Boozy was made to order fresh and flavorful. We had the protein omelet with eggwhites spinach and feta served with sourdough bread. The service was wonderful, and we came early, so we missed the crowdsI noticed that in most restaurants, in Scottsdale, there are bars, and this location was no different, hence the name " Boozy."The restaurant was comfortably set up with cushy booths and offered great cappuccino served hot .Hope to come again when back in Scottsdale!!Extra note:We liked it so much that we did return for a 2nd day before left Scottsdale. We met the owner and had the same great service ."
"I love this place! It's a new take on a classic diner, with a friendly, everyone's family kind of atmosphere. The parking lot was packed, but there was still plenty of room inside and we were seated straight away on a Saturday morning. Our waitress was energetic, peppy, smiley, and very attentive. We ordered two eggs with French toast and the biscuits and gravy classic breakfast. Both were superb. The eggs were fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. The bacon was crisp and salty. The French toast was just like mom's; just the right balance of egg and cinnamon - not overpowering... and not coated with powdered sugar. We really enjoyed our meals and we will definitely be back."
"Went in for a late breakfast. We were in a hurry and ended up getting the food to go and eating a few bites there, then leaving. The Waitress didn't bat an eyelash at our request and got us done and out the door in good time. I had the Biscuits and gravy. The gravy was wonderful and flavorful, but the biscuits were hard as rocks until I broke them apart and let the gravy soften them up. My wife had a chef's salad and it was large and had plenty of toppings. Overall - not bad!!"
"Soul Cafe is a good vibe place!Stopped in for a late morning breakfast following the GF's medical appointment. The patio seating in the shade was perfect (even if a parking lot view). The inside bar and dining areas were fairly busy for the time of day, post bfast - pre lunch.I had the Crazy Biscuits (green chili and sausage gravy) and the copine had avo toast. Both came w choice of egg style. The food was fantastic and abundant.Hugo was professional, courteous and energetic as our server!"
"My boyfriend has been wanting to check our this place for awhile. It's definitely a unique experience. We got the Special Mams. The food was delicious, I like the presentation and flavors. The service was a little slow but to be fair there was quite a bit of people. My only "complaint" was they got a dish wrong and also I was they would of explained what we were getting on the tray.Other than that this place was good!"
"Breakfast aficionados alert!!!! If you want mammoth portions, this place is for you. If you want the most savory sausage link you ever put in your mouth, this place is for you. If you want a cozy "you're back at Grandmas house" meal with a piping hot cup of coffee, this place is for you. The only reason I don't give TJs 5 stars is the time from "order to plated". It takes a very long time to get your meal once even seated. This assumes of course you are coming at a reasonably busy time. I'll just say it. They don't have the number of cooks and waitstaff to keep up with the number of diners. But they bust their tail doing the best they can and it's not for lack of trying. Again, the portions and quality of food are just outrageously good. If you are not in a rush, THIS is your breakfast spot !"
"We stopped by Culinary Gangster on our way back from Sedona for a quick bite. For a Saturday afternoon, they were quite busy but had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoors had misters to keep you cool on this warm summer day. The menu is expansive and has a lot to offer. I appreciated that you could have some items served as a wrap vs salad. I enjoyed the Caesar wrap. Having read some reviews, they now offer original Caesar dressing with their house-made Caesar with balsamic. Pro-tip: Yelp check-in for 10% off your first order!"
"I'm not sure why this location has bad reviews but I walked in and my smoothie was ready. Back home, we do not have the pick up section so I didn't look there before asking. A young lady was nice about showing me where my order was. My kid was offered an edible straw too. The location was clean and it wasn't busy at all."
"The service here is good and quick but the food is not as good as other locations. I usually go to the Arcadia location off of Indian School rd. and comparing the protein pancakes between the two the ones at this location are a bit over cooked and have been the now 3 times I've come in. That said I love the layout of this location way more and the lighting is much more natural. So really if they can mail down the quality control I think this would be an easy 5 stars."
"New York sort of air! How should you pass the time? If you were a New Yorker you would be in a cafe some where with your feet drying out from the heaters that are under the table clenching that cup of coffee waiting for it's aromas to sink way down. Arizona is far from New York, here is the next best thing. Bagels, meats, cheeses, bacon, and a beverage. You know this is gonna be good! This little bakery is located right next to a cupcake shop. Yes, and I'm just wandering in now. Better to arrive eventually than not at all. The smells from this shop will give you fever all the way to your core. The best of New York cafe living right here in Sun City Az. No rain and no frost it's all sun and shine in the valley of the sun. The golf is on after a sensational breakfast. They are open early for all those risers that need the goods to start the day off. Bagels and bagels galore. How do you want that pastrami and Swiss or your egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich; they all have one thing in common: they all are served on a bagel. Many times we have visited here. You get some real good food. The food memories bring back times when I visited New York. Their version of a "big breakfast," will quench even a growing teenagers tastes and leave them full. The bacon, what's not to love. The eggs n bacon meal has home cooked potatoes that were always perfect paired with your choice of bagel. What's not to love? It's supporting local that matters. Here in the Sun City area so many big chains are around. This bakery is a proud badge to the community in a sea of corporate world all around, but still the little place is around. Spread the word and always support local. It's Sunday and the early is how we do it! As we live these days, sleep is a fluke and we seem to need less and less of it. Maybe it's stress or all that coffee. Now that's it's morning, it's time for some coffee. It's a beautiful morning. As I sit here and sip the coffee the sun cracks and plays peek a boo from beyond the clouds. As the rays of sunshine dance and spread their radiance the coffee is taking effect. The chef from behind the counter is calling out my breakfast number. It's a help yourself sort of way here for basic coffee. Sometimes all you need is the simple, with that better way of eating in the morning. Especially Sunday morning. The aroma from my food hits my nasal passage way and inside I'm screaming grab that fork. The bacon just beacons for me to eat. Let's go I cannot wait anymore. If yours a type of individual that seeks great deliciousness in home down cooked food, look no further. That New Yorker welcome is here just for you. Bagels galore. How do you pastrami or egg it? On a bagel of course. Perhaps sourdough. The best of heaven wrapped up all the way from the shores of the east coast to the west coast ! Now let's get our breakfast on! It's our connection to food that brings so much happiness to all so enjoy simplicity with a bagel of your choice."
"The family (8 and a baby!) went here for brunch to celebrate November birthdays early. Was not sure what to expect, but it was centrally located...... I had the Sourdough Benedict and a GREAT Expresso Martini (be warned it is strong). I am not a huge brunch person but did enjoy the Benedict. It was not TOO Rich as some seem to be, and struck a good balance of substance and 'creamy'. Our father in law actually asked the waitress what was in an Expresso Martini, and she came back promptly with the ingredient list!I tried a little of the Stuffed French toast, and actually considered ordering a second meal or getting it to go! Again, sweet without out being somehow just sugary.....Lastly my wife said her corned beef hash was adequate."
"We came here before going to a show at Gammage Auditorium. This must be a frequent stop for people on their way to Gammage, because as soon as we entered and got seated, the server asked if we were headed to a show there. We said yes, and she promised to get us out in time. Caffe Boa has a great atmosphere with lots of dark wood and exposed brick. We sat in the little sunroom separated from the dining room with our doorways. It's brighter in there. There's a separate bar and a glassed off room for more private dining. One of the best things about this place is the great art posters, all having to do with wine. The food here is fantastic. Hubby had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were delicious, although I admit I love all meatballs. I did like the red sauce, which I can be a little picky about, and would definitely order anything with the red sauce. I had the steak salad, which was very large. It was dressed greens with sliced steak on the side, and I could hardly finish it. I did, because it was soooo good, but I left feeling stuffed.Caffe Boa is a really great place in general, but especially Great for a pre-event dinner in Tempe."
"Designed as a country cottage interior, TC Eggington's is a nice breakfast and brunch spot. Clean with country style furniture, menu is part traditional part original. Staff wears golf-type outfits which I am not certain how it blends with country cottage interior, but it does create a unique identity. Food wise it was mostly good. Kalamata and vegetable omelette was a wonderful surprise. Smoothie of spinach apple yogurt and banana was good although it could have been blended a bit better. My friend had burrito and stayed it was bit too dry. Staff and service were good. One thing I observed it was difficult to get recommendation from the server. Something I often do. All in all despite the criticism - it is a well above average restaurant!!!"
"We came to Scramble at the suggestion of our son whose birthday was today, 1st day of November. It was our first time visiting here. We arrived right after the lunch crowd but I believe the busy time is with the breakfast crowd. I didn't know what to expect and had no idea what I was going to order but it seems you can also add other items to what is on the menu as my son did being a regular at this eatery. As I perused the menu I decided that I would order the Phoenix. It comes with chorizo, green chilies, cheddar, pick de gallo and crispy has browns and ordered it with scrambled eggs, with toasted sour dough bread. I was delighted with my order as it was yummy. My wife had a small order of scrambled eggs with sausage, and toast. My son ordered French toast and scrambled eggs. The place is very clean and has the ambiance of a family friendly atmosphere. You do have to order before and you are given a number to place at your table so that they know where they will bring the order to. After we had finished the gentleman that had taken our order came to our table take our dishes away and came back to strike into a conversation with my son as I had mentioned before to we were here to celebrate my son's birthday. My son asked him when his birthday was since he mentioned he had a birthday last month. Low and behold his birthday was on the same day as mine. The staff is friendly as well as helpful. It is located off of 7th Street and Mountain View Road in a strip mall. We will definitely return here again."
