Don't remember being here before.....family ordered $108 worth of food.....couldn't identify any of them at home.....WTF...$3 for containers and more for the bags....The Pho Thai at Fife is definitely better.

Haven't been here in yeeeaaarsss!! Literally. Was waiting for some pastries at 85 so we decided to walk down to Pho Thai. Because I'm plant based now there aren't many options for me, but my sister insisted on having a chicken banh mi. She spent her entire 20's in Seattle where she would get a banh mi every single week from the small shops in Burien and downtown. So her standards were very very high. When we looked at the options we noticed that all of the banh mi options said BBQ. We were a bit reluctant on that knowing it could be mean either bbq sauce, or just grilled meat. We placed the order and waited. No bad or rude service, kind and helpful with the order. When the sandwich was done it smelt soooooo delicious, so so so delicious. We unwrapped it to strategically placed jalapeños on top lol the first bite was good but something was missing. IT WAS THE CILANTRO!! There was literally none in there. We went back inside and asked about it. She said they put some on and we did check. There was one stem, they did not hesitate to provide us with some more cilantro. All in all, the banh mi turned out to be great! Could've used a bit more seasoning but it was good none the less. And bbq means grilled meat in this case! Still recommend! My siblings were just there again lol

If you're looking for a late night Vietnamese spot here's your place. We thought we were going to a Thai place but it was all good. We ended up just getting vermicelli salad Bowls with the shrimp (which is lightly fried and shell on) kinda gross bc the shrimp still has the vein in (barf) and if you peel it they're mushy. But the flavor was just fine and it came out pretty quick. The service is so so... they'll take your order and then once you get your food they'll be around but not really attentive. You walk up to the register to pay. The Thai tea was bomb and I didn't try the combo rice bc I was full.

Last time in my hometown or the time before I first visited this place. Loved it. Today I drove lazily around the city trying tomake my selection of what to eat and eventually it seems, all roads again lead me to this spot. The soup has consistently been something I find lacking in my Madison Wisconsin region. It's available, but to not such a great extent. When I grew up in this area the south of 336th along PAC Hwy. So. was the region where the English written signage came to a near halt. These days, +20 years later, the words I can read are far and few between. Not really, but certainly is a notable difference. Seattle has long been a place where the best Asian food was readily available. Before I knew anything beyond the westernized Chinese food I was content I imagine. I knew no different. In the late 80s I came to try and thoroughly enjoy Laotian foods by way of being invited to the local lunchroom of the warehouse I worked at. The initial disturbing odor kept me away. UntilThe other young white guy i worked with said that I should accept their generous offer to meet these other folks. That day was the last time I ever made a judgement based on regional prejudices. These people were amazing. Their food was even more so. Thai food was my next broadening experience of such delicacies. I was coaxed into trying sushi by the offer of booze. An experience I shouldn't actually have a vivid memory of, but I do have a good enough recollection of segments. The tasting of raw eel or squid doesn't ring a bell, but that experience has still made a huge impact on what is to be eaten and what should still be considered as a viable option. Bourdain too is to be credited, following reading his first book many ages ago. This place is still mostly an unknown palette of foods to explore, perhaps my next visit will venture into something broader but for today, the basic pho is what I am most excited to tuck into as soon as I return to mom and dads. On a negative note, the restroom was disgustingly unkempt and the floors walking towards them were similarly unsanitary thus slip and fall opportunities for the litigious mindset seeking to shake down a successful restaurant owner. My words aren't to be an assist in that type of thing, rather to draw attention to the owners to clean the back line part of their business as well as the dining area that the food is consumed. Flies and broken miss fitting exhaust fans are part of the stuff that often suggests that the kitchen too may be a putrid growing staging area for the health inspector to be brought in for legit reason. These are the only reasons I'm withholding two stars

Food: I ordered the vegetarian (vegetable and tofu) pho. I found meat in my broth and noodles as I was eating. I also dont think this broth is vegetarian. As I picked it out of my soup, it had this rancid sour smell to it. I almost threw up. The mushrooms arent cleaned well enough. The only point I give to them, is that my tofu held up well after 10 minutes in the broth. Service: We were quickly seated and felt pressured to order fast. Within the first 5 minutes 2 people visited us 4 times. I let them know that this was going to be a to go order, and they seemed really annoyed. Ambiance: The floors were pretty dirty. The menus werent sticky though so I guess theres another w.

Hands down my favorite pho place! The chicken is delicious & cut perfectly, it is real chicken. (Some places have rubbery chicken & it's gross, not here). Their fried rice is also amazing, very flavorful I could eat it every day. The egg rolls are always my go to appetizers, the pot stickers aren't anything special they're okay though. They have good Thai tea & bubble tea as well. The service isn't always the best they don't really check on you to see how your food is or if you need anything, but I promise the delicious food makes up for that. The restaurant is always very clean also. Super easy to find right off 320th @ Pac Hwy area

Beware of this place. My wife purchased a BBQ pork Vietnamese sandwich this evening around 6pm. Four hours later, she is vomiting has stomach pain and diarrhea. All the food poisoning symptoms. Out of curiosity I searched Pho Tai's health inspection reports with KC Public Health. Pho Tai has a history of violations pertaining to possible food contamination, the lack of clean/ sanitized food surfaces and failure to store food at proper temperatures. All of which lead to food contamination and is the reason why my wife has been on/ off the toilet for 5 hours. We will be filing a complaint with KC Health Board first thing in the morning. We will never go back here again. The Fife location is much better and the floors aren't all greasy and slippery. (Which should have been our first clue). You have been warned.

Chicken wasn't fully cooked. I called to make an order over then phone but was told to make my order online (hung up on me). I got my food for pick up so I can't speak on the ambiance. They were mad busy so I can understand cooks and other workers being under pressure.

Worst customer service. The guy who serves is okay but the lady he serves with plus the one at the cashier have the worst attitude I've witnessed. This young lady kept looking my way like I was going to run away without paying. Pathetic.
