We love Blue Wasabi and dine in multiple times per year. We have our favorites and usually try a new roll or 2 everytime we come. Dirty Sanchez and Dam Jumper are our faves! The kids like the crab wontons and Wango Mango. Service is usually very good and quick. Happy hour prices on select items is always a plus! It can get busy, the earlier you get there the better. Our out of town guests like to come when in town and it's one of my kids top choice for their birthday dinner!

I haven't been doing many Yelp reviews lately as I feel it to be unnecessary, however it took a really special experience to make me want to share. This has been quite possibly my most disgusting restaurant experience in my life. Before even entering the building, you are greeted by a stank sewer smell in the parking lot and trash all over the rear of the restaurant. Boxes, cans, and other trash litter the back entrance. Upon finally entering the restaurant, you are immediately cramped due to a noticeable lack of space. Some of the bussers were even having difficulty getting to tables. We were seated and began to look through the menu, getting drinks and such, when my sister noticed that the plates and soy sauce cups were dirty and had to request new ones. Then after we received our waters, I had some sort of green leaf floater. Yuck. Cleaning must not be their specialty but neither is sushi because their sushi was just plain awful. Thinly sliced to be no thicker than maybe a paper clip and was less fresh than McDonalds on a bad day. Their rolls weren't even remotely authentic with some of the oddest combos I've seen. But of course they couldn't just mess up the sushi. My mother isn't a fish person so she decided to go with Orange Chicken, an incredibly simple dish. Trying it for myself, I've got to say if you really want orange chicken, Trader Joe's sells frozen in a box orange chicken that tastes a whole lot better and costs $5 for 22oz of chicken. Her meal was $13, lukewarm, and had rice as bland as drywall. I wish I took more photos but luckily I managed to snag a photo of their wasabi which had the texture of Play Dough, the only difference being is that Play Dough is non toxic and edible. I know I've been harsh, and for good reason, but at the very least the service was decent and my mom's cocktail (the Mowie Wowie) was good. Please please please do not go here for anything other than drinks. That is the only reason to go here. Sundays drinks are half off.

Ambiance: We go to this shopping center often and always see it packed. Yesterday, we were craving some Sushi and decided to give it a shot. It was a full house inside and was seating immediately. Overall, the vibe is decent, nothing special. Service: A little slow in my opinion. Hostess and our waiter were both nice. Food: Wasn't the best. The sushi options sound great but the flavors weren't there. The crab wontons were good. Orange chicken was hard to eat which we ordered for the kids. Overall, it's a okay spot if you are craving sushi and you are in the area. I'm sure you can find a better spot if you are willing to drive around.

We are new to the area and have been sampling various restaurants in the area. We landed at Blue Wasabi. Great location with mall parking. There is indoor and outdoor seating with the misting sprays for the outdoor area. We sat inside and greeted with a smile! Our waiter was fabulous and patient while we studied the menu. Lots to choose from regardless if you eat sushi or sashimi! So, with that said it's very much a fusion style sushi place. We love the idea of it because not everyone in our party partakes in fish. They have wings and beef skewers etc. Such fun choices! We had the tempura shrimp and the batter was light and crispy with a delicate glaze. Quite yummy! Ordered the Chuck Norris Roll; tuna taco was delicious too!We love this place and will return!!Martinis were so great and fun names for them as well!! Just go!

Our waiter was so rude. I have never been there before and had questions about the menu and he was almost angry to have to answer questions. Place was so loud we weren't even able to talk. Sushi was mainly rice not a lot of other ingredients.

I'm so surprised at home many people recommended this place for sushi. This is not good sushi. Paper thin fish over some rice with the worst wasabi is not what I call sushi. Too bad I went for my birthday to only want to leave after my first bite. Won't be back

We waited thirty minutes for our first tray of sushi then another forty-five minutes for the remainder of our lackluster plates. The rose-apricot iced tea is the only reason I am giving two stars as it was delicious. Not worth returning unless you have two plus hours to spare.
