"This place offers an awesome fusion of Mexican Sushi Rolls! Things like Carne Asada rolls and fried jalapeños with salmon! Sushi prices are very fair and the amount of food you get is a ton! I definitely couldn't come close to finishing the rolls I ordered. Awesome flavor combo with a great fusion twist."
"Breakfast burrito and french toast were really good. Coffee was nice and strong. Will come back. Atmosphere is interesting...."

Visit Restaurant Page"Decided to try this place for breakfast before heading to Vegas on my birthday. It was amazing! 2 of us tried the Twisted Russian (made with Peanut Butter Whiskey) delish! We all ordered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito. So freakin good. This place did not disappoint!"
"[3.7/5.0]Slid in here after the Pusha T concerr. It's freaking dirt cheap. I don't know how people are still complaining about prices. The al pastor tacos were pretty mid. Meat was dry to the bone, doused it in salsa to fix it. Carne asada burrito was steaming hot. The carne is not as dry as the pastor so I was glad when chomped it down. The perfect proportions in this burrito is something I can appreciate. Held it's shape well and its filled to the brim."
"New restaurant in the Roosevelt Row area by the owners of Gadzook's Enchiladas. Let's just say it's bright and sunny inside with fun touches and colorful accents. Our server was friendly and welcoming while not being pushy. The chips were perfectly salty and the guac was good. The enchiladas were just like the ones at Gadzook's, but without as many combos. I didn't personally try any of the drinks but they had some fun looking concoctions. All in all a great addition to the area."
"DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available."Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger."
"Great location, near shopping with plenty of parking. Love the look, feel and atmosphere inside, upscale, but casual enough for lunch, but also being sleek enough for an elegant dinner date. Hostess was friendly, and seated us right away, dining area was a choice of tables or booths. Our waiter got us drinks quickly and walked us through the menu. We tried different things on the menu based on recommendations and glad we did. Everything was amazing!!! Some of it seriously blew our mind and our taste buds. I have had Sashimi before, but none have been close to what we had at Umami. Umami is on the next level of dining from seafood to short-ribs. We will definitely be back to further explore the menu as everything we tried really did impress and left us wanting more, but at a certain point you have to push away and save some exploration for future visits. You can only indulge so much on the first visit of what will be many more."
"The family (8 and a baby!) went here for brunch to celebrate November birthdays early. Was not sure what to expect, but it was centrally located...... I had the Sourdough Benedict and a GREAT Expresso Martini (be warned it is strong). I am not a huge brunch person but did enjoy the Benedict. It was not TOO Rich as some seem to be, and struck a good balance of substance and 'creamy'. Our father in law actually asked the waitress what was in an Expresso Martini, and she came back promptly with the ingredient list!I tried a little of the Stuffed French toast, and actually considered ordering a second meal or getting it to go! Again, sweet without out being somehow just sugary.....Lastly my wife said her corned beef hash was adequate."
"On our way to see Hamilton at ASU Gammage, we decided to stop in to Society. It was early, so no reservation was necessary. Not wanting to sit through a long show on an over-full stomach, we decided to share an appetizer and entree. We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were moist and delicious. The house-made sauce with basil oil and balsamic reduction pushed the taste buds to the edge! So good! We shared the burger and delicious fries. Two thumbs up, with a definite "would order again" review. The place is eclectically decorated- comes together nicely. The bar has full service food and was charming. I will certainly be back. Great place with excellent service. What else do you want?"
"Love this place. Hole in the wall country bar vibes. It's an awesome pop up Christmas charade spectacle during the season. Simple drinks are stiff. This is where to go for a good standard drink."
"A fun spot with a beautiful view of Camelback! Service was quick and efficient, and I was impressed with their selection of mead. The spot is small and hidden, but the drink list is extensive with something for everyone. They have a selection of food, as well. Will be back for sure!!"
"My go to meat or picks here are: 11. 13. & 15. With some extra kimchi, steamed egg, and tons of rice. Mama Sun always hooks it up and makes our visit 10x better! The ladies are the kindest and know the way to good food. When you visit get some brisket, beef belly and some galbi. Say hi and enjoy some good food"

If you love sushi and Mexican food, you must try these delicious rolls, they have carne asada, its a mixture and is so good!!!!! The place is always packed and service sometimes is slow, but it's worth the wait. The place might look sketchy, but the food is fantastic.

After trying out two nearby coffee shops that turned out to be closed, my best friend and I finally found our way to Jobot! Let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was simply to die for. If you're ever in need of a great food and coffee fix, I highly recommend stopping by Jobot!

A group of 15 or so of us stopped here after a Concert at the Fountain Hills Community center. They were very accommodating and the service was very good, especially for a group this size. And not only did they provide separate checks, they did not add an automatic gratuity like most places do with a group of this size.As for the Food, I can only speak to the pizza I ordered, their Euro Special with Gyro meat added and it was wonderful!!!! The Caesar salad we got was, well a Caesar salad....

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - 2 specials of 5 tacos and a small drink for $9.99. Ordered cabeza (head), buche (stomach), tripitas (intestine), and language (tongue). The tacos were were small and inconsistent in filling with some super stuffed and others with barely any protein. The tripitas weren't cleaned very well so it was grainy. The lengua was a little soggy or over cooked but still enjoyable. The cabeza was a bit queasy so some citrus would have helped. The buche was great in both texture and flavor. The drink was mostly ice so it felt like we finished it in 5 sips. The red sauce didn't have much flavor other than being spicy Ambience: 3/5 - divey feel with bar on one side and food order on the other. Drive through and outdoor seating available. Loud music depending on where in the store you sit and TV was also blaring on the wall by the food counter. Older store so it feels like certain things are falling apart. Avoid the bathroom if you can Service: 3/5 - cashier was to the point. The lady giving out the food felt like she was ready to leave. She called something out but we couldn't understand and she just pointed at us saying "you, you"Value for price: 3/5 - meh on service and okay on food. The serving size was fairly small and we ended up going somewhere else to get more food. NOTE that they add a 3.99% service charge

During our visit to the Roosevelt Art Row District, we stopped at Hugo's Cantina, a great little restaurant bar. Our first visit they have happy hour from 4-7 with some great food and drink specials a well as a weekend brunch. The interior has bright, vibrant colors with a funky atmosphere and wonderful little wooden booths for seating. The drink menu features fun craft cocktails and beers. Their Cantina menu offers tacos and enchiladas, and you select the type of meats such as tomatillo chicken, duck carnitas, and guajillo braised beef the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Looks to be a fun place at night. Please support them.

This is THE neighborhood bar of central Phoenix. Roosevelt Row "Arts" District is still fun, but that artsy vibe was obliterated when the actual creators and service workers were priced out. They moved west of central into Grand Ave, and it's culminated with 7th - 15th avenue becoming the last stand for sincere locavore vibes. Order plenty of Fernet Branca--it's on draft! Order the cheese curds--it is literally the best bar food in all of PhoenixCatch a live show. Dance to the DJ, or at least put something on the jukebox. Bring your friends. Take photos in the vintage booth, or the bathrooms full of gratuitous graffiti. Play the crane game and win a plush. Give your prize to someone you care about and tell them that nothing good seems to last, but you'll cherish it while it does. This is a spot for celebration, for after-work kvetching, for dates, for kicking back when you don't know what else to do. It's the best.

Such a warm, welcoming vibe upon arrival! If you sit at the sushi bar, ask for Omar! What a sweetheart. Super kind and attentive. I ordered a chirashi and tailored it to my liking! The sushi is fabulous!! Can't wait to go back and try the Uni! Would love if they'd throw in soup and house salad with the sushi combos but what they have is excellent! Love the pickled cucumbers and fresh wasabi! Everything was so fresh!

We had a late Sunday brunch around 1pm. It sure was challenging to find an open parking space as shared with Hash Kitchen next building. We had to park somewhere else. We ended up sitting at the bar as there were no tables available. Our server/bartender was great. I tried the chicken fried NY Strip at $16.50. It was so dried and looked like rubber. You can't even cut through it. The sauce on top was disgusting as well. I definitely won't order this again. I'm not sure why all the positive reviews. There are much better restaurant options in this area.
Visit Restaurant Page"Progress was a fun experience. I wouldn't say it's a must-try or that it was worth the over $300 bill for two compared to other $300ish restaurants we've been to (felt more like $200ish?), but it was nice to do. My husband and I did the "let the chef decide" option, so we each got five different courses. It was cool to share ten plates off the menu and get a breakdown of the ingredients from our waiter, Anthony! One negative was that they don't have high chairs or changing tables. I get it's not a kid-friendly place and the vibe is on the modern and trendier side, but ours behaved well enough and I wish they made parents feel a little welcome. The things we were served were crudo, steak tartare, squash tostada, curried carrots, tomato salad, burrata, chicken, branzino, cheesecake, and mousse. Everything was created and plated so carefully! My favorite was the chicken, and I think my husband's favorite was the tostada. Overall, the food was incredible. Be warned, they charge for bread and butter! It's worth it, though! I also ordered the gruner wine and my husband got the Of Wolf and Man cocktail. He made his impressed face so it was a win."
"If you're looking for a family friendly venue that offers indoor and outdoor space, a fun vibe, great views, etc... you can't go wrong with Lou's. I've been with my family a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. I will say that my first couple of visits, I was a bit underwhelmed with the food, but I think it's gotten better and I have been impressed with it as of late. On a recent visit, I had a Bloody Mary and a Cobb Salad with Shrimp, and some sweet potato fries. My family also enjoyed wings and pizza. It looks like Lou's does a great job with catering to large groups as it always appears to have private functions going on... I need to keep this in mind for future!I will definitely be back, especially now that my kids seem to be taking up golf!"
"What's up everyone!! Was having a wing fix today and swung by JT's, a first for me and no disappointments. I would've ordered more food but I had one thing in mind. Check it out.JT's Famous Wings - Fresh off the grill, wasn't drowned in sauce (I like both) more of a dry rub and grilled perfectly. I got the Hot, tried the Honey BBQ too (sweet isn't my thing) but very delish!! If you're having a chicken wing craving and are in the area, give em a go, well worth it."
"Good food but the service lacked a bit. Complementary chips and salsa. The salsa is fresh. Got guac and it was delicious. Got the 3 taco plate. Got 2 carne asada tacos and a chicken. It was good."
"Excellent moderately upscale & classy restaurant choice in the area - especially for their double burger which is outstanding. The Tavern has a Hillstone type feel with American food, solid cocktails and an extensive wine shop with unique and rare wines as well as tequilas. The bartenders are always well trained, friendly and make top notch drinks. The biggest complaint from making it a 5 is the value. With the El Tesoro Margarita at $22 and the double burger with no sides at $24, be prepared to pay up."
"I had seen how cool this placed on social media and finally made it in this past weekend. Parking was easy to find as there is a parking garage right in front of the entrance. We made it on in and saw the sign that said "seat yourself." A few tables were dirty and still had plates / cups from previous guests so we settled for a corner spot. Our server came over a few minutes later and he was very friendly. He brought us waters and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered:Two alcoholic drinks (don't remember the names) One meatball and ricotta pizzaThe drinks were really good as they were not too strong and went down smoothly. The pizza was delicious! It's not the typical pan crusted pizza, as this one is thin and basically has no crust. It was very flavorful and had a good crisp to it! The meatballs were really good!Overall we had a great time. The music was bumping, the server was friendly, and the service was quick. We will be back!"
"This place was next to the Back Door Lounge which was closed on Sunday, so we ended up here. The bar was small inside and had a live musician (much better than dead ones) so we sat outside at one of the many tables available. Luckily, they had fans with the misting water spray as it was after dark and still around 100 degrees. It was pleasant though. They had a lot of choices of alcohol and bottles/cans of beer. I chose a local wheat and it hit the spot after dinner.Uber pickup was a challenge as the Uber Driver ended up somewhere where we didn't know where he was, but we got that squared away and were off."
"Ate lunch here with some work colleagues and it came with beautiful patio views. The service was great and accommodating to our tables. They have awesome lunch specials that are a great price. I got a salad and meatballs and both were delicious and good portions that filled me up and didn't have to worry about leftovers. I'll definitely stop in again!"
"Came here for a lunch date with a coworker! We were craving tacos and enchiladas. The chips and salsa was good. Service was ok, we sat outside. I got the lunch combo chicken taco and cheese enchilada, thinking I was going to be a happy camper. The food was tasteless and was warm not hot. I think I will skip this place next time."
"Not bad for first timers.... Pretty good staff went in early as soon as they opened. Order meat love personal pizza , small batch chicken wings half garlic parm and half Korean. Extra crispy with dipping sauce on the side. Waitress was bomb. Thank you Kaitlyn! You rock!"
"My boyfriend mentioned that this is one of the better sushi spots he has had while living in Arizona, and I must agree that it is very quality! Sake Haus gives off a traditional and contemporary aesthetic, and the dimly lit restaurant feels like I am underground somewhere. If you are familiar with Bang Bang in San Diego, then I am thinking of just that. It is also similar that it is a bit on the pricier side, but this was very much worth it. The menu is small, but packed with flavor. It offers a few appetizers, rolls, nigiri and sashimi. There is an omakase, which is essentially five different pieces of nigiri, and I believe at least one of the pieces changes every so often. It was mentioned that it is a chef-styled place as in the chef chooses what to serve on that day. I will say my favorite thing was the wagyu nigiri -- so much that we ordered more. The ryujin, bad & buri, and wagyu fat pork gyoza (we ordered two) were also top tier. Honestly, all of it was delicious, and I got the kin (gold) omakase, and each piece was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi salad was also tasty, but I wish the dressing was more prevalent and more cucumbers (and protein of course). Overall, everything was 10/10 (or 5/5 because it is Yelp). Our waiter was a gentleman with a ponytail (and a smiley piercing) and he was great! He was so attentive and chill. I can't remember his name and I didn't get my receipt to look for it, but shoutout to him, especially because I called him over to pay for the meal before my boyfriend got back from the bathroom. It was cool because he announced it like, "If there's nothing else you need, then you're good to go. The bill has been taken care of, she paid for it" and that was great. I didn't know he was going to do that, but it made it that much better. I would definitely come back!"
"First time at Burger Theory. Had a large group meet that was served as a burger buffet to build your own. Good selection of burgers, fixings and sides. Food was good, service was excellent. Venue was great for intended meet and greet. Probably higher score on food if ordered from menu but I totally get it. Restaurant is next to Holiday Inn. Not too far from ASU Skysong. Put this one on your list."
"Good local food while in Scottsdale. Started with a spicy Jalapeño Roasted Margarita. The Tiki Hubby and I shared the roasted corn elote, and the meatloaf. Bacon covered with a nice creamy gravy on mashed potatoes and asparagus. Soooo good sat in bar area with great service. We had to get a piece of the chocolate cake moist and rich chocolate covered in whipped cream and strawberries."
"I love this local authentic Italian restaurant. I stopped by for a late takeout dinner after work one day. I had the daily special, a fresh made italian classic that is not normally served everyday. I have for folly pasta with Bolognese sauce topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese . It was fantastic! The richness and depth of flavor of the sauce combined with the creaminess of the ricotta cheese served over the freshly made fa pasta was the perfect combination. If you love, Italian food, authentic, Italian food, you really need to try this place."
"Jet Li "Fact": Jet Li has a vegan brother. His name is Brocco Li.This isn't true. I just wanted to make a joke. ;DPlease don't attack me over this review because while this place is so widely loved, I wasn't into it. Entrees start at $17, and perhaps it pays for the singing performance, which we didn't get to see the early evening we went, but I wasn't impressed. I had the pot stickers and sesame chicken, and while decent, I didn't think it justified the price. I worked at the most amazing Chinese takeout in my youth, so I feel I might be harder to impress though. The food is more of the Americanized-Chinese variety. While the food is good and service is great, I'm not sure I'd be popping back in."
"So glad Cheba Hut opened on this side of town! My first visit was to their Glendale location as it is close to work. Otherwise the closest one is in Tempe so this is much more convenient. I love how the rest of the shops in this area have white lettering for their signs but CH said nah, we're going with our signature green and orange. We came for their 420 celebrations where they were offering nugs for $4.20. It was pretty busy but there is a lot of seating, including the patio where we sat. We got their KGB, Jamaican red, and Kali mist (no bacon). I tried the KGB and it was fine, I'm just not a horseradish fan. The Jamaican red was delicious, wish it was spicier but it was flavorful. The Kali mist was tasty as well, even reheated the next day. Service was friendly and quick and I look forward to coming back! They have a rewards program too but I didn't get my points so I'm waiting to hear from them."
"The Chili Verde was absolutely amazing! The margarita was super yummy and served with a liberal pour. I'd been to this restaurant before when it was in the nearby strip mall, and their food has always been awesome, but their previous location not so much. I'm glad to see they finally moved into a much larger place, as the old one just wasn't big enough for the amount of business they do. The fams and I didn't go to their old location as often as we would have liked just because the seating was so tight and the ambience so loud that it wasn't really enjoyable. Moving into this location ups their game by a wide margin. You now have plenty of room between tables which are set in large open areas, and as we happily munched on our food we could have a conversation in a normal tone of voice and hear each other. They are definitely going to see us more often now."
"We came in for a late dinner and I immediately loved the vibe. The outdoor seating looked very relaxing for a nice evening out, but I'm glad we actually got seated inside, where it was the perfect balance of lively, cozy, and intimate. We loved our server, Garrett, who was friendly and had great suggestions for food and wine.We got the ragu (rigatoni with pork rib ragu, garlic, basic, and burrata) and the affumicata pizza (charred tomato, smoked scamorza (cheese), garlic, and basil). I thought the ragu was pretty good, but the star of the show was the affumicata pizza. My friend couldn't stop thinking about and talking about it, even after dinner. It was like he had an out of body experience while he was eating it and he savored every last bite. For dessert, we had the torta, which was an olive oil cake, topped with apricots, whipped cream, and marcona almonds - yum!Throughout the dinner, we had a front row view of the guy making the pizzas. He didn't seem rushed at all in making the pizzas, it was like his form of relaxation. The name of the restaurant sounded familiar, so I looked it up. It's by the same owner of Virtu Honest Craft, which is a restaurant in the same area.I would come back and order the pizza."
"Food was spectacular! We enjoyed the jalapeño popper dish...OMG freakin' delicious. Las Vegas roll, pretty standard but the freshness and presentation was up a notch. And a specialty roll, can't recall the name topped with salmon and mango, again freakin delicious! Service experience was extraordinary. Server was his first day, you wouldn't have known. Such a great personality. He was under supervision by a coworker who also was awesome. They had to deal with an unruly customer and did so flawlessly. Ambiance is inviting, fun, casual. Feel super relaxed and welcome. Listen you need to come here and especially during happy hour. A gem in the valley."
"Was there for trivia night. Waitress was pleasant and kind and on top of things. Host was awesome and fun. The chili cheese fries were awesome. I'd order it again. And the margaritas were... getting me together. I thoroughly enjoyed my night of trivia and karaoke."
"Haven't been here in years. We meet friends who were staying at the hotel. The service was 5 stars. There were three persons handling our table . The server was friendly and helpful. The food portions were a little small. Every dish was a la carte. By the time we added salad and fries the meal was 30 dollars for lunch . A little pricey. They did give us a small bread pudding which was good . Food was average 3 stars but 5 star service"
"My sister and I met for lunch at Lakeside Bar & Grill. It was a first visit for all four of us. Our orders included an Arizona Burger, a Tuna sandwich, a Hot Pastrami sandwich and a Southwestern Salad. All the meals were delicious! No one had a single complaint.DJ was our server, and she did an excellent job answering questions, giving us all the time we needed to order and eat our meals as well as lingering awhile to visit. The indoor area of the restaurant was expansive and clean. We had a dog with us, so we ate outside on the patio. The misters kept the patio area pleasantly cool. DJ was even thoughtful enough to bring a bowl of water for the dog.I'll be sure to come again whenever I'm in the area."
"1/13/2024: Korean American Day We just got SERVED! All hail the KFC GAWDS: Tipsy Chicken AZ in the Asian District on Main Street of Mesa Az!They really got it going on! Serving up some of the BEST! The Original, Soy & Garlic, and Sweet & Spicy! P.S. Those are some BIG BIRDS too!Don't forget to try the Bulgogoi Fries, Pork Belly Corn Cheese, & their signature cocktails too!
