An OK Thai restaurant - there are much better ones in the area. Cute seating area for dine-in, and it was pretty empty on a weeknight because most orders seemed to be takeout. Watching KPop videos on TV was fun. The food was just ok, lacked flavor. Did not bother taking the leftovers home. Service was quick and efficient. Kid liked his Thai iced tea, though. Parking lot is tiny and hard to get in and out.

To start I got the chicken egg rolls. The most memorable thing about them was that the sauce was clear. I've never seen that before. If that's how it's supposed to be than someone please let me know. As for the flavor, I thought it was ok, but could have benefited from a better sauce with a much deeper flavor. My entree was the Penang curry. I'm admittedly not an expert on Thai food, so I picked this one because it had a lot of the veggies I wanted and said that it added peanut butter. It was delicious. However, my main problem, and the reason why gave it 3 stars, is that it was SO MUCH peanut butter that I couldn't taste much else. I mean who doesn't like peanut butter? It's hard to tell someone why I didn't like peanut butter overload. If not for that, then I feel like the flavor really needed to be dialed in more in order to make this something I would come back for. One more point that I should probably make: I thought the spice level was perfect, but my midwestern girlfriend couldn't handle it, so you should probably specify what spice level you need when you're ordering

Very nice family owned restaurant. There was a mix up with our order, the item has been taken off the menu and they handled it with such grace. The food was good and made fresh. I could definitely say this place was authentic. My toddler loved the pad se ew and my mom enjoyed Panang curry. I appreciate that they are open late on a Sunday for our last meal in Arizona. I would come back to this place to try more.

The food was okay. I ordered a Pad See-Ew with a 3 spice level. It was way spicier than I expected. Usually at Thai Basil, a 3 is not very spicy at all. When we first went in, we were the only ones in the restaurant which made me a little worried. The Thai tea was pretty good!

On a quick trip to Phoenix I ordered some to/go on 12/12/2022. Sadly, it missed the mark. The egg rolls were burned. Although crunchy, the sauce was not too flavorful and the burnt could be tasted. Rating of dish, 1. The pad-see ew was okay. Not too flavorful. The chicken was cooked well and quite tender. Sadly, Quite bland taste. Rating of dish, 2. The pad Thai was cooked well somewhat sweet but not up to par with the flavor standards I'm used to when getting this dish. Rating: 2. I'd try a different place if I came back to Phoenix.

This place never disappoints! I ordered their orange chicken Ken and fried rice. The portions are great! These two entrees lasted me 3 meals. I've reheated for two days and mwah! Perfect. When you can reheat orange chicken and it still tastes amazing, that's when you know it's good. Service is great too! They're always very friendly.

I LOVE this place. Not only is the food exceptional, every single person working here is friendly and kind. I have brought many people to eat here and they all enjoy it too. The quality of the food and the good service keeps me coming back for life!!!!! The portions are huge! I love to read in the calming environment or write while I eat. I quite literally cannot describe how delicious the food is you just have to try it for yourself.

Tables and floors were clean. Decor is modern with a touch of traditional elements. Restaurant temperature was nice. Restaurant was completely empty. Parking lot was in good condition, but small. Staff consisted of one waitress who was very friendly, attentive, and urgent. She wore casual clothes and had good hygiene. Egg rolls were crispy and tasty, accompanied by a clear, sweet sauce. Pad Thai was very saucy and very tomato based, could've had more complex favors, or a balance between sour, sweet, and salty. Noodles were a good texture. Green curry was very watery, but tasty; however the beef in it was tough and flavorless. Presentation was nice with beautiful dishwear. All dishes were at a good temperature. Overall, the quality of the meal was not worth the price. I most likely will not visit again, unless the dishes improve. Thank you Authentic Thai Kitchen!

So so so amazing. My first time, my order took a little longer than they had anticipated, and they gave me a Thai tea the size of my head as consolation although I didn't mind waiting anyway. My boyfriend always gets red curry, he says it's always perfectly spiced. We dined in once and I believe the owner was the one taking care of us, he was so friendly, everything was made super fresh and served steaming. The ambiance is everything you'd want from an authentic hidden mom and pop, with some of the best food you've had.
