The service was good , the food was not so good .....The burgers were burnt ... the fries were hot and the appetizers were good The ambiance was dark , the employees were just kinda hanging out ... but our waitress was attentive ...We probably won't be back , mainly due to the not so tasty burgers .....

This goes out to the owner Kelly C. - My wife and her co-workers (about 14) scheduled a trivia game, other activities and food only to find out that they didn't have the trivia "confirmed". Needless to say having to go out and buy a game so the team outing wasn't a bust was a bummer. There are several emails back and forth in regard to this and I'm placing this solely on the "party planner". The food was confirmed so they knew they were coming. Just be aware that they need their hand held when doing a party. Oh - they didn't not try to make up for it in any way or from what I understand not apologetic in any way. Luckily they'll girls made the best of it due to BKDs inabilty to get things right.

Picture this, you're invited to an early dinner by some family members. They say "We're kinda in the mood for wings" they're coming in from out of town. You don't live in Chandler so handy dandy Yelp it is. The restaurant seems to have amazing reviews with good wings so you give it a chance. Upon arrival the music is on point and the casual rock vibe was very well executed.The service was terrible. I waited at least 20 minutes for my order to be taken after arriving, while the place was pretty empty. I ordered a burger medium rare. It arrived medium well and completely dry. The texture reminded me of that a regurgitated chicken nugget. The meat had no texture or flavor. It was disappointing to say the least. Especially considering the wait for the burger was 35+ minutes. I also ordered a Dr. pepper with the burger. I got it 5 minutes after the burger. Warm and lacking in carbonation.I understand the service industry is a tough one. But while this restaurant is very well priced for the portion, this place is not worth your time or your taste buds.

Heard BKD's had amazing meat (ribs, brisket, chicken). Looked at the menu online and saw the only meat was a pork chop or steak. Figured I'd check it out anyway. Walked in Saturday night, place reeks of old spilled beer and grease, half full if even, not a single staff member came by in the 15 minutes we waited at the table. A couple servers watched us walk out and said not a single word.

My husband, my son and I decided to check out BKD's. I read the reviews and thought ok, maybe it is not your typical sports bar, but I also thought how good could it be, it's a sports bar. We walked in at 4:30ish Friday afternoon and not a lot of people were there. Good atmosphere, it's a sports bar. You know with lots of tvs and a huge bar. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a lady behind the bar and again by a young man serving others. We were told we could sit anywhere. We chose a large booth just across from the bar and we could see all the tvs and the entire restaurant. Our server, Carmen, came along. She is pleasant and patient. Took our order. My husband had the Backyard Burger, oh my goodness!! Such a delicious flavor and taste. Hubby let me have a bite. Then I had the Ruben sandwich and let me just say, IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Plenty of corned beef and it was all very well displayed on a serving board. My son had the baked potato skins and they were a large portion and very good also. As 5 o'clock came around the bar started to fill up. It was good to see and it created a welcoming feeling.I am so pleasantly surprised by this place. This was not at all like sports bar food, so much better. We spoke about the food all the way home. Home run for BKD's !!!

I met the chef online and was visiting the area. Before leaving the Phoenix area, I gave the restaurant a try. My guests and I tried a little bit of everything - pizza, pancakes, french toast, and brisket.I have to say everything was good and the service was great. The restaurant is pretty big and there is a lot of room if you have a large group.This is a must try.

My extended family went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. They were able to seat us immediately on the outdoor patio. They had the heaters on and it was perfect. Our server was new but very friendly and helpful. I had the grilled cheese with brisket and it was gigantic and delicious. The sweet potato fries were good too. Everyone enjoyed their food, and there was a lot of it.

Went to this place around 5:30. I gave this place a 3 cause the wings were pretty salty. I asked what their most popular wing flavor was and ordered that thinking it was gonna be flavorful but it was just very salty. The fries that came with them were really good but they gave me a very small amount picture was after eating 3 or 4 fries. Don't know why the wing and fries deal only came with 4 wings I feel it should be changed to at least 6. Boyfriend got a good amount of fries though so I guess they were just busy. Boyfriend liked his burger. Cheesy bread was pretty good just a real shame on the wings. Should have gone with a dry rub.

Every time I go here I have an outstanding time. The service, the staff, the owner truly care about the customers. When you walk in your greeted You sit down the servers come quick, Your food is out fast looks and taste amazing The prices are great.A special bonus happens when I get to hang out with Kelly Cooper. You should reach out and definitely support the man by donating to his campaign and voting because he's gonna make a huge difference when he wins the congressional seat in your area
