They didn't skimp on the won tons, meat or the veggies which I appreciate! I do wish the broth had more seasoning, as the broth was a little flavorless. The won tons were also a little dense. However, I would still order this again (especially when someone is sick or it is cold out) but just hope they think about adding salt to the broth. The house fried rice was a hit in our house! We wouldn't change anything and would order this again."

Where are you going to find a Hawaiian BBQ place that carries a large selection of entrees? Just look at Uber Eats menu choices. Let's start with the 3-entree meal. I had Orange Chicken, BBQ Beef, and BBQ Short Rib. You heard me say Orange Chicken, right? Orange Chicken batter is a light tempura-based batter. Let's talk about the BBQ Beef. Very soft and tender. The seasoning got me thinking of Chinese 5 Spice more Chinese than Hawaiian seasoning. How would I describe it? Try Chinese Beef Jerky. You'll know when you try it. Macaroni salad is about 6 scoops for a large. Thai tea is good. If you want Hawaiian & Chinese food, this place got you covered!!! Just letting you they got white fish as an entree just in case you forgot to look down at the menu photo."

I am very proud of our Chinese brothers and sisters with the finest of food. The spring rolls were fresh and eye-catching, although an ingredient they used left a bitterness on the palate. The peanut sauce was also on the watery side. As for the pho, it was decent. It was not the worst pho and not the best pho. Perhaps the items I ordered weren't it, but I'm not sure I'll be popping back in.Keeping it 100, this place is like a 75. Everything we ordered was made fresh and there wasn't anything to complain about. Oh yeah, B.Y.O.T.!! Lol That is:BringYour OwnTajinHahahahaha!!! There's something about it that just adds a lil "feisty-ness" to the sushi. The Gyoza was cooked just right, and with a little soy sauce it was LIT! The Viking Roll was probably our fave of them all, with the Alaska coming in a close second. Let me tell you, if you haven't tried a sushi roll with lemon slices on top, you're missing out!! Just trust me on that one!I'm not sure if this location is part of a chain, because I ate at a Sushi Neko in Vegas back in January. That one was a bit fancier. Along with a Take Out section. My first time at this location. I did not need a reservation on a Friday night I was able to get a seat right away. Our server was friendly may have been new because his recommendations were off and did not seem familiar with the menu. My party ordered the chefs special for $19.99 per person starting fee which came with one appetizer, main entree per person along with one soup/salad per person. Definitely a great deal. A lot of screw ups between drinks and food but the crew was quick to fix everything. Everyone was friendly. The food was pretty good. Started off with a Mango Martini and my sister had the Lychee Strawberry Martini. Both were refreshingly fantastic! Next came the appetizers. We had the Shrimp Summer Rolls and Sweet Potato. They both tasted great with their accompanied sauces, but I really have to express how much I absolutely could not get enough of those deliciously crisp sweet potatoes. It was unexpectedly on another level of yum! I already know I'll be craving those! As for the Entree, we opted to split the Thai BBQ Pork plate. It was cooked to perfection; nice and juicy! The Zen Sauce hit taste buds nicely. Let's just say the plate was spotless when we were through.I absolutely recommend this place, if ever you're in Downtown Phoenix. It's somewhat on the outer rim of Downtown, so you won't be exactly in the thick of it, where the traffic can be annoying. Thanks, Zen Thai, for an amazing dining experience. We've went 4 times and I loved it there first 2 times all caution and full explaining happened, 3rd time not as much, but it was take out so I leave some room for miscommunication there. 4th time was so disappointing... The rolls are amazing and fresh. I truly love it at Trappers, but more training is needed for servers. I've noticed some are very knowledgeable about gluten free, others not so much at all. Today was awful as I was served a roll with tempura and a roll with onion crunch or something?!? There was a definite crunch when I bit into it! It was delicious, but unfortunately will make me sick. Our rolls were all mixed up as well so what I clearly ordered as gluten free, being specific about not having tempura, anything crunchy and to use gf teriyaki and gf soy sauce. My rolls came on 2 different plates, plated with non gluten free rolls. Gluten free food should ALWAYS be served on a separate plate, failure of kitchen and the server who should be checking the order prior to serving. I ate one piece and quickly caught the server and let her know... I don't know her name as I was also not offered a receipt. The way it was handled was- "The kitchen messed up" as she labeled it Celiac (she said they had selective reading and laughed) It's not a joke, it truly makes me sick, for extended periods time...not funny. She also said I can keep the rolls incorrectly made... (The ones I can't eat...) I also got to wait again for my food to be made, I went to Safeway while the rest of the group ate. Returned and my food still wasn't ready so that pretty much sucked too. Disappointed..."

I got the orange tofu to go with a side of vegetables. It was ready fast. I think only 1-2 people working and they don't have a bell to ring to let them know customers are waiting for them so it took a little while for them to realize I was waiting but not too long! It was expensive but the portion size was pretty large! I got the sauce on the side which I'm glad I did because they gave me a ton and I didn't need that much, I don't like when there's too much sauce on stuff. First bite you can taste the curry and savory flavor. I asked for extra spicy and they put some cayenne powder in it so it was nice and spicy. Also added chili oil. Jennica S. "My boyfriend mentioned that this is one of the better sushi spots he has had while living in Arizona, and I must agree that it is very quality! Sake Haus gives off a traditional and contemporary aesthetic, and the dimly lit restaurant feels like I am underground somewhere. If you are familiar with Bang Bang in San Diego, then I am thinking of just that. It is also similar that it is a bit on the pricier side, but this was very much worth it. The menu is small, but packed with flavor. It offers a few appetizers, rolls, nigiri and sashimi. There is an omakase, which is essentially five different pieces of nigiri, and I believe at least one of the pieces changes every so often. It was mentioned that it is a chef-styled place as in the chef chooses what to serve on that day. I will say my favorite thing was the wagyu nigiri -- so much that we ordered more. The ryujin, bad & buri, and wagyu fat pork gyoza (we ordered two) were also top tier. Honestly, all of it was delicious, and I got the kin (gold) omakase, and each piece was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi salad was also tasty, but I wish the dressing was more prevalent and more cucumbers (and protein of course). Overall, everything was 10/10 (or 5/5 because it is Yelp). Our waiter was a gentleman with a ponytail (and a smiley piercing) and he was great! He was so attentive and chill. I can't remember his name and I didn't get my receipt to look for it, but shoutout to him, especially because I called him over to pay for the meal before my boyfriend got back from the bathroom. It was cool because he announced it like, "If there's nothing else you need, then you're good to go. The bill has been taken care of, she paid for it" and that was great. I didn't know he was going to do that, but it made it that much better. I would definitely come back!"
