Pho Van

This place was like a hidden gem to me. It's located in a little strip mall in Santee off Cuyamaca, where you wouldn't really notice it. Fortunately, there's been a bunch of other reviews so I stumbled across it.I was craving some sort of hearty soup, so I checked to see if they had a "beef noodle soup". I was in luck! Not only did they have one but it was a popular order. I decided to head into the restaurant around 8:15pm on a Saturday. It was fairly full inside (which seemed like a good sign to me), and yet I still had somewhere to sit without waiting.Right away they brought me a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. I just started with a water and let the gentleman know that I needed a few minutes. I did already have the Bun Bo Hue in mind but was thinking of maybe starting with an appetizer.I was excited to know that they had multiple choices of noodle types and I went with the rice noodle. I was feeling pretty hungry, so I ordered and extra side of noodles when I ordered the Bun Bo Hue (beef noodle soup). I also chose to start with their Vietnamese Eggrolls. I only ordered 2 since I knew the soup was going to be filling.After ordering the server came back to my table within a couple minutes to drop off the side of bean sprouts & herbs to add to my soup. Not much later the soup came out along with the side of extra noodles. The eggrolls came out about 7 minutes after the soup and they were worth the wait! They were much bigger than I expected and crispy! The Bun Bo Hue was some of the richest tasting beef noodle soup I have ever had. I looked at it knowing I would end up taking most of it home. The meat was delicious. Great flavor, great portion.... Reasonably priced.Highly suggest this spot!

Huge and delicious Bun! Tasty egg rolls and plentiful bbq pork on a fresh vermicelli and crisp lettuce. Service was outstanding and observant. My new favorite Vietnamese place.

I love the food and the service here! It never disappoints whenever I go! The broth is amazing and the other dishes taste wonderful as well. Reasonably priced, and nice ambiance. Nothing fancy, just delicious viet pho!

I just went for the first time tonight and got veggie pho for pickup after seeing the good reviews and now I'm so disgusted! The taste was average not horrible but not too much flavor in the broth . However there was a BUG with wings in my soup!!!! Ugh I attached photo ! I spit out my food and threw everything out!!! Never going back again

Fast service and delicious food! We always come here for lunch or dinner. Food is fast, fresh and hot all that time.

Great friendly service and fresh tasty food. They have a good selection of Vietnamese dishes. The soup base for the pho is flavorful and really warms the soul on a cold rainy day or any other day.

This is one of the best Vietnamese place in Santee. First of all, one of the greatest customer service in the restaurant I have been. All of the staffs are so nice, polite and professional.The place is clean and nice.Food is great. There are a lot of options to choose and there are also a whole page for the vegetarian food to choose as well. I love that they have the shrimp spring roll option since I usually eat my spring roll without pork.

It was delicious this time, wish they gave more noodles in the pho. This time was fresh, hot & delicious!!

This place was delicious and not expensive at all. We ordered the number 6 Pho and a side of spring rolls, shrimp and pork, soooo good and well portioned. The service was excellent and ambience was great too.

Great Vietnamese restaurant with good portions and reasonable pricing. We eat here often & the food is always good & fast.
