Pho Hoa Linda Vista

My family has been long time customers of this restaurant's pho. Even when Vietnamese family out of town visit, we've come here as a large group and have never had to wait for seating.The food is solid and reliable. We also like to get takeout to bring home and eat. The takeout portion is large!! Bigger than when dining in, so we usually turn 2 takeout orders into 3.Only downsides are they are cash only and if it's been a hot day, the inside of restaurant will be extremely hot (they don't cool it well). We dined here some evening and I had to take off my clothes down to tank top. Outside seating was much cooler but we're afraid of being bitten by mosquitoes.Parking is plentiful and easy in a large grocery complex.

Been going here for years but this is my first time spotting a cockroach in my pho. (0/5)Customer service here is amazing and the people here are very nice! (4/5)Had my bowl replaced and ate a little bit of the new bowl but couldn't Finnish it since more cockroaches were probably in the broth pot... (0/5) for potential serving be contaminated cockroach pho broth...I paid in full and left. Sad that this will be my last time going here...

I got the small Đặc biệt phổ hòa, and while it was the smallest pho bowl I've ever seen in the States, they packed that bowl to the brim!I was so happy with the meat and noodle portions, and found the meat to be very flavorful. The broth, however, was a little flat for me, which is why I can only give 4 stars. It's super close to my brother's home though, and will work nicely for any sudden pho cravings.Cheers!

Note: CASH only (atm on site)I haven't been here in decades. It used to be the place to go with our parents but there are so many other pho restaurants with the new generation that we don't come back. The price is very affordable at $12.25-$13.25 compared to average $17 at other places. We got the large bowl to share and the noodle portion was a lot! We also got the beef stew. That was made to order and the meat was so tender. If we come back, I would go for the large beef stew not pho.

Place is located off Linda Vista Rd in a shopping centers. Yum Yum donuts is right beside it. The library is right behind the restaurant. Parking is shared with other business. The main thing to know is it's cash only. There is an ATM inside. We ordered a bunch of food. Pictured here is Pho 17, I believe Rice 27, Egg rolls and Thai tea with boba.Service was good and quick. The food was great. The broth was excellent and flavorful. Really hits the spot. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy. I would recommend this spot to my family and friends. If I'm in the area I'll go for sure. If I'm craving pho I might have to make the trip from my place to this spot.

Cash only but ATM available inside. By far one of the best pho bowls in San Diego. The broth is super flavorful. A nice savory broth with a hint of the right sweetness that hits your pallet. No need to add anything extra but the fresh basil and veggies surely can elevate it if you decide to. The menu is simple and straightforward. This place is truly what the menu says; "Special Rice Noodle Beef Soup."

I went here for lunch and it definitely satisfied my craving for pho. I was seated right away and ordering and food delivery was very quick, much to what I've been accustomed to at pho places. I ordered the spring rolls and seafood pho which were both very good. After we were finished eating, I wanted a to go box but was having a hard time finding the waitress and instead went up to the register. Not a big deal at all since I paid and was able to get the box. Next time the pho craving hits, I will be back.

The pho here has to be our personal favorite that we've had in SD so far. Super flavorful broth - in our opinion.The noodles are cooked perfectly too - just enough so that they have some bite and a nice chew. Served with a good amount of noodles and protein as well. Bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil are super fresh. Egg rolls served with the lettuce & mint. Delicious.Food arrives VERY fast. This business is cash only.

Cash only spot located in Linda Vista neighborhood strip mall. I ordered the pho ga (chicken) to go. Everything came neatly packed in separate containers. The broth was not good - tasted like salt water and had a slight tang to it. The chicken was also very mushy, ended up not finishing the dish because I couldn't get through it.

Finally authentic Bun Bo Hue near my work that doesn't shy away from putting in the chunks of pork blood as it calls for!! And they are kind and sweet, service with a smile and attentive not only to white customers which is the experience I usually get. For a fair price compared to other places nearby my work, not only that they have great portioning, meaning I'm not getting two slices of meat, two small chunks of pork blood. I'm paying about $13 here as opposed to a watery $16 somewhere else where it's not authentic and less par customer service. It's a mom and pop shop with mom and pop working and this is my now go to spot. It's cash only, ATM inside but I just went to the grocery store next door and bought something and got cash back so no biggies. My mission to find this kind of place is finally OVER!!! Thank you guys!!
