Phoenix Bourbon Room

So another place we tried by our new apartment. We came here on a Monday and the place was not busy. We were seated by the big picture window that faces south. Great view!!!They have an extensive liquor menu, my Old Fashion was outstanding. I ordered a Manhattan and it wasn't that good. Food:They have a diverse menu, but for the money they have a special (sirloin, filet or Pork Chop) comes with 2 sides. My Sirloin was outstanding cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I had a house salad and Carrots for my sides. My hubby got the filet special he got the carrots and baked potato which he said was the best baked potato he has gotten in a while. BDesserts i got the Panna Cotta with berries it was ok, it was frozen. Hubby got the appleCrisp with ice cream snd it was excellent. Nice flaky crust, slightly tart slightly sweet. Excellent!!We will be coming back.

Visited this restaurant yesterday after the game diamondbacks game, hubbys old fashion arrived without the cherry and the orange twist was not twisted to zest around the rim. For bourbon drinkers rethink this facility you will be upset.As we entered this facility was empty except for the bar. 10:00 pm on Friday you'd think it would be jumping.We ate food, waited 22 min to request bill..Didn't agree with our stomach..

Great view of the dbacks game and good/drinks are phenomenal. Service is fantastic throughout the game. Great experience overall! Highly recommend!

Bourbon list had several (6 that we asked about) that were not available. The manager was unsure of inventory and actually had to look for a pour we asked the bartender for (she had no idea what she was looking for but tried Googling to see what the bottle looked like). Staff was not versed in Bourbon. If you are going to call yourself a bourbon room.....shouldn't you know bourbon????

Came here last night before a Mercury game and it was pretty dead. The server was slow coming to greet us at the table, considering there was no one in there, but once he introduced himself he was on top of things.I had a PBR burger and sweet potato fries. The burger had good flavor. The food came out quickly and we were able to eat and get to the game in plenty of time.

In January of 2023 we visited this place as a small bar hopping night. We were thoroughly impressed that night. Unfortunately, on December 1, 2023 we visited again and were not met with the same level of service.December 1 we had reservations to celebrate Christmas with some close friends. There was only 4 of us in our group. We arrived and were seated instantly. This was the only positive point of the night. Our server was listed as Amaya on the ticket. I am guessing that Amaya was our actual server because she never introduced herself when coming to the table. She did offer to get us waters as we looked at the menu. About 20 minutes later we received our waters and ordered some cocktails. We probably should have ordered our food at the same time but we weren't quite decided on what we were going to have at that point. Please keep in mind this was at 5:55 PM on a Friday. We understood it would be fairly busy with events going on in downtown Phoenix and the Suns game across the street. About 30 minutes later we finally received our drinks from a totally different waitress. It took another 15-20 minutes for our waitress to arrive to take our order for food. We decided to play it smart and order another drink at the same time knowing we had already been there for almost an hour and only had a single drink and some water. About 20 minutes later our second drinks arrived. One of the party asked for more water and the waitress (not our waitress) said they would be right back. Another 20 minutes passes (yes 40 minutes to get our food order) and the food arrives. The food was not hot in the loosest of senses. Completely disappointed but at this point we are all hungry and irritated so we just ate what we could. Remember the water that was ordered when our second drinks came out? Well that water never arrived. Since I wasn't really drinking my water, I gave it to the other person since she wasn't drinking anything else. About 35 minutes laster our waitress (3rd time in the whole experience) arrives at the table and asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. Not even asking how our food was or anything. We simply stated that no we were done and wanted the check. She printed it out and started to say she would be back for the cards. I told her not to go anywhere because we had other plans and didn't have time to wait for her to return. We gave her our credit cards to split the bill. She took them to the bar to tally them. It still took another 15 minutes to run the totals and run the cards. Now if you do the math, we were there for 2 hours and 40 minutes for 2 drinks for most of us and some cold food and unacceptable service. Will I visit this place again to give them another chance? NO! I can get bourbon and many other libations in other establishments right around the corner with much better service.

The pork chop dinner and bourbon flight was awesome. Worth trying out this spot. That selection is definitely top notch. You have every type of tequila, scotch and bourbon.

The service here was excellent. We were taken care of by Chelsea and Michael. They went in depth on the menu and the freshness of the meats and how they are fantastically smoked and grilled every day. My husband ended up eating a meatloaf melt with a Caesar salad which weren't even on the dinner menu but so good! I had the PBR Burger which was tall and excellent with o rings bacon and cheese. I opted for the Caesar salad side as well and was not disappointed. Very crisp and fresh. All the beers on tap were from State 48 Brewing. I enjoyed a Pilsner and my hubs had a javelina Hefeweizen - both were great ( could be colder).Surprisingly in the middle of our lunch at the bar the manager John stormed thru the bar shouting at Chelsea about taking food off the line that was meant for the dining room and not the bar. I seriously never saw her with food in her hands at all. It was stressful and inappropriate. Anyway Michael and Chelsea seemed to shake it off and when I asked someone about the incident they seemed concerned for John that he must be going thru something bad. Well they're better than me! Fabian u may need to look into some stress relief for poor John.

Came for a late night drink. Good atmosphere with good music. The drinks were awesome. Service was good. Great place for a late night cap. On another note, a strong weed smell floated through the restaurant and the manager came looking at us to see if it was us. He actually came by twice to see, it was NOT us. Felt like we were being stereotyped...

Spicy but good. Great portion for the price. Will graciously recommend if you area pasta lover.
