Pho Hung Cali 3

The vermicelliwith beef and egg rolls was very delicious, had a good serving of shrimp spring roll which was very satisfying. Our friend got the BBQ beef sandwich, she was happy after eating it. Thai tea with Boba was yummy on a warm day. The cashier guy was friendly and fast.

This is their third location with the first two in Chula Vista. It's not your typical pho place like in City Heights or Clairemont because they don't offer all the side options in certain dishes due to their customer base.For example, for rice, they don't offer broken rice dishes just steam rice. Their menu is real basic with appetizers, sandwiches, steam rice, noodles, pho and drinks. They don't offer shredded pork or egg loaf in rice or bun dishes.We ended up getting #R1 which was steam rice with bbq filet mignon. Also got #V6 vermicelli with shrimp and egg rolls. The food was average. The bbq filet could have been more tender and softer. There were three egg rolls and 4 shrimps. Shredded lettuce, cucumber is underneath the noodles.Pho Hung is located behind Nike in the second part of the shopping center.

Was shopping in outlet and ran into this place. The place was clean ... the service was fast! The staff was friendly and the food was excellent! The pho soup is on point! I eat pho soup from Orange County .. and this was a good for being sooooo far from Oc!Highly recommend! Before and after pics!Finished all of it!

Pho is good. Portions are smaller than usual. 3 stars because serving boiling hot soup in plastic is sketchy for health, and terrible for the environment. All love though

Not bad, broth is great. Noodles are cooked right. Will definitely come here again.

It was really empty so I was kinda sketched about the food but the pho turned out really good. Granted serving any hot liquid in a plastic bowl seems sketchy, but the pho was refreshing and tasty. Would come again!

So disappointed! I am a big fan of the pho hung Cali food chains & I stopped by their new location since it's the closest to my house & I was truly let down. First off they don't offer the chili oil sauce at this location, which in my opinion is a huge let down because this chili oil sauce binds all the flavors together. Secondly, they give you ALL plastic utensil, which is really hardto eat with when you are eating any type of soup, let alone pho that has meat and heavy noodles to scoop up, at one point my fork was bent & the noodle almost slapped me in the face LOL! The flavors are verySimilar to the other locations, but I wouldn't come back. I would rather drive the extra 5 miles to the Chula Vista location.I would come back if they offered the chili oil, the plastic utensils I can deal with. 4-stars since the food was still good!

This place is brand new, so I figured I would try it out. They have pictures of their food, so it's easy to find something to eat. I ordered the shrimp and pork summer spring rolls and the beef and rice combo. The staff also very friendly as well.

Pho is pretty good. What irked me is they don't serve glasses of water, you have to buy bottles. There are no napkins at table they only give a few and the utensils are all plastic. I guess it's because it's at a mall but... they could do better if they wanted.

Most of the time I wouldn't expect much from mall food but this Vietnamese spot exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely go back next time we are at Las Americas outlet. I'd go as far as to say the chicken Banh mí was just as good as all the ones eaten while in Vietnam! Freshly baked bread, crunchy pickled veggies and tasty bbq chicken!
