"Synopsis: Reminds me of delis back home in New York; great feel, kind folks, amazing sandwiches. Girlfriend and I are vacationing in the Phoenix area and wanted sandwiches while we visited the Botanical Garden and Zoo. We found this place while looking through recommendations. It's your traditional convenience store with a deli attached to it. The guys working the market were incredibly nice. We placed our orders quickly, pastrami sandwich and a club. Didn't do any sides but we did grab some unique chips and fountain drinks. Our sandwiches were done in about 5 minutes and were well worth the wait. We were thrilled with our stop at the 56th Street Deli. Between the food, the service, and the selection it was a great choice for our sandwich fix. 5 Deli Fresh Stars out of 5!"
"Sweet slices, easy service, fresh home made taste. It's busy. It's order at the counter and go sit down. They've got canned beers and drinks, no bar. But no need, the pizza and wings will satisfy you fully. Love stopping here before a show at the Van Buren.Look closely around at the decor, look up... amazing calacas and skull art pieces. I'd love to know the artist. anywho, go grab a slice or two. They've got classic pizza styles and and some tasty ass culinary creations. They run out quick on the creative ones."
Red sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, ricotta, fresh basil & reggiano.

During the pandemic, it's been great to have a place less than a mile away where I can get a decent six pack and a bag of ice without getting out of the car! When I have gone inside pre-pandemic, I've enjoyed the variety of beverages available. It's a well-curated shop that leans a bit heavier on the "great beer" side of the mix than "great wine," but you'll no doubt find something you like, and at a decent price. The service is always friendly and prompt. It also seems like the soda fountain is a favorite of the local high school kids!"
"I had seen how cool this placed on social media and finally made it in this past weekend. Parking was easy to find as there is a parking garage right in front of the entrance. We made it on in and saw the sign that said "seat yourself." A few tables were dirty and still had plates / cups from previous guests so we settled for a corner spot. Our server came over a few minutes later and he was very friendly. He brought us waters and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered:Two alcoholic drinks (don't remember the names) One meatball and ricotta pizzaThe drinks were really good as they were not too strong and went down smoothly. The pizza was delicious! It's not the typical pan crusted pizza, as this one is thin and basically has no crust. It was very flavorful and had a good crisp to it! The meatballs were really good!Overall we had a great time. The music was bumping, the server was friendly, and the service was quick. We will be back!"
"Always loved coming here after a long day, whether I wanted liquor or wine to relax my day away. But now that I can't have either for a couple months, still worth the drive for the most amazing pickles!!"
"Had lunch at Ingo's Tasty Food while attending an event at the Phoenix Convention Center. Ingo's is within walking distance. The space is bright and inviting. It's a two-story restaurant with second floor seating. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered. The staff was very patient and helpful as we asked questions and took our time deciding. We ordered the following:Black and white $4.75Toni's deviled eggs $5Heirloom brown rice bowl (x2) $13.50Cheeseburger $11Fresh shattered potato chips $6.50The food was light and delicious! We started with Toni's deviled eggs. Great combo of German mustard, Laurel Chanel goat cheese, and pickled beet. I had the heirloom brown rice bowl for my entree which came with sorrel pesto, kale, feta cheese, pickled mushrooms, pepitas, five-minute egg, sesame seeds, and dill. My only regret is not getting at least two eggs to add more protein. Otherwise, it was a very good dish. My husband ordered the same bowl, but without the feta cheese and also loved it. Our son ordered the cheeseburger and potato chips, which he devoured within minutes. I was able to sample the potato chips. It had sea salt, cracked pepper with lebni and/or homemade lacto-fermented hot sauce. It's a must! Before leaving, I ordered the black and white coffee which is their 24-hour cold brew coffee lightly sweetened and topped with mint cold foam. It's excellent. We're already talking about our next visit."
"the owner and his workers are so sweet!great price to buy lotto tickets for gifts!"
"Recently I attended a convention in the area, so my friends and I wanted to try a local spot nearby. Yelp search led me to this location, and I'm so glad we stopped by as our server Melissa was fantastic! When we arrived, it was easy to seat ourselves as there is plenty of seating both indoors and on the patio. I can see the patio being gorgeous during the winter and spring, which just means we will have to visit again. We started with some starters which my friends kept raving about the Brussels sprouts, which intrigued me to inquire if they can make vegetarian next time so I can partake. My queso dip and chips was a great way to start, and we all enjoyed the starters. For our entrees, we all tried something different ranging from grilled cheese (mine) to sandwiches and a burger. We all loved what we chose and loved the waffle fries. I definitely could see us returning and the brunch menu peeked my interest as I think it could be a beautiful patio brunch in the winter. Always looking for a great location with a patio to get fresh air for weekend brunches with friends.Overall, a really great experience and if in the area then I would check this location out! Don't forget dessert as you can get it to go. The creme brûlée cheesecake is delicious and definitely get the caramel sauce as it was divine to add on top. Yum!"
"Need more Hawaiian items!!! But thank you for the ones you have. Also excellent selection of pierogies."
"Was in town and made a breakfast reservation for Saturday morning. (Def did not need one because there was plenty of seating at 930 on Saturday morning). We sat for a very long time before getting offered a drink or anything for that matter. The waitress was friendly and kind but she did not listen to what we ordered. When our orders arrived (via someone other than our waitress) we told her that our orders were wrong. The girl literally said nothing, just stared at us looking odd, then walked away. It was bizarre. Then no one came back until we were done with our wrong meals. The waitress drops the check off and i told her the cost was wrong because the meals were wrong and she attempted to argue with me. She ended up correcting my bill but I can tell you I'll not be going back. The food was actually good though"
"Open on Christmas! Drive through window. You don't even have to get out of your car. Thanks for answering all our questions. The cashier was super friendly. They sell lotto here too."
"I've been coming here for a while now and going back and forth on menu items. I have a few favorite items here but it seems I can't stop ordering the Italian sub. I'm not much for salad dressing on sandwiches but this Italian sub is the exception. The flavors that explode out of this sandwich are amazing. Every single time. Other favorites include the Philly cheesesteak, the deluxe, and the gyro. They also have a decent burger and the fries, onion rings, etc are always tasty. Basically. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. As far as the market? Well. Hands down they have the best beer selection in fountain hills. They update the selections regularly but there are plenty of brews that are always stocked. Owners are locals who are invested in fountain hills and know how to treat customers well. Fountain hills express. Best deli/ market in town!"

Been coming here for nearly 30 years. Used to be called In and Out before the burger chain moved to the valley. The sandwiches always hit the spot. The staff is friendly and helpful!

My Brother in law and Son did a quick little pizza tour of Phoenix. We went to 5 different places, and grabbed a slice from each. Via Della ranked #2 of 5 on our tour.Been wanting to try this place out for a long time! I went with a slice of cheese, and my son went with a slice of Grandma pepperoni. Took a few minutes to reheat in the oven, and then we dug in. How were there? Pretty freaking delicious! The regular cheese slice was my 2nd favorite of the day. The cheese itself kind of broke apart (too hot of an oven?) and wasn't as stringy as I like it. Crust a tad thin, too. Still tasted great though! My Sons Grandma Slice.....WOW! I had a couple bites of it and this was my actual favorite slice of pizza of the day (non cheese, but including cheese lol). The crust was decently thick, crunchy on the bottom, great sauce, great cup pepperonis. When I come back, I'm going straight up Grandma slices. It was absolutely delicious! Cheese slice 8.1 out of 10. Grandma slice, 8.5 out of 10. Great pizza!

My step-mom's brother is a huge craft beer fanatic and he suggested stopping by here to grab a growler. I am sure glad I took his advice!Mickey was really helpful in helping me pick out the "right" beer, and after a couple samples, I was definitely satisfied with my choice. The prices here are insane (in a good way) - you can get a full growler of really good beer for about $10 or less. And the selection is on point - I think there were over 20 taps of all types of micro-brews. When I was trying to choose, I asked Mickey, "Have you tried all of these beers?" His response: "Well, I'm the one who chooses which beers are on tap, so I only get good ones." He definitely knows what's good. They also have a great selection of lots of other liquor in the store (wine, hard liquor, regular beers, etc.).

I totally forgot to check in. My only complaint was trying to find parking. Other than that. This place was great. Great customer service, food, and drinks. So many cute spots to take photos. The bathroom was clean. It was definitely a new experience that I enjoyed.

Sixty-plus percent markup from what you can find retail, but chances are very high that you'll find what you're looking for here. I did. Add drive-thru service, and it's a convenience I am very glad for in this 110++ degF summer Phoenix weather. Fresh from my recent discoveries of Ketel One Botanical (Rose and Grapefruit is my current obsession)c they conveniently had mine here, and I didn't have to drive 20-30minutes to a boxy retailer. And if you haven't tried Topo Chico sparkling mineral water, it's the bomb!Straight across from the iconic Pruitt's along Tower Plaza fast food row on E Thomas Rd. Someone should put together a Yelp badge for checkins all along this row. Come get your fix, and top it with an amazing liquor, to-go. Hahaha!@mickobizzle

Wanted to get a healthy lunch so we stopped by Ingo's for some greens and it did not disappoint! This is a casual place where you order at a kiosk or register and food will find its way to you within 10-15 mins. I got the kale quinoa salad with crispy fish and it was refreshing and filling. My husband has the brown rice grain bowl with soft boiled eggs and it was delish. Service was nice prices are fair. Clean establishment.

I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. They stock some bourbons that are a little harder to find even at Total Wine. Purchased a fairly rare bourbon just the other day and very happy (and lucky!). This will be my go to place to pickup spirits in the future. Cheers!!

Spokes On Southern is the perfect late night local bar that has a great selection of drinks and a real kitchen that has great food. The service is phenomenal for a bar. The seating is vast, with lots of options. The noise level isn't stupidly loud but moderate and allows you to hear everyone at your table. The prices are reasonable.Last night, after playing hockey in Chandler, we needed to grab dinner around 10:45pm. On the drive home to Mesa, we scoured the online choices for what might be open. A friend texted me a recommendation for Spokes on Southern, so we stopped in. The place was open late, and the kitchen ran until midnight. We arrived about 1050pm, and it was a small crowd of just a few people at the bar and a table. The barkeep quickly came to our table and took our drink order, after which he returned quickly with the drinks and took our app and beer orders. He was helpful and on top of things very quickly. I ordered some wings and the crispy chicken sandwich. My son ordered the Carver Burger. The wings were nicely fried and large, and tasty. The crispy chicken was absolutely awesome, with a gigantic moist chicken filet, perfect crispy breading, and delicious toppings and sauces. Seriously, it may be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The carver burger cooked perfectly, and the full of flavor. I also had the cup of tomato bisque soup as a side, and it was likewise surprisingly excellent. The crunchy waffle fries were perfect, too.The price tag on the food and drinks was reasonable, and the one-man barkeep server was running the whole show like a champ. Having trouble finding good late night food that doesn't taste crappy? Spokes on Southern has you covered. They even have vegan selection for those with specific diets.Honestly, this was a huge and delightful surprise. I will be back!

The community wore blue to honor him, so I wanted a bouquet of blue flowers. Elena happily and promptly helped me. She asked what my budget was for the bouquet, and then said it would take only 10 minutes. And in 10 minutes she made a beautiful bouquet on the spot and met my budget. Lovely!Only thing is I didn't see a little card, I forgot to ask for one so make sure you do when you request them to make you a bouquet."
"Our go to liquor store! My husband and I always come here for the beer selection. There is so much to look at and choose from, there's a bunch of random things in the store but it looks like there is a huge variety of liquor as well. Would definitely recommend for the huge variety! The prices seem right in line with buying at a grocery store or such, so it's nice to know prices aren't jacked up high. The staff are friendly and don't try to sell you on other things. This is definitely going to be our go to place for trying new beers! Love that they have local options as well."
"I parked in front of this brand new spot when I went to visit my dentist next door. I was pleasantly surprised by the niche options available for craft ciders, beers and local wines. The owner Marcus is great and he was helpful and knowledgeable when I asked for recommendations on cider options. The store is on the Untappd app and offer a 10% discount when you join. There are plenty of tasty snacks and desserts available so if you are heading to a get together they can be a one stop shop on the way."
"This place has a great selection of diverse wine styles at great prices. I've never bought a bottle that I didn't enjoy. The new, larger space is great for their wine tastings like the one I attended last Thursday. The owner Andrea is always friendly and makes great recommendations."
"Guy is a over pricing jerk. He suggested buying a bottle of Japanese whiskey for 199.00. The same bottle is around town for 79.00. And he swears he has the best prices. I'd suggest never buying from this store for any bourbon needs. I believe the guy that attempted to sell it to us is named Sam."
"Wow!! This spot is a gem!! We happen to be in the area and dropped in for dinner. Casual ambiance, with good prices. There was a wait but we sat at the bar because it was available. Renee was awesome friendly, professional and really knew the food. The food was so good we ordered chicken tikki it came with rice and we plain and it was so delicious I will be making a point to stop in when I am in the area."
"Who would have thought a liquor store would have been one of the more memorable stops during our Scottsdale vacation? The staff was so friendly and ready to help us. They were full of suggestions for not only things in their store, but also restaurants and other activities in the area. They have a drive-thru and a delivery option. Thanks to Sam and team for starting our trip off on such a great foot!"
"As I passed through Phoenix on a very lengthy roadtrip, I really wanted to have a special meal. Sottise was such a great choice. The restaurant is in an old historic home, which really adds so much to the charm. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And the food? Incredible. This spot is absolutely worth going out of your way to try. All the food is great, but make sure not to pass up the deviled eggs. They are amazing."
"We have been shopping at this AJ's, both when we lived here and whenever we in town for a visit. The prices are typical AJ's, which are somewhat full. But, it's still the only place in the Valley where I can pickup some specialty items. They stock Peter Lugar's steak sauce (yep), Gold's Horseradish, Desert Gardens mixes and dips, aged balsamic vinegars, along with several Münchner bräuhaus Weißbiers. Today AJ's is still owned by Basha's, so several of these items can be purchased there. But it's limited and some items are not always in stock. NorCal based Raley's Supermarkets purchased Bashas' a few years ago and promising to keep the formats and store names the same, they even kept Edward Basha III as president. Nice. Btw, the employees are all very nice and will go of their way to help find what you are looking for."
"Food perfectService spot onAtmosphere was clean and quiet. Just gave a review and we had a great experience. Would definitely come back again and we even had a Groupon."
"I don't normally review corner markets, but I have to here. They have build your own 6 packs of craft beer for 8.99! They also have their own growlers of rotating craft beer which you can refill and buy the growler bottle there . Great selection of cigars and cigar boxes as well. Love the back corner which has some nice to tobacco pipes. Every ting is iry! :) If you need some good beer go to cactus and the dude behind the corner is awesome! Such a great guy who is super nice."
"The food and service have definitely improved. The fries and ranch are delicious, and the patty melt is now consistently quite tasty."
"I adore this restaurant. Every worker we have ever encountered has been friendly and helpful. My husband usually orders two enchiladas. I am a nacho lady. I highly recommend ordering a double layer; they will put a layer of chips, then a topping and a cheese, then bake it. Next, more chips and more cheese and a different topping for the top layer, then they bake it again. So amazing. I also like the margaritas and the cookies here.Make sure you sign up for the points and rewards, it is pretty easy to accumulate and get a free entree."
"A quick stop here on a recent Sunday around noon produced a limited crowd at the bar and also at the tables. This must be a bar built awhile ago as no windows are available. The English accented female bartender was very nice and the beers were cold and that's what matters. I then noticed a tiny kitchen and a huge menu spanning all meals. Menu says famous tacos, so here were go. They were double wrapped and full of white meat chicken with some onions I think. Salsa was good and bonus radishes and cucumbers were good surprise. Will try something else again."
"Fresh and local food here at Ingo's. I love the fish and chips. The flaky white fish is subtle and mild tasting. The batter is very thin not too much but just right. The chips and tarter sauce are very good. Everything was made to order. It's a great spot to eat clean with a plenty of options to choose from. The building architecture is really cool too. It's round and more spacious for outside dining on the patio rather than on the inside. It's off the corner with beautiful trees around for shade and nice scenery."
"Stopped by Amelia's for happy hour and we were not disappointed! The inside is very cute and trendy. They have wine shop section and then a full bar / restaurant. There is outdoor seating, too.We had the happy hour board and bottle special for $30. They have a Verde from Portugal that we got and loved it. The board was huge but we didn't love all of the cheeses on it. The entrees that came out looked very good, would like to try for dinner!"
"Oh wow, Cowboy pizza! You put other pizzas to shame. So delicious from toppings and cheese to soft and chewy crust. The combination we ordered (Shroom pizza with couple additional toppings) worked out so perfectly. I can't remember the last time I had such delicious slice of pizza. Keep it up! Bring your patience though, ordering over the phone was difficult as it kept going straight to voicemail. This place is packed with lots of takeout orders. Just give it couple months for them to work out the new business hiccups. Enjoy! Highly highly recommend."
"The north Phoenix area doesn't have a lot of ethnic stores or markets so I was delighted to see this store in the Moon Valley area. It's not a very big place but it does have a good variety of Middle Eastern goods and foods that you won't find in most supermarkets, and the people are friendly and helpful. My fear was that the turnover of goods in small ethnic stores might not be fast, resulting in goods that may be older than you would want, but this not the case with their goods - the packaged food items that I bought had fresh flavors and I definitely enjoyed them."
"This place should have 5 stars. The family that owns this place and works there is A Class. The son is well trusted with the store! That being said... they have THE BEST PHILLY SANDWICH IN THE WORLLLLD!Thanks, guys :)"
"My favorite place to buy wine. Great selection and friendly service. Has the hard to find bottles as well like 2018 Shafer Hillside Select"
"I have been sleeping on Gadzooks for a few years now. I thought... "soup & enchiladas, I don't get it".... until I was injured and could only eat liquids. First order was delivery through their website by way of Yelp. I ordered the tortilla and the corn chowder.... added deluciousness to the tortilla and left the chowder as was with the lava sauce on the side. They're not joking about lava on the salsa. I added a bit too much to a plain chowder and it was far too spicy for me...Next time, I ordered the potato enchiladas and chicken tacos, again through the app. They were out of potato, I learned when the dasher deluvered the order with a missing item and I called the restaurant. I don't typically eat meat and the tacos weren't for me. I was bummed the restaurant employee was unaware of how I placed the order, considering I did it direct on their site. So, the communication was not relayed until I called. I am not dropping points because it was so good, a bit salty for me but not overly so. As I said, the guy over the phone was pleasant and answered the question quickly about why I was missing an item and had already refunded the amount. I will order again, or go in."
"Date: Sunday, July 2nd, 2023Time: around 4pmParty of: 2*Chart The Course ($12)*100 Years, 100 More ($64)*Staff Benefit: 4% ($3.04)I was over at Platform 18 with the hubby. Since we were at Century Grand, I figured why not check out another bar. Grey Hen wasn't very busy, so we grabbed two seats at the bar.I decided to be extra and get the 100 years, 100 more. It contains balvenie 21yr port barrel and balvenie 14yr caribbean rum cask. Such a pretty cocktail. They present it in a cage and then smoke it with a torch. The hubs got the chart the course which is a non alcoholic cocktail since he needed to drive afterwards and we were just at the other bar.The bartender was great. Nice and friendly. Waited for me to get my camera going so I could film the cocktail. Very sweet. I'm more of a sit at the bar and chill kind of girl, so this was definitely my vibe. I like it not too loud so I can have a conversation.Fun bar with great cocktails!REVIEW #3462"
"This is a huge pool hall, first time coming. Food was pretty good. Gets busy on Saturdays for sure. They even have a karaoke room next to the outdoor smoking area. Lots of tables from regulation size to small ones that take quarters. $15 bucks an hour for games. Service is kinda slow , bartenders seem like chicken without heads that's prolly cuz I went on a Saturday nite . But not a bad place for booze n balls. Lol"
