Pho Hiep & Grill

This is my go to spot for some quick and fresh Vietnamese food. Usually get the rice and noodles dishes. The pho isn't the best here, but the other soup dishes are good.The fish sauce is delicious and the egg rolls are on point. The bobba tea is good also.This place doesn't have ac, you should try to avoid this place during the hot afternoons and visit early evening or morning.Been coming here since this place opened, other than Pho HOA this is it for my Vietnamese cuisine.

***Discrimination*** I came here to enjoy a meal and it was the way I had to pay in cash and right away. I couldn't even walk in and take a seat without paying..... and I was really excited for the food a friend had recommended me this place. Then of course I thought nothing of it until a group of Vietnamese elders came in and they just got to walk in, sit down, and have menus and water serviced to them without any hesitation. It is insane that in 2024 you elder folks cannot have better judgement of a customer who was not only nice and cooperative with the weird exchange, but just excited to sit and enjoy some Vietnamese food. Then once you all notice the difference in greetings you had with me compared to your customers who look like you, you all knew you were wrong. Even your children know better in 2024 and that's why some just stay away from you because they know right from wrong from what I hear and witness. Treat your customers all the same in 2024 going into 2025 in these times that's $19.50 I wasted that I can easily get back compared to your time, merchandise, I was going to tip "SMH" and now reputation..... I am sure the food was good, but after that I could not support it. I just wanted to enjoy my food and not think about my race. Stop making things about race through your actions and just do right by your business and service your customers better.PS: I stopped drinking the Thai tea after they brought it out first once I saw the difference in interaction. I waited to receive my order that I didn't ask for TO-GO..... then I threw it away. I wanted to sit down and eat smh. ‍ They did not want me in there, were smiling in my face, take my money, and treat me differently for what reason other than my ethnicity. In 2024 let's move forward PLEASE LORD it's getting old. You will never enjoy life being ignorant. You didn't feel as wrong as I felt when doing that interactions. I know you all saw my smile go to a frown I was really looking forward to the food smh ‍.

This place is seriously so cheap and good. The pho flavor is like every other solid pho joint but it's just way cheaper. I ordered a rice dish too with egg rolls and grilled beef and it was delicious. Service was quick and they were nice

We had a pho and vermicelli bowl. Pretty good. There's definitely better places so I don't think I'd personally come back but it's alright.

This is my go to spot and I've tried almost all the Pho in SD. I would say that there are other places that maybe have better meat/toppings or better apps and other Viet dishes, but why I love it is the broth. If you want some flavorful bone broth type soup that has plenty of fat, this is an elite spot. It's almost a ramen type broth with a lot of salty umami flavors(plenty of fish sauce). The staff barely speak English, but are very nice. You don't go to pho to get waited on by some posh server or a dumb college kid. You get straight to it, point out what you want and they bring out some slow cooked homemade goodness. 5 stars.

I had ordered food for pick up on my lunch hour and never been here before. I was on a time crunched, so I ordered the pho soup. It took me like 20Mins to get here and when I arrived they said they only take CASH!! I was like seriously I had only my debit card with me. I told them I wish they would have told me on the phone it's cash only! I was not happy and now I had to rush to a different place to get food. So heads up they don't take any kind of cards!!

Love this place so much! It was my bf's first time trying their Pho and he loved it! He got the #1 and I got a chicken plate and I added shrimp we also got their crispy rolls. Our servers were sweet as well c:

Their vermicelli with grilled pork is usually really solid here. A small downside is the pork is very fatty so I end up throwing about a third of my meat away. They do give you a lot of grilled pork so it does not make much of a difference to me. The grilled pork is marinated really well and is very juicy. The shredded pork and eggrolls are not the best. It doesn't seem fresh to me. So I have learned my lesson, the only thing I get from this place is the vermicelli with grilled pork. Parking is super easy here so that is a plus for me. The restaurant is usually not crowded and their staff is always friendly.

This is the only place where my husband and I choose to eat Bun Bo Hue. Why? It's the best in town!Food: 5/5- 2x Bun Bo Hue-- tasty broth, clean and clear. Pork blood made the soup more appetizing. Best part, for me, was the combo of coagulated blood with spicy anchovy sauce. Loved it!Service: 3.5/5Tina was friendly and pleasant to talk to.We'll be back for more Bun Bo Hue!
