Deni G. "Not a huge fan of BBQWent to Honey Bears for lunch with a small group of work friends. The restaurant was clean and the staff waa helpful. On this visit I had the pulled pork sandwich, beans, and French fries. The pulled pork was good, the meat was lean, tender, and my sandwich was pulled high with pork. I also enjoyed the French fries, they crispy and served pipping hot. What I did not care for was the beans and BBQ sauce. For me it just had a didfrent kind of flavor but all in all not a bad spot for lunch."

Where are you going to find a Hawaiian BBQ place that carries a large selection of entrees? Just look at Uber Eats menu choices. Let's start with the 3-entree meal. I had Orange Chicken, BBQ Beef, and BBQ Short Rib. You heard me say Orange Chicken, right? Orange Chicken batter is a light tempura-based batter. Let's talk about the BBQ Beef. Very soft and tender. The seasoning got me thinking of Chinese 5 Spice more Chinese than Hawaiian seasoning. How would I describe it? Try Chinese Beef Jerky. You'll know when you try it. Macaroni salad is about 6 scoops for a large. Thai tea is good. If you want Hawaiian & Chinese food, this place got you covered!!! Just letting you they got white fish as an entree just in case you forgot to look down at the menu photo."

I was initially against it,...I wanted a burrito, but I gave in. This is a sit and order at your table place. We were greeted quickly with a smile. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Lots of seating inside and everything looked clean and inviting. The plates are definitely shareable, but we figured that out after ordering. I got the Biang Biang Noodles with Pork and it was really good! Nice and spicy with thick slices of jalapeño. My friends ordered other entrees that I tasted and liked them. They also ordered the Fish Pot...heads up, that is a HUGE! But wow, it was good. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll come back....I need to try more here."

Our server was very nice, but we also waited a long time for anyone to acknowledge us (even after ringing the bell), while the table next to us came in 10 minutes later and was served immediately. The food was below average in our case. Mostly, I was disappointed paying $35 for spicy pork bulgogi that was burnt. It smelled strongly of burning the minute they placed it on the table and the bottom was all black. The sundubu jjigae was full of good ingredients but bland. The tangsuyuk was decent. That's the only one I would maybe order again. For banchan, I didn't like the kimchi but enjoyed most of the rest. The ambiance is good. It's nice that they offer a few different ayce options."

Andrew S. "The word "fusion" doesn't really do this justice. Picture Caldwell County BBQ, which is some of the best in AZ, and meld it with absolutely delicious Mexican food dishes. You've got yourself Mexi-Q at its finest. The tacos are the way that I go here. Brisket, pulled pork, or the mouth-watering birria are all fair game. Be sure to ask for consomme on the side. It'll take whatever you order up a few notches. It'll also negate some of the spiciness if you prefer your dishes on the milder side. If you have kids that are picky eaters, they'll probably go for the side dishes. Choose from mac & cheese, beans, or elote (corn), which are all great choices. This is a not-so-hidden gem anymore. We came for Father's Day, and they had sold out of several meats but were still going strong with brisket all the way to the finish line. There's limited seating inside - it's mostly for ordering and picking up drinks. The patio is where it's at. It's thoughtfully laid out with ample seating, shade, and misters to keep customers cool year-round. There are long picnic-style tables, so it's great for larger groups and families who want to enjoy great food.I'm a fan. If you like good BBQ and Mexican food, I think you will be too."

The beans were not as thick as some, which was a plus for me. Had lots of brisket in them. Tasted great. The ribs - some were good some were over cooked and dry. The bark was too tough but they were very meaty. The potato salad was nothing special and the potatoes were a bit under cooked. Steve A. "Seriously, now I need a Yelp! option to give a 7 star review. Not kidding. How has this place been here for 6 years, owned by neighbors and I didn't know about it? This trip was life changing, no joke, here's why.The owners, Jacque and Demetrious ("D") are about the nicest, most warm, welcoming people you could meet. Their genuine passion for their restaurant shows in the extraordinary cleanliness of the entire place, the comfortable, chill, modern, light, homey atmosphere they created, the absolutely shocking, mind bending, high quality, taste, flavor, and love in every bite of their amazing food. For. Real. Read on!We tried some of everything on the menu, seriously, this review covers it all! Smoked chicken was moist, white meat, steaming, soft, flavorful, smoked perfectly and was awesome. Now, dip it in the Alabama White sauce, and it's over the top! Alabama White sauce you say? Ya, never heard of it either. It's insanely good, incredible. That's just one of the 8 home made sauces they offer! Ya, 8! Now I've been to dozens, maybe hundreds of bbq restaurants. Nearly all have a good sauce, or two, maybe even three, but that's rare. They are usually a spicier version of the first or an attempt at a different regional style. I swear, every single sauce here is fantastic, homemade, delicious, totally unique from the rest (how is that possible??) and amazing on virtually everything. A palette of sauce flavors I've never experienced. Could not be more sauce-impressed.Okay, more food. The pork belly and rib tips are insane! They glisten in the meaty, sweet, light sauce but the smoky flavor of the meet and fat steal the show in the best way. They are the best I've ever had anywhere. The brisket, oh man, the brisket! Bark? Who needs it when this brisket is sooo moist, tender, soft, smoky, absolutely perfect! Smoked in mesquite to absolute perfection and hand carved for each order. It's H.E.A.V.E.N! The pulled pork is ridiculously great! I've never had it like this. And I make it, in my own smoker, for 40, 50, 70 people at a time. The pulled pork here is better! It has light Caribbean jerk seasoning and with the smokiness of the meat and it being the juiciest I've ever had, it's the absolute best. I feel like I've been reborn and tasting all this bbq for the first time, it's ALL soo good!Sides. The Mac N Cheese, each twist is chewy, cheesy, gooey and insanely delicious, I liked the bowl! The beans, oh man, the beans! Check out all the pics I posted. See the glossy, bourbon color on those beans! They are gently smokey, meaty, fantastic. The sweet potato fries, mmmmm, lightly crispy, warm, soft on the inside, fried to perfection and delicious in every sauce, or by themself!! Ok, wing time. I'm ruined. I've had the same favorite wings for 15 years. All that changed today. Got the Arizona Spicy wings and the Tiger Stripe wings. Insane! Nuts! Both of them! Know why? Because the wings themselves are cooked 3 different ways before being sauced! Smoked, fried, finished on the grill! What??? Big, meaty, juicy, flavorful, crispy, saucy, oh man! Best. Wings. Ever! This is the best bbq in Arizona, seriously. I've had them all, I've done competition bbq, every dish here is mind blowing! I don't know how, but it's true. And no, I wasn't drinking! :-)How is it possible that every dish here, and no joke, we tried them all, are awesome?!?!?! How is it possible the owners are so friendly, kind, fun and cool? How is this place so comfortable with cool events like whiskey and cigar nights, Mexi-Que nights, jazz & R&B music nights,.... it's been here 6 years and I'm just hearing of it?I'm just glad I haven't spent another day not knowing of Word of Mouth Grill. Mike M. "Well, this was an unexpected surprise. Yelp led me here for dinner last Friday night as I'm always interested in a good bbq restaurant. Naked BBQ is located very close to I-17 on the end cap of a strip center with parking out front. Inside, it's a counter service restaurant with a smallish dining area next to a self serve drink fountain. Two bbq sauces are also available there. A sweet one and a spicy one.I asked for a two meat platter with two sides for $16. I chose sliced brisket and pulled chicken with beans and potato salad. The platter also came with some cornbread and is prepared in front of you as it is selected.Immediately, I noticed the very generous serving sizes of everything on the platter. It was a lot of food and a steal for $16. The brisket was moist cut (with fat) and had a nice bark on it. It was tasty and tender with good flavor. The pulled chicken was also flavorful and tender and with some of the sweet sauce on top delicious. I also tried some of the spicy sauce and found it to be only slightly spicy so I enjoyed it also on the meats. The baked beans had some brisket in them (a plus) and were in a savory broth. I enjoyed them. Finally the potato salad was served cool and while mayo based also had a little bit of mustard and along with the other ingredients was quite good tasting too. With the moist cornbread, I could find no fault with this meal. My only very slight criticism (no stars deducted) is that I thought both bbq sauces while flavorful were a little bit runny. I would have liked more body to them however I am nitpicking. This meal was a 4+ and when I add the price and large serving sizes, I must give a 5 here. This is an excellent BBQ restaurant!"

Marty F. "Sure, here's a friendly and constructive review:A few of us from work decided to enjoy lunch at Boo and Henry's after seeing their segment on Fox 10, and we were really excited to check it out!First off, the place is incredibly decorated and has a fantastic BBQ vibe. The two large garage-style doors that open up to outdoor seating (perfect for cooler weather) are a great touch. The bar at the back is well-stocked with nearly every drink you could think of, and the large sign sharing the history of Boo and Henry is a very cool feature. The staff was kind, helpful, and open to feedback, which we really appreciated. Since the restaurant just opened, it's great to see they're taking comments seriously. That said, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement, which I hope will be helpful:1. Ordering Process: When we walked in, we noticed a sign that said something like "Seat Yourself," so we did. However, when we asked how to order, we were told we could either go up and order or wait for a menu at our table. It might be better to pick one system. My suggestion would be to have guests order and pay upfront, then find an open table. This could simplify the process, and you could probably do away with the menus.2. Food Quality: We started with the rib tips, which were okay, but the meat seemed a little overcooked. I ordered the dry rub ribs, and while the seasoning was excellent, the ribs themselves were a bit tough and required a knife to cut through. The sides were a bit hit or miss--while the mac and cheese had good flavor, both it and the beans were served at room temperature. The iced tea had a unique taste that wasn't quite for me, so I'll probably stick to water next time.Despite these points, I'm looking forward to coming back in a few months to see how things have improved. The vibe is great, the staff is wonderful, and I wish nothing but success for Boo and Henry's!"

The service is spectacular, I've been at least 4 times now and every time the service has been top notch. The the appetizers are amazing. I think it's probably the best appetizers between all the AYCE KBBQ restaurants I've been to in AZ. The meet quality is decent and I wouldn't say it's better than other places I've been too. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the value and it's open pretty late. One thing that could use work is the banchan though. The restaurant looks fairly modern and is clean. They have a soft serve machine, but that could also receive extra love, maybe some new flavors like matcha or ube? I'll continue to be a regular here!"
