My first time trying Lebanese food and this place was AMAZING!!My wife and I came here for a date night and decided to try a new part of seattle (West Seattle). My wife had raved about this place and I was ready to try it!!We had the lamb chops, Saffron Chicken, Saffron Rice, and Kale Caesar. I'm allergic to shellfish but my wife LOVED their shrimp also. We were actually served by one of the owners Nadia and she was one of the most amazing people we've encountered. She shared their rich history in the food industry here and of her family who started the restaurant 30+ years ago.I would HIGHLY recommend coming her if you're looking for great drinks, great Mediterranean food, and amazing customer service.

My friends brought me here for dinner and OH MY GOODNESS!!!The food is fantastic (see photos of menu and dishes). It's Lebanese but has an Italian twist - very Mediterranean.Locally owned by two sweet sisters (I met them both tonight because they were working here) with fantastic servers.I are so much: mushroom gnocchi, prawns, lamb lollipops and roasted cauliflower finished with rose ice cream and hazelnut chocolate layered cake and Turkish coffee! My friends and I had an amazing time in this gem of a restaurant.

I'm admittedly not a huge fan of Mediterranean food. Mostly because I don't like the olives! But this place is amazing! Minus the olives, the food was delicious! I would definitely go back, and I highly recommend it.

Came here for the first time as the food on the menu looked amazing. It did not disappoint. What added to the wonderful experience were the two sisters, Nadia and Sonya, and our waiter, Jeffrey.First, the highlights of the meal. The cocktails that we imbibed were Pretty in Pink and Take Me to the Beach. The visuals were amazing only to be followed by the taste of our cocktails. The trio of spreads and the cauliflower appetizer were to die for. Now for the great but some hmmms. For dinner we ordered the butternut squash risotto with goat cheese and the roasted mushroom risotto. While we loved both, the squash risotto really should have been named, goat cheese risotto topped with butternut squash. My own perception but I picture chunks or slivers of roasted butternut squash within the risotto, not simply a few pieces put on top. While this risotto was good, it was rather overpowered by the goat cheese.Followed by, wouldn't order again. The baklava. The flavor was okay, but it was dry. While one doesn't want their baklava swimming in honey, this definitely needed more of something. Also, while the ice cream had a lovely color, I felt like I was eating rose petals right from the garden. I don't know what was used, rose oil? Way too overpowering.Would I go again? Absolutely, not only for more of the same and different appetizers, but the ambiance and the genuine friendliness and caring about Phoenicia.

We arrived without a reservation, and were seated at the bar right away. Our server was attentive and resourceful. The food was fantastic, filling, and reasonably healthy. The baklava was a little bit dry but it paired well with the rose ice cream.

Very happy with dinner here! Pizza was delicious, the dough was crusty and chewy, the squash and blue/mozzarella cheese combo was great. Also tried the goat cheese fig salad, was excellent just would like a little more dressing-which was delicious so of course I want more. The servers were really friendly and everyone came by a couple times to check in, which is always nice. Candles, a clean bathroom. Dinner and a bubbly, perfecto!

Cute place. Good for a date or a friend's night out, or even a small family dinner. The 39 spice beef was FAB. I would honestly only go back for that. The saffron chicken kabob and burrata were okay. The cauliflower dish was meh. The food is not the issue here, it's the service. The servers are nice but maybe a little too beginner? Friend got his mocktail about 10 mins before I had to tag them down for my wine. I had to remind them which wine it was. We didn't get plates until after the food arrived. It was a bit hectic. Also, an absolute no to the baklava dessert. I would remove it from the menu immediately.

This was probably one of the best dining experiences we've EVER had. We walked in on a whim and were lucky enough to be seated right away even without reservations (it was a weekday evening and there were 4 of us). The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our server was super helpful. We really gave her full control for giving us recommendations for what to order and she REALLY delivered! Every single thing we ate and drank was sensational! Our server and even the bartender checked in with us regularly and really made us feel so well taken care of.The vibe of the restaurant was higher-end but still so cozy and warm.We were truly blown away by the food and service and would absolutely drive back out to West Seattle just to dine there again. I recommend this restaurant to everyone we know!

The dining room at Phoenecia has a cool ambiance. It's not too casual or stuffy, it's just right for a nice meal or date night. My husband and I visited for our anniversary and were seated at a beautiful, secluded table with huge comfy chairs. We loved it!The food was really good. I tried their Lebanese flatbread and saffron chicken, and my husband had the wild mushroom gnocchi. The gnocchi was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back so I can have my own plate. The flatbread was yummy too, and I had a sparkling limoncello to drink, which was wonderful. We were really happy with everything. I also tried an amaro for the first time on our server's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! It was a cool way to end a special meal. One thing that really impressed me was the team at Phoenecia. They all pitched in and were very customer service oriented. One of the owners was there at the front checking people in, and she'd go help clear tables and keep things moving on their busy Saturday night. It was lovely to see how much they all cared about the restaurant. I'd go here again in a heartbeat, it was a great experience. Thank you all!

What a sweet little spot! My West Seattle friend picked this, knowing I was vegetarian. There were ample veggie options on the menu -- in fact, so many that we didn't know what to choose!Thankfully, our super attentive server was on top of things, recommending 3-4 dishes for two people (he suggested 3 if one of them includes a pizza, since they're sizable -- more on that in a minute!) We opted for the roasted cauliflower with lemon-mint labneh to start, followed by the fig salad. We were swayed into trying two pizzas (despite knowing it would be a lot of food) because we just couldn't decide between them! (Spoiler: for next time, you can do half-and-half.)Our server graciously coursed out our plates (and we needed it -- did I mention it was a lot of food?!) The cauliflower was solid -- though definitely recommend eating every bite with the labneh (the flavors together really sing!) Fig salad was also good, though a bit less memorable (you won't be disappointed if you order it, but it wasn't a standout dish for us).And then: the pizzas! Thankfully my +1 steered us towards the namesake pie (the Phoenecia), because this ended up being our favorite. The melding of salty (olives and sundried tomatoes) plus creamy (fresh chevre) was just spectacular. Dough was perfect. This feels like a less-traditional pizza to me (neither NY nor Neopolitan style) but we enjoyed it just the same. Our second pizza was the truffle oil and mushroom, which was enjoyable -- but again, like the fig salad, less notable, in our opinion. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at this little neighborhood gem, and walked away with a full pizza's worth of leftovers! Would happily return.
