We were visiting Boston and wanted to grab some Asian cuisine, so we decided to try Pho Le. I would rate this place as a 6/10. It's solid, but nothing really stands out. The service was good, but I was a little disappointed with the food. I ordered a bowl of Pho and thought that the broth lacked some depth -- the portions were fair, but not as big as I would have liked. Overall, it was a decent option in the area at the time, but I would consider trying somewhere else if there's a different choice.

I used to come here with my family at least once a week. It was one of our go-to places to eat for something quick and tasty. I recently came to visit and remembered exactly why we used to come so often. They were always super consistent with flavor and their food in general. I love getting their bo kho, bun bo hue, bun rieu, and the carmel used catfish dish. I recommend coming here for tasty, consistent viet food; you just can't go wrong with anything on the menu !

Pho Le is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant located across from Dorchester House Health Center. There's a parking lot for this restaurant on Kimball St. and there's street parking available as well. The ambiance inside the place can be described as casual and good for large groups. I went here with my coworkers to treat them to lunch and the waiters were nice/efficient. The food is good for sharing and came out quickly. I ordered the Pho Ga and the quantity was good for the price. The flavor was a little bland but was fixed with the sauces provided. I also went back and ordered the spring rolls and chicken skewers which were flavorful and filling as well.

On a Saturday afternoon (~2pm), I headed to Dorchester to explore the Vietnamese food scene. The establishment was still almost full, though a server cleaned up a table and got me seated in 5 minutes. I made my order for the #30 Bun bo hue dac biet / Spicy Hue Style Noodle Soup - Special ($14.95). It arrived 2 minuets after I placed my order. The Bun bo hue dac biet, is, according to the menu, a "spicy lemongrass beef soup with sliced beef shin, pork hock, pork paste, and beef tendon served with sliced banana blossom, cabbage, bean sprouts, herbs and lime." Certainly, the variety of meats, and portion size, did not disappoint. The chili crisp, of which you can add more via a jar on the table, added a decent amount of heat that creeps up over time. It also had a savory funkiness for an extra depth of flavor (unless you don't like the fish sauce type of umami). One nitpick I have is that the soup needs to be hotter, especially since the provided side vegetables (bean sprouts, jalapeno, basil), sap heat. What was an ok hot broth turned lukewarm.

Meh. I can appreciate that they have a good amount of authentic dishes, but overall taste isn't there for me. Ordered through DoorDash, got the banh hoi with pork (vermicelli noodle sheets with veggies to make your own spring rolls). Pork was pretty good, but the herbs were definitely nearing their end. Also got the nem nuong spring rolls (grilled sausage). The sauce was pretty bland, so didn't add much to the overall dish. The lotus root salad was pretty good, but the pork belly was 99% fat and the shrimp had a funky taste to it. Not sure if I would return, perhaps once more in person to give it another shot but definitely not takeout.

Came here for lunch right at opening on a Saturday morning and we were seated as soon as our entire party arrived. We had a group of 8+ people so they gave us a larger table in the back and were taken care of right away - pretty decent service! The folks working were patient as we had to wait a while for everyone to arrive and they were efficient at taking our orders. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, albeit there was a huge difference in some people getting their orders 15+ minutes before others; overall, I would work on trying to get orders out at the same time, but we had a larger group so I understand that might be harder. The pho itself was pretty delicious - I got the classic dac biet/combination soup and was pretty satisfied. It tasted good, was a good portion, and I left full and happy. Overall, this place is a solid spot for pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Their rice plates also looked good and I wouldn't mind trying that as well as some of their drinks in the future!

This is my 2nd or 3rd visit to this place. Its consistent each time, and I'm glad to find that they have a dedicated parking lot for customers. It fits quite a bit of cars, actually...though the spaces are bit tight. The restaurant decor is what you'd expect, typical viet restaurant...however, the only thing worthy of calling out was that it was dimly lit. I think they were going for a romantic vibe...but I don't know how any viet restaurant like this could pass for that. The staff were friendly and was ready to answer my questions about the menu. The food came out accurately and timely. The family enjoyed the meal. I think their broth was a little on the salty side. The fried egg rolls and fresh spring rolls were okay. I'm not from the Dorchester area, so I don't eat pho here frequently, but I do eat pho more regularly in the western boston and allston/brighton areas. Many will think I'm crazy but I kind of like places liek Pho Viets and Pho Viets II better than this place. My family really liked Pho Le though, so I'm in the minority for sure. If you're in Dorchester, the 2 best pho places are Pho Le and Pho Hao, which is right across the streeet and also has a parking lot next to theirs. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, since I'm in the minority in my opinion about this place. I personally would give Pho Le's 3 stars but the family really like it so I'll do 4 stars.

Stopped in on a weekday night for dinner. The space is much bigger than it appears on the outside. Tables are a little close to each other but they still have the plexiglass up. We were seated immediately, and the waiter stopped by to drop off hot tea and took our orders.I ordered my go to, pho tai in the large size. I asked for the bean sprouts cooked and they were nice enough to accommodate! They give plenty of herbs; more than enough I would say. First impression of the soup was that it was pretty clear, piping hot and good flavor without being salty. Beef slices were tender and plenty. Very satisfying bowl of soup, I finished the entire bowl!We had to flag down waitstaff anytime we needed anything but this is as expected. Overall a good experience, we will be back!

The food is delicious, fresh and hot. Service is efficient and friendly without being overly so. Atmosphere is vibrant with lots of people from the neighborhood, families, and college students.
