I was in the mood for Vietnamese food so found this place on Yelp app. Came in at 8pm Wed night. Parking is in a large shopping center so parking is very spacious. All uncovered parking so your car will roast in the Phoenix daytime hours. I ordered spare rib pho ($18) and a bahn mi roast pork Vietnamese sandwich ($8)Food is excellent, all flavors and tastes are superb. Here are a few problems that I experienced: the waiter did not speak any English AT ALL. I had to use Google translate to order my food. Also no root beer or Hawaiian Punch available so I stuck with water. I asked if they spoke English and they nodded vigorously even though they don't. The waitress was female so she brought out the female cook who I thought knew English better but both were very puzzled. Not a word of English spoken here. For a fork I had to make a hand gesture imitating using a fork or else you'd only get chopsticks. It's like playing a game of charades. Thank God there were pictures on the menu so I had to point to what I wanted to order. They had trouble understanding "what kind of meat is in the Vietnamese cold cut sandwich" also "do you have orange soda". Please do come and eat here but remember unless you know how to speak Vietnamese or have a translator method like Google than your are pretty screwed. Great food though and that's what Yelp is about anyways!! Again, the food is heavenly excellent and I wish they spoke even 10% English but they don't.

This is our go-to spot for boba icy smoothies. The drinks are SWEETS heaven. If you don't like it too sweet, this might not be the place for you since you can't adjust the sweetness but I'm in love. And I have been for years. FYI They used to have green apple popping boba, but we noticed in recent years that they usually only have mango, passion fruit, and strawberry popping boba as the options and they have a subtler taste but still good. It's a nice sized restaurant in a quiet plaza where they used to have a 99 cents store. Staff are straight to the point. Our go-to drinks are the honeydew and green apple. But we've had the taro and mango icy smoothies as well and they're excellent. Tastes nice and strong. Highly recommend to try it out in this hot summer, stay cool out there people!

The other day we were really in the mood for some pho and decided to give Pho Viet a try. When we walked in just before 1 pm, we were surprised to find that we were the only customers there! The lady working there asked us if we were dining in or taking our food to go, and it seemed like most people were opting for takeout. One thing we noticed is that the price for their pho is a bit higher than other places we've been to. That might be one reason why only a few people seem to be flocking to this spot.On the bright side, the pho was a good size and packed with flavor, just what we were craving. The spring rolls were also delicious and hit the spot. Our waitress was nice and made sure to leave out the green onions for us, which we appreciated. As we were enjoying our meal, a couple more customers started to show up at the restaurant. The place is spacious, so it seems like a great option for larger groups looking to dine together.Overall, our experience at Pho Viet was pretty good. Despite the slightly higher prices, the food was tasty and the service was friendly.

Good food , good service, good ambiance. The Cornish hen is really good and flavorful, short ribs good but not amazing, crispy noodles good(kids love it), egg rolls really good, but Thai tea wasn't that sweet.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and I don't mean to brag, but this place is scary close to me. Whenever I'm feeling sick or down, a big bowl of pho makes me feel so much better. They answer the phone in a matter of seconds and within 15-20 minutes, you'll forget that you were even feeling sick in the first place. I've eaten inside as well and it's very clean and spacious-I really couldn't say enough good about this place. You can either split or save half for leftovers.

Really good spot for pho. Shrimp spring rolls were good though no mint or Thai basil in them. Pho broth was really good and there was a good amount protein in them.

Came after a long break, new menu and didn't have avocado smoothie was the first stike. Second was the price , even the lunch special is no special. Third strike was the waiter and waitress. Waitress couldn't speak or understand any English, the waiter got my order wrong. How was the food, okay but this places isn't cheap and you come for good cheap eats

Today was our first time eating here. The restaurant was clean and had lots of seating. The waitress was very inattentive. So be prepared to order once and not see her again for refills or additional food items.Overall the food was good. Far from the best but very good for pho in this neighborhood. The bowls of pho were a lot smaller then anywhere I have ever ordered it but the broth was tasty. Noodles were undercooked, brisket was ok. We also ordered 5 egg rolls and 2 shrimp spring rolls. Both were good. Here's the kicker, my daughter ordered a boba and I ordered a Thai tea. Both were almost $7 each! I made the mistake of not looking at the price. My fault. And they messed up my daughters boba flavor. We will eat here again if we are passing by but most likely won't seek it out.

I do not recommend. Nice restaurant but the food just did not taste good. I ordered the bun bo hue which did not taste like bbh at all. It was flavorless.. I had to add a lot of fish sauce. As the guy was putting my bowl down, you can see his thumb going in my soup. My friends pho had a bug In it. Which they were able to replace. The eggrolls were good. The beef stew was literally bone broth. Was too watery & flavorless.
