If you haven't been here, go! Trust me.. It is a bit of sensory overload at first. So many things to see and smell and taste. I came in for a few spices and some tea and left with some baklava and kabobs and a laundry list of things I want to come back for. This store has a variety of international items and a full market in the back that serves fresh food. 2 kabobs and a side for $10, and they have tables if you'd like to dine in. If you're a coffee or tea lover, their coffee/tea counter will impress you, and I'm sure they have a blend you'll fall in love with. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable, and the store is kept very organized

I am absolutely in awe with this food market. It is so big! I'm sure you can find anything you want here. There are loose tea leaves, meat, fresh breads, snacks, etc. They have so many different kinds of pastries. I came here for the bakery, the baklavas mainly. Their baklavas were crispy, right texture, and perfect sweetness. I got the walnut mamoul too, which was good. I will go back to fully explore the market.

Take all the awesome qualities and international items from central market, HEB Plus, any ethnic grocery store, sprinkle some Rice Epicurean and you will get this place. Anything you could ever want from any part of the world is available here. One of my favorites is seeing that they had the largest containers of tahini. We love to make hummus at our house so this was a real nice thing to buy. Overall, the entire place is huge. It's about as big as a Sam's Club. There are so many sections to look through. Whether you're looking for an olive oil, coffee, labneh or breads. They have a lot to look at. My review is not even doing it justice because there are a lot of things I'm leaving out. I will take pictures and post next time. The deli section, fresh foods section smells so wonderful. It is definitely an awesome place to stop and eat while you're shopping. The staff is amazing and this place is highly recommended if you are into culinary pursuits, you just love to cook or eat anything that has flavor.

I visited this store to look for specialty beef, but to my surprise I found much more that that. When you go into the store you think it is your typical grocery store with produce and meats. However, they have home good items for the kitchen, whole sale products for bigger meals, specialty cheeses from places like Spain, wines, and a galore of snacks. The staff was very kind and attentive to assist customers in a timely manner. What I love the most is they have a seating section of the store to grab a quick dessert and coffee. Try them out to find a new recipe or just in the mood to get a quick snack!

Love Phoenicia and any time I am on the side the world I stop. This time, as is every place, the prices were outrageous. I have never seen Roma Tomatoes for $2.19 a pound. Grapes nearly $6.00 a pound. Meat is priced fairly. The shelves were empty for many things. Prices in the bakery went up by 25%. Still love this store, but my pet peeve is an aisle being closed after I have drove so far. I missed three aisles this time. But, I got the yummies I came for. Could have been more, but safety is a priority.

I could spend forever just walking around this place and looking at all the specialty items!! So many unique treats everywhere AND daily handmade pita, what else can you ask for but the best part is the bakery and the grill. the lamb sharwma wrap was $8 and so filling and delicious. don't forget to ask for garlic sauce, they forgot to give it to me at first but it is definitely necessary. i didn't get a chance to try any of the bakery items but the baklava looks amazing, i'll be back to pick up a box the next time i visit

Gem of a grocery store in Houston. If you're looking for freshly baked pita, Mediterranean foods (deli, bakery and groceries) this is a must visit! We always stop here whenever visiting Houston and do not leave empty handed. Staples include the pita pockets (white and wheat), spices (impressive variety and prices), and the deli hummus. Always need to select something new to try during each visit.

This store was massive. The assortment of baked goods and pastries was impressive. It has an international scope that includes Scandinavian, Western European, Eastern European, and Middle Eastern, African regions. It was really cool to hear all of the different languages spoken when perusing down each aisle. So many variations of olive oil, pickled herring, candy, chips, condiments, and dried meats.I might make this a routine stop whenever I drop by Houston for a weekend trip.Dallas has its own large warehouse style Mediterranean-focused store called Sara's Market and Bakery that is also good.
