Pho La Jolla

Love it!!! Came here twice and the food was delicious. The vermicelli noodles with pork was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was great and the young men who greeted me were very nice. Also, give the meatball pho a try!!!

We were on a lunch break from a conference and ventured here. I wanted to love it as we have many Vietnamese places in Hawaii. Sadly I was disappointed. Service was slow and there was no ac. Eating phõ in a hot restaurant is horrible. My tofu bahn mi was good though I only wanted the sandwich and not meal which seemed to be an option according to the menu. I was already ordering phõ so would not need another soup nor rolls. The server did not seem to understand and brought me a meal and charged me for it. The phõ was plentiful. However, due to the uncomfortable atmosphere, I could not enjoy my food. The sandwich was more than enough therefore I could not indulge in the phõ so that was a total waste. The bbq pork was like char siu and a huge disappointment that my brother just left it. The workers seemed friendly, just slow to arrive with food or replenishing drinks.

It's a tradition with me when it rains, find myself a pho restaurant to eats at...sure enough wonders by here. When I walked in, the place was pretty empty with only one table were seat with a party of four.Within 10 minutes, the restaurant become filled with patrons. I don't blame it because when I walked in and was greeted by its sweet aroma of pho broth. While I ponder on the menu on what shall I have with the pho dish. This place is promoting these pepper chicken for $19.90. I figured why not give that a try. Well, I think it's Vietnamese style of pepper chicken wings they covered it with oyster sauce!! Ugh, not the pepper chicken wings that I'm used to. But they are quite juicy and tender. It's more on the sweeter side for this dish. I'm used to pepper chicken on the salty and peppery ...To each our own.

Great food been coming here for a couple of times . Love there spring rolls . Their service was meh..... but they do have outside dining .

Quick and convenient from work. Got a combo different from the one I ordered but decided not to fuss about it. The veggie assortment with the Bun combo (vermicelli salad) is lacking- lettuce onion tomato.. no mint/herbs. No peanuts :( Sauce is good. Chicken is soft and not dry. Will try to order beef again next time.

Staff is super friendly. The food itself is good, but I wouldn't say great. I typically order rare steak pho, and the meat and noodle portion is perfect, but the broth needs a little something extra. I do come back for convenience of location and if I'm craving pho and don't want to go too far.

So sad! We used to go to this place all the time because it was so great. It's just getting worse and worse! Not only do they keep raising their prices but it comes with half the amount of broth. The broth doesn't even cover the other ingredients which they have skimped out on too. Not good anymore :( BUMMER!

The pho here is okay- works to satisfy the craving if nothing else around. The meats were pretty bad quality and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook the raw meat. The broth was also lacking flavor and didn't taste like normal pho broth. The BBQ pork fried rice was pretty decent. Service was okay. Took a while to flag someone down if anything was needed.

This is my first time eating sit down here since my last visits were during COVID and it was only to-go. There is a ton of seating inside and great for large groups. You walk up to let the host (who I believe is the owner) know your party is eating in and you pick your seat while they go get you water. The menu is pretty simple with pho, sandwiches, noodles, etc. happy hour also has a great discount on drinks! With such large portions, you honestly can just order one item and it's enough for two people. Our pho and grilled pork sandwich were DELICIOUS. I didn't realize how much I missed this place and the atmosphere made me feel so relaxed and comfortable to just hang out with my friend and chat. Always happy with the Thai tea too.

Service was terrible had to get up and ask for everything never checked on unfriendly staff.
