"Went on a early Saturday evening after going to Bookman's. We opted to dine in since the place was empty. We ordered a large Original and a order of fries to share. Everything was cooked to order and the counter girl was pleasant and helpful. After ordering she was actually the person that actually cooked our order. On a good note she washed her hands before cooking our meal.Within 5 or so minutes it was done, smoking hot. Everything was appealing to the eye and she gave us an extra basket to use since we were sharing. Fries home cut and just like Mom used to make. The bread to the sandwich was fresh, soft and amazing. Meat tender. Taste, I wouldn't really call it a Philly. The meat was seasoned literally with a lot of black pepper. Don't get me wrong it was a really good steak sandwich but not really a Philly. Not enough cheese made for a very dry sandwich. Some hot and sweet pepper would have made this a 4 star sandwich. They may offer but we didn't ask.The only negative is it didn't look like the tables had been wiped down after diners left. But in the restaurants defense there was only one person doing it all. When we left there were about 6 other diners that had ordered and there wasn't anyway she could take orders, cook and clean at the same time. We will definitely be visiting Joe's again. It really was a good steak sandwich and the fries were awesome!"

"Met up with my dear friend for some chat and food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was awesome, food was awesome, and love it! The Oink Cafe French Toast was the best French toast ever! She even offered us beverages to take with us! The sausage patties were good, scrambled eggs, I added an extra egg."
"We were looking for an alternate to islands and Desert Ridge in general. So we came here on a Monday night so kinda quiet. Attentive wait staff. Food was excellent. Reasonably priced. Definitely coming back."
"Jordan provided impeccable service! She remembered our preferences from our last visit a couple of weeks ago!The Brooklyn burger had a delicious pastrami and all the flavors were spot on.Look at how beautiful the chilaquiles is! It tasted as good as it looked.I downed my meal with a kale tonic!"
"Our family and I went to this location yesterday on Saturday, June 8 a little after 5 PM. There are a lot of people at this location because it just opened up in the past few days and once the hostess takes the party down, she will and put your phone number and text you when your table is ready and you will also have to confirm your table when you receive a message via text messageWere able to stand outside by the cool spritzer until our table is ready and we had to wait about 30 minutes or so for a party at three which was fine because they were very busy. Once seated, our waitress was very attentive, friendly kind, and I even asked her for suggestions and she went down the suggestions with us and even explained that they had to try items before starting to work. We order all the steak House burger, two well done and one with pink we chose fries instead of chips but just a tip there is a charge of $2.50 to add fries, sweet potato or salad to your order instead of the traditional chips that come with the food which we found out after our bill came. Chips must be the signature with a burgers, but for any sandwiches that we have we prefer fries over chips. There meals range from $16 and up depending on what you order. For the price point fries &Or option for chips should be available w/o any up-charge for fries unless it's an speciality like sweet potato fries. They have a special of the month which is Modelo and we also saw they have happy hour specials Monday through Friday 3 PM to 6 PM. We would love to take advantage their happy hour specials one day soon. Overall, great service, great ambience, and multiple of TVs to watch any and all sports ."
"Review about the dancing: because the dance floor is in this outdoor/indoor setting, it gets VERY hot!!!! I am not native to Arizona so very quickly I felt faint/nauseous from dancing in the heat. this place would easily be my favorite place i've ever been if the temperature was lower / if it were indoors. I'll be back here in the fall / winter!!!"
"Cks Tavern and Grill is a wonderful and excellent tavern and grill!I have been there a few times over the last year and right when I came through the door I was greeted by a friendly host. The live entertainment, food and drinks were super and all of the Management and staff were very kind and attentive. Especially Server Allyson who was very sweet and friendly. She was very patient although she was attending many tables and did an excellent job taking care of all her customers!!I highly recommend CKs.Once again, the Management and all the staff are all super friendly. Leo"
"Simple, good food. No nonsense. I'm a fan. I will be going back today for dinner!"
"Went in for a late breakfast. We were in a hurry and ended up getting the food to go and eating a few bites there, then leaving. The Waitress didn't bat an eyelash at our request and got us done and out the door in good time. I had the Biscuits and gravy. The gravy was wonderful and flavorful, but the biscuits were hard as rocks until I broke them apart and let the gravy soften them up. My wife had a chef's salad and it was large and had plenty of toppings. Overall - not bad!!"
"My husband and I were looking for a different kind of dinner venue so we were excited to check out Desert Oasis! They only offer a 5-course dinner but we were happy to enjoy a relaxing dinner night together. They have their menu posted online and offer different selections on different days. The reservation process was easy as I was able to make one online & had no hassles being seated at the time we walked in!Our server was super friendly. We could tell that she was a little bit nervous but she described all the dishes that were delivered to us & was happy to answer any questions. We essentially ordered all items (with the exception of the entrées) so we could share them!On the evening we went, we selected the following options -Appetizers:Savory Chicken Crepe / Calamari & OctopusSoups:Oxtail Consommé / Cream of AsparagusSalads:Apple, Fig Pureé & Frisée / Arugula, Fennel, & Hearts of PalmEntrées:Dover Sole & Shrimp Mousseline / Duo of PorkDessert:Chef's Dessert SamplerThe entire meal was a lot of food! By the time dessert came around, we were so full that we actually took most of the sweet treats home. Of all the menu items, our favorite was the Savory Chicken Crepe, but overall we really enjoyed the full meal! The price seemed fair for what we got as well. Since they have different 5 course meals, we'd definitely go back!"

Neighborhood style joint with some awesome food. I stopped by about two weeks ago while running into Bookmans. Decided to give this place a shot since I love a good Philly cheesesteak. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. FOOD: I ordered Joe's Philly (small size) and was surprised when a larger than expected sandwich came out. The cheese was melted to perfection, and the meat was tender. The bread was also super soft. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak. I also ordered a small side of the cajun fries which were awesome. This place should be a lot busier than it seemed when I stopped by. The employees were all nice and they have a great Philly cheesesteak. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area!

Just went to tailgaters for the AFC championship game. You would think a sports bar would be properly staffed for such a big game. Our server was bombarded with 3 six tops and a bunch of smaller tables literally all at once. No bussers. Managers walking around all lackadasical glancing at tables with empty drinks and just walking by. My drink was empty for 30 mins with countless staffers just walking by. The 6 top next to us sat for 20 mins before they even got menus! Very poor team work. Food and drinks were pretty good, though.

We came to First Watch for a late breakfast before walking over to the State Farm stadium for the 49ers @ Cardinals game on Sunday December 17th. They were on a long wait, for sure it's worth it to be on the waiting list ahead of time, I believe which you can do online. We opted to sit at the bar too once a couple left to avoid the wait. Totally understandable why they're on a wait, it's not a huge huge place, and only open until 2 pm I believe. We got a Bloody Mary and a mimosa and ordered our food. It's impossible to not be busy at this place as there's never an empty table or seat at the bar top. I ordered the classic potato dish that is on their sign outside, Sunny Soeul Hash. It has potatoes, kimchi, meat, I got 2 Sunny side up eggs on it. Next time I go, I'd 100% get the eggs Benedict. Highly recommend.

I don't think I'll go back mostly because It's quite a ways away from me. Don't get me wrong. It wasn't terrible but I had a mushroom bacon cheeseburger cost $18 a pretzel that cost nine and an iced tea that cost almost 4 dollars by the time I was done, tip included, my cheeseburger lunch cost $43 bucks. But the thing for me about it all is that my $18 mushroom Swiss burger didn't taste like anything. There's no seasoning there's no flavor nothing. The pretzel was OK but doughy and at first I thought the cheese sauce was really good but later I was kinda turned off to it, also took a really long time and I didn't go during peak times. I went about 2:30 in the afternoon. Left shortly after 4 Servers were good. Nice and friendly. But idk. I'm not sure we needed another hooters or twin peaks type of place but here we are! I'm sure they make great tips.3 starsPs: last observation.... How many burger joints are in that plaza right now anyway?

We had a late dinner here on Saturday night and it was pretty busy. We were told to pick a table and someone would be right over. Our server was busy as it looked like he was the only one manning the tables. He came over, dropped off menus, and took our drink orders right away. To eat we ordered:Cheeseburger with friesFried Chicken (4 pieces per order) with friesGrilled chicken sandwich with friesSide of potato saladSide of mac and cheeseOrder of fried picklesThe food didn't take too long and everything was brought out together. Portion wise, these plates were big and everything was delicious! My burger was big, juicy, and cooked perfectly - medium well. My moms chicken sandwich was flavorful and the added poblano pepper gave it the extra yummy kick. My sisters fried chicken was soo good. The chicken was crispy and had great flavor. The fried pickles were soggy so we didn't care for them. If they had been crispy they would've been great! The sides were delish. The mac and cheese had a nice spicy kick and the potato salad was prefect. The french fries were hot and crispy, yumm! The server was attentive and refilled our drinks. He checked up on us a few times and all was great. There was live music playing, people dancing, and everyone was in great spirits.Overall we had an awesome time and I can not wait to be back!

"DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available."Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger."
"Breakfast aficionados alert!!!! If you want mammoth portions, this place is for you. If you want the most savory sausage link you ever put in your mouth, this place is for you. If you want a cozy "you're back at Grandmas house" meal with a piping hot cup of coffee, this place is for you. The only reason I don't give TJs 5 stars is the time from "order to plated". It takes a very long time to get your meal once even seated. This assumes of course you are coming at a reasonably busy time. I'll just say it. They don't have the number of cooks and waitstaff to keep up with the number of diners. But they bust their tail doing the best they can and it's not for lack of trying. Again, the portions and quality of food are just outrageously good. If you are not in a rush, THIS is your breakfast spot !"
"First of all I read the reviews, and saw a review that was written 3 hours before I got there. I believe in givingAll businesses a fair chance. Well a friend of mine who also writes reviewsSuggested this place. Which is not related to the California Country boysRestaurant. First of all this place is veryBusy. You seat yourself. The ladies on The floor Rachael and Cassie are very friendly and courteous. The food is definitely on point. The prices are great. They also give you alot of food.So if you want a no frills decent cleanPlace to eat and meet some friendlyPeople. This be the place. It is very close to I-17. So if you go don't missIt. See you all there!"
"This great restaurant, the food is amazing and really well made. Homemade prime rib and roasted chicken. I had the prime rib French dip with a side of parmesan and garlic fries and it was delicious. I also had the carrot cake which was really good. The French dip was rare and moist and the Anjou dip went perfectly with the sandwich. The service was excellent. My waitress was extremely polite and helpful considering that it was my first time visiting this restaurant and that made the experience that much more enjoyable. The ambiance of this restaurant is very sharp and clean. There are a few other restaurants in the area which are similar in style, but they mostly just phone it in when comes food and service. This place however has great food and service. I will certainly be returning here again in the near future."
"The service here is good and quick but the food is not as good as other locations. I usually go to the Arcadia location off of Indian School rd. and comparing the protein pancakes between the two the ones at this location are a bit over cooked and have been the now 3 times I've come in. That said I love the layout of this location way more and the lighting is much more natural. So really if they can mail down the quality control I think this would be an easy 5 stars."
"Great night! We got the happy hour charcuterie board and a bottle of red. The service was great! Our waiter was very attentive, it was chilly outside so he turned the heat lamp on for us. Live music started up around 6pm, it was the cherry on top. I love this Vig! It was a great spot to hit before going to the Suns game."
"Ya girl loves brunch, period. It's been a long time since I've been able to sit back and enjoy myself. And it's hard to want to brunch, let alone go outside during summer at brunch time. Luckily though one of my friends and I decided we needed to get together and Netta's was close to us both. It's a great spot for multi-tasking -- go do a mimosa brunch, then walk next door to Fry's to grocery shop. Don't let the location fool you - it's a solid brunch spot!Walk in and when seated, they greet you with mini donut holes. #caloriesdontcountThey do have a solid non-brunch menu, but we were there for one thing only. For all menus, they have a couple of specials- the avo toast caught my eye after a mimosa. Yes... they have unlimited mimosas, but they come out pre-mixed.. maybe a little too heavy on the OJ. HOWEVER- it's like all the nice waitresses know you're there for unlimited (an option) so it wasn't hard to get refills. The avo toast was some of the best ever- even better than what I make at home. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled not fried, and there wasn't an upcharge FTW. Lots of options, reasonably priced... I'll be back!"
"The service here was very amiable. I tried out their Monterey club and kale tonic. First off, the kale tonic was way too sweet. I expected it to taste more like kale. But it tasted like apple juice with sugar and a hint of kale in it. The Monterey Club was delicious. The food is pretty good, but not mind-blowing. My whole order came out to $19.09 (including tax and tip)."
"Visited multiple times! Happy hour is a must visit time! Great specials on beer, wine, and food- the staff has always been friendly, welcoming and great service! Food menu is good if you know their menu - not bar food or small snacks - but the food is great! Most recently had the Burrata and it was delish! Good to share over drinks!"
"Always on point. Staff of great morning or night and I fly several times a week. It's airport ish... so it's pricey for what it is. They come correct!"
"My wife and I took advantage of a Groupon available for The Spot Neighborhood Grill, the second location of the popular grill and craft cocktail and burger bar. They offer gourmet burgers, sandwiches, salads, and yummy appetizers with plenty of big screen TV's to enjoy your favorite sports. The owner, Ruben, was very gracious and friendly with a wonderful personality . I enjoyed the Spot on Burger, a massive juicy burger with really good parmesan fries. My wife had the Ying Yang Shrimp in a sweet chili mango pico de gallo it was light and refreshing. They have happy hour M-F from 3-6 where you can enjoy their appetizers, beer, and cocktails at a discount. It was a nice experience. Please support them."
"Hubby and I had brunch here today. It's very newly opened where Matty G's was.We were seated right away. The place is very clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming.Hubby & I both got iced tea. Hubby got the wingdinger breakfast. I got the hash breakfast. Hubby said the hash browns on the bottom were crispy. He said it was bland. The spicy sausage gravy was not spicy at all. He said the only spice to it was the pepper he put on it. He was super irritated that we had 3 kinds of hot sauce on the table, sugar, salt & pepper, but you get ketchup in a small container, and they give you 2 small containers of jam for the toast.I got the hash with hash browns, over medium eggs, and sourdough toast. The hash was very bland. The eggs weren't over medium. The hash browns were crispy and good. The toast was good as well. All in all, there's no reason to go back. We will continue to go to our favorite place, Sunny's Breakfast and Lunch."
"Nice view and good spot if you're already here golfing. Otherwise, not really worth going out of your way. Service was decent. Not out of this world but whatever. (Was told to grab any seat we wanted - oh but not that one because it was reserved. Service kept disappearing - don't think we got water refills or drink refills because it'd take too long.) Food was decent - again not out of this world. (I got the Salmon Caesar salad. It was ... okay. The menu is a bit limited and expect exactly what you'd see at any American restaurant. But cooked okay.) See where the theme is going here? It's decent - not out of this world."
"If you're looking for a family friendly venue that offers indoor and outdoor space, a fun vibe, great views, etc... you can't go wrong with Lou's. I've been with my family a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. I will say that my first couple of visits, I was a bit underwhelmed with the food, but I think it's gotten better and I have been impressed with it as of late. On a recent visit, I had a Bloody Mary and a Cobb Salad with Shrimp, and some sweet potato fries. My family also enjoyed wings and pizza. It looks like Lou's does a great job with catering to large groups as it always appears to have private functions going on... I need to keep this in mind for future!I will definitely be back, especially now that my kids seem to be taking up golf!"
"I finally got to try HSP at their pop-up collab tonight at BEG Desserts. I tried the Cauliwings with Sweet & Spicy Mambo sauces. The cauliflower was fried to a perfect golden crisp and the sauces were finger-licking good. The fried rice had amazing flavor and it went well with the Cauliwings. The french fries were deliciously seasoned with the perfect light crisp. Service was excellent! I cannot wait to try them again! Follow their social media (ig) for their schedule."
"If you're looking for a good Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, this is the place to go. We've been here a couple of times now and we'll be back. On this visit we got 3 sandwiches. 2 medium heat and 1 mild heat. They also have chicken breasts, thighs, wings, chicken wings and tenders. The sandwiches we got were full of flavor and just the right amount of heat for us. My oldest wants to try the hot on our next visit. I was surprised how big the piece of chicken was. To top it off, you get a side of yummy seasoned fries. We didn't leave a fry behind. Lol. My kids love that they had Kool Aid.We ate our food there and we were the only ones there on a Tuesday evening. It was very busy for take out orders though. They have a small inside dining area and a nice big outdoor dining area.If you like spicy chicken sandwiches, you have to try this place!"
"We were looking for a lite lunch after walking through the Art on the Avenue. We chose Mountain View Kitchen and it was a great choice. We each had salads. I chose the Greek Salad and husband had the Chicken Caesar. Both were the perfect size. The ingredients were fresh with a good ratio of toppings to lettuce. The size of the chicken on the Caesar salad was ample. Service was excellent. I liked the mason jar glasses for water and soda. Great stop."
"What's up everyone!! Was having a wing fix today and swung by JT's, a first for me and no disappointments. I would've ordered more food but I had one thing in mind. Check it out.JT's Famous Wings - Fresh off the grill, wasn't drowned in sauce (I like both) more of a dry rub and grilled perfectly. I got the Hot, tried the Honey BBQ too (sweet isn't my thing) but very delish!! If you're having a chicken wing craving and are in the area, give em a go, well worth it."
"If I'm going to eat, drink, and watch a game, this is my favorite spot in the area. I like their wide selection of options and their happy hour deals on both beer and food. They're not huge, but I've always been able to get a spot without a wait. Their parking lot is small but you can easily walk here from the light rail. It's also not far from other great places (Roses by the Stairs and Highball) if you're looking for a multi-stop night out. I anticipate coming back again when the Suns are playing and ordering a bunch of apps to share."
"Came here for lunch after Pop Stroke. Food was solid! We got fried pickles to start. They give you maybe 10-12 spears of fried pickles. They were hot as F, right out of the fryer, and tasty!I went with the Beer Cheese Burger as my entrée, and paired it with onion rings. The burger was huge! 1/2 lb, cooked medium like I requested. It came topped with some bacon jam, an onion ring, and the beer cheese was served on the side. Everything was delicious, and extremely messy! Used about 5 napkins. The only thing I didn't like was the bun. It was toasted a little too much as far as the top bun was rock hard. Made the burger harder to eat. Not too big of a deal though. Onion rings were tasty! Had a Sprite to drink.Service was great! Our waitress was on top of refills and getting us whatever we needed. Offered us to go drink cups, too. Solid lunch, and I would definitely come back if I was hanging out in Westgate."
"TLDR, good food, slow service. When we first arrived, we saw the sign that said to grab a menu and grab a table-no host to seat parties. No big deal, we were able to snag a corner table immediately and the bar tender noticed us and came to get our drink orders right away. We were off to a good start. Our drinks were delivered quickly with a promise to come back to get our orders. It took a good 20 minutes for anyone to return, although several staff members walked by. We tried to get their attention, but it was so loud and they seemed to be trained in eye contact aversion, so we struck out.Eventually, the bar tender returned to take our order. I understand that he's busy-it would be nice if the wait staff and the bar staff were not the same person, but that's not how it rolls here, I guess. By the time we did get our food, we were both hangry and pretty annoyed at the loud environment with drunken football game watchers. There were several parties here to watch the various games on the plethora of TV screens. The food was pretty good-I had a salad and chili, while my wife had a cheeseburger and fries. The chili packs a punch-it was really spicy and cleared my sinuses a bit! I'd happily eat that again. Overall, if you're here with friends (as it seemed most everyone else was) this is a fun place to grab some drinks and hang out. But if you're looking for a quick bite, you might want to keep looking."
"Excellent moderately upscale & classy restaurant choice in the area - especially for their double burger which is outstanding. The Tavern has a Hillstone type feel with American food, solid cocktails and an extensive wine shop with unique and rare wines as well as tequilas. The bartenders are always well trained, friendly and make top notch drinks. The biggest complaint from making it a 5 is the value. With the El Tesoro Margarita at $22 and the double burger with no sides at $24, be prepared to pay up."
