The perfect proportions in this burrito is something I can appreciate. Held it's shape well and its filled to the brim."

I didn't personally try any of the drinks but they had some fun looking concoctions. All in all a great addition to the area."

"Great location, near shopping with plenty of parking. Love the look, feel and atmosphere inside, upscale, but casual enough for lunch, but also being sleek enough for an elegant dinner date. Hostess was friendly, and seated us right away, dining area was a choice of tables or booths. Our waiter got us drinks quickly and walked us through the menu. We tried different things on the menu based on recommendations and glad we did. Everything was amazing!!! Some of it seriously blew our mind and our taste buds. I have had Sashimi before, but none have been close to what we had at Umami. Umami is on the next level of dining from seafood to short-ribs. We will definitely be back to further explore the menu as everything we tried really did impress and left us wanting more, but at a certain point you have to push away and save some exploration for future visits. You can only indulge so much on the first visit of what will be many more."

I had the Sourdough Benedict and a GREAT Expresso Martini (be warned it is strong). I am not a huge brunch person but did enjoy the Benedict. It was not TOO Rich as some seem to be, and struck a good balance of substance and 'creamy'. Our father in law actually asked the waitress what was in an Expresso Martini, and she came back promptly with the ingredient list!I tried a little of the Stuffed French toast, and actually considered ordering a second meal or getting it to go! Again, sweet without out being somehow just sugary.....Lastly my wife said her corned beef hash was adequate."

"On our way to see Hamilton at ASU Gammage, we decided to stop in to Society. It was early, so no reservation was necessary. Not wanting to sit through a long show on an over-full stomach, we decided to share an appetizer and entree. We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were moist and delicious. The house-made sauce with basil oil and balsamic reduction pushed the taste buds to the edge! So good! We shared the burger and delicious fries. Two thumbs up, with a definite "would order again" review. The place is eclectically decorated- comes together nicely. The bar has full service food and was charming. I will certainly be back. Great place with excellent service. What else do you want?"

"Progress was a fun experience. I wouldn't say it's a must-try or that it was worth the over $300 bill for two compared to other $300ish restaurants we've been to (felt more like $200ish?), but it was nice to do. My husband and I did the "let the chef decide" option, so we each got five different courses. It was cool to share ten plates off the menu and get a breakdown of the ingredients from our waiter, Anthony! One negative was that they don't have high chairs or changing tables. I get it's not a kid-friendly place and the vibe is on the modern and trendier side, but ours behaved well enough and I wish they made parents feel a little welcome. The things we were served were crudo, steak tartare, squash tostada, curried carrots, tomato salad, burrata, chicken, branzino, cheesecake, and mousse. Everything was created and plated so carefully! My favorite was the chicken, and I think my husband's favorite was the tostada. Overall, the food was incredible. Be warned, they charge for bread and butter! It's worth it, though! I also ordered the gruner wine and my husband got the Of Wolf and Man cocktail. He made his impressed face so it was a win."

I've been with my family a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. I will say that my first couple of visits, I was a bit underwhelmed with the food, but I think it's gotten better and I have been impressed with it as of late. On a recent visit, I had a Bloody Mary and a Cobb Salad with Shrimp, and some sweet potato fries. My family also enjoyed wings and pizza.It looks like Lou's does a great job with catering to large groups as it always appears to have private functions going on... I need to keep this in mind for future!I will definitely be back, especially now that my kids seem to be taking up golf!"

He brought us waters and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered:Two alcoholic drinks (don't remember the names) One meatball and ricotta pizzaThe drinks were really good as they were not too strong and went down smoothly. The pizza was delicious! It's not the typical pan crusted pizza, as this one is thin and basically has no crust. It was very flavorful and had a good crisp to it! The meatballs were really good!Overall we had a great time. The music was bumping, the server was friendly, and the service was quick. We will be back!"

The bar was small inside and had a live musician (much better than dead ones) so we sat outside at one of the many tables available. Luckily, they had fans with the misting water spray as it was after dark and still around 100 degrees. It was pleasant though.They had a lot of choices of alcohol and bottles/cans of beer. I chose a local wheat and it hit the spot after dinner.Uber pickup was a challenge as the Uber Driver ended up somewhere where we didn't know where he was, but we got that squared away and were off."

"My boyfriend mentioned that this is one of the better sushi spots he has had while living in Arizona, and I must agree that it is very quality! Sake Haus gives off a traditional and contemporary aesthetic, and the dimly lit restaurant feels like I am underground somewhere. If you are familiar with Bang Bang in San Diego, then I am thinking of just that. It is also similar that it is a bit on the pricier side, but this was very much worth it. The menu is small, but packed with flavor. It offers a few appetizers, rolls, nigiri and sashimi. There is an omakase, which is essentially five different pieces of nigiri, and I believe at least one of the pieces changes every so often. It was mentioned that it is a chef-styled place as in the chef chooses what to serve on that day. I will say my favorite thing was the wagyu nigiri -- so much that we ordered more. The ryujin, bad & buri, and wagyu fat pork gyoza (we ordered two) were also top tier. Honestly, all of it was delicious, and I got the kin (gold) omakase, and each piece was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi salad was also tasty, but I wish the dressing was more prevalent and more cucumbers (and protein of course). Overall, everything was 10/10 (or 5/5 because it is Yelp).Our waiter was a gentleman with a ponytail (and a smiley piercing) and he was great! He was so attentive and chill. I can't remember his name and I didn't get my receipt to look for it, but shoutout to him, especially because I called him over to pay for the meal before my boyfriend got back from the bathroom. It was cool because he announced it like, "If there's nothing else you need, then you're good to go. The bill has been taken care of, she paid for it" and that was great. I didn't know he was going to do that, but it made it that much better. I would definitely come back!"

I had the pot stickers and sesame chicken, and while decent, I didn't think it justified the price. I worked at the most amazing Chinese takeout in my youth, so I feel I might be harder to impress though. The food is more of the Americanized-Chinese variety.While the food is good and service is great, I'm not sure I'd be popping back in."

"So glad Cheba Hut opened on this side of town! My first visit was to their Glendale location as it is close to work. Otherwise the closest one is in Tempe so this is much more convenient. I love how the rest of the shops in this area have white lettering for their signs but CH said nah, we're going with our signature green and orange. We came for their 420 celebrations where they were offering nugs for $4.20. It was pretty busy but there is a lot of seating, including the patio where we sat. We got their KGB, Jamaican red, and Kali mist (no bacon). I tried the KGB and it was fine, I'm just not a horseradish fan. The Jamaican red was delicious, wish it was spicier but it was flavorful. The Kali mist was tasty as well, even reheated the next day. Service was friendly and quick and I look forward to coming back! They have a rewards program too but I didn't get my points so I'm waiting to hear from them."

I'd been to this restaurant before when it was in the nearby strip mall, and their food has always been awesome, but their previous location not so much. I'm glad to see they finally moved into a much larger place, as the old one just wasn't big enough for the amount of business they do. The fams and I didn't go to their old location as often as we would have liked just because the seating was so tight and the ambience so loud that it wasn't really enjoyable. Moving into this location ups their game by a wide margin. You now have plenty of room between tables which are set in large open areas, and as we happily munched on our food we could have a conversation in a normal tone of voice and hear each other. They are definitely going to see us more often now."

We loved our server, Garrett, who was friendly and had great suggestions for food and wine.We got the ragu (rigatoni with pork rib ragu, garlic, basic, and burrata) and the affumicata pizza (charred tomato, smoked scamorza (cheese), garlic, and basil). I thought the ragu was pretty good, but the star of the show was the affumicata pizza. My friend couldn't stop thinking about and talking about it, even after dinner. It was like he had an out of body experience while he was eating it and he savored every last bite. For dessert, we had the torta, which was an olive oil cake, topped with apricots, whipped cream, and marcona almonds - yum!Throughout the dinner, we had a front row view of the guy making the pizzas. He didn't seem rushed at all in making the pizzas, it was like his form of relaxation.The name of the restaurant sounded familiar, so I looked it up. It's by the same owner of Virtu Honest Craft, which is a restaurant in the same area.I would come back and order the pizza."
