Pho Hung Cali 2

We order to go twice and was very surprised how tasty it was. So far we ordered the pork banh mi sandwiches (super tasty and great size for the $), curry with chicken, espresso w/ condensed cream, and shrimp spring rolls. Love that it's not far from home, and whenever we place a pickup order it's quick and not too long of a wait!

This is my factor pho in allOf San Diego. The flavor is intense and always piping hot even after having driven home 20 mins. The rare beef is always very fresh. I always ask for it on the side. I love their spring rolls and they always give you enough peanut sauce. Service is always quick. The inside the clean and welcoming.

I see this place from time to time as I drive by and today was the day I stopped in to try some pho, I was not disappointed! I really wanted a veggie style soup but with chicken as well so for an additional cost they brought out chicken on the side. The pho was perfectly seasoned, I've gotten better at tasting my dishes before adding hot sauce or seasoning and I'm glad I tried this first! The veggie pho was amazing, I wasn't sure about the broccoli at first but it paired well with the rest of the veggies and tofu. The service was good, staff was helpful and friendly as well. It's a quaint little spot that I will definitely return to so I can try out other dishes.

Ate here after a very stressful day. The food was okay. I appreciated that they were open. Good place to come when running errands in the area.

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed my visits. The pho has good flavor and the rice plates are probably the best I've had (at least in the South Bay area). Portion sizes are decent and the menu prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a Viet restaurant with bomb rice plates, I'd highly recommend this spot!

This was soooooo delicious! I'm already thinking about coming back here again because of how amazing all of the food was. The man that served us was also the absolute sweetest. Mixer try the pho and bahn mi!

I come here often and have always enjoyed the food but after tonight I will never come back. My family and I had just finished our food and it tasted great no issues with the food or service until I saw the employee bus a table who left. He kept the plate with sprouts and basil and put it on top of the cart he had. I found that odd being that normally food is thrown in the trash that's with the cart he was pushing. I had a clear shot to the kitchen where I was sitting and I witnessed him grab the plate and put it to the side next to the food line. Absolutely disgusting! I got up to walk to the bathroom to verify that was the plate it was sitting there not thrown in the trash. There is no other reason why that would be saved unless they planned on reusing it.

This spot is conveniently located in the strip mall across from Aldi's and a short detour from 54. If you have been to the first location, this one is a contrast with smaller size, ample parking, fast food-like decor, and thankfully cleaner.After shopping, I wanted something quick and went with the bun/cold noodle vermicelli with beef and eggroll. There is no shortage of Vietnamese in the area but this one is convenient when I am on the road. The dish was tasty. I am still looking for a spot that actually grills their meat.

I have eaten here twice. First time, I ordered pad Thai and chicken egg rolls. Everything tasted great, except chicken in pad Thai was overcooked. 2nd visit I had shrimp pho. Very deliscious. Would order again.

We ate an early lunch there on, Thu, 5/30/24, around 1030 am. We were the only customers.The good:*Piping hot soup is excellent. The taste is good but nothing spectacular.The bad:*Dirty utensils storage*Dirty sriracha, and hoisin sauce squeeze bottles.* Watery peanut sauce- Easy fix, thicken it just a little so it will adhere better to the fresh rolls* Wilted and dry mint leaves*Fly inside- The door is wide open. The inside of the restaurant is hot.The in-between:* 6 thin pieces of beef*5 pieces of med-large shrimpAll the problems can easily be corrected with a little attention to detail. Good luck! Note: We've been there once about a year ago. Things were ok then.
