I was in the area looking for a "buhn mi" of course I had to Yelp to help me find a place. Found it. Ordered online to pick up using Grubhub - unfortunately my order was not ready when I arrived. The dining room was very busy. The person in front of me was ordering food to go. The dining area is small could fit about 20-25 patrons. It isn't a lunch date area unless you are in a comfortable relationship then yeah feel free to have a seat.My Buhn mi was beef and good. I was starving. I will try again when I can let you all know if it good or great.

Upon walking in we were greeted right away and told to sit anywhere we pleased. On a late Friday night, the restaurant was pretty busy considering there aren't many dining options open past 9 pm in the area. My partner had ordered a large pho and the waitress recommended I try the Bun Bo Hue, which was my first time trying that dish. I've heard a lot of raves about Bun Bo Hue and was excited to give it a try. When the waitress brought our utensils, we requested a new set because the ones we were given appeared to have left over food residue. On the spoons, you can see a brownish-red substance that usually occurs over time when not scrubbed properly. The forks were not cleaned well also. When she came to replace the utensils, one of the spoons were still dirty and one was much cleaner. So, we decided to not to bother them anymore regarding this and didn't use the spoon. As far as the tastiness of the food, I'd say it was mediocre (and my partner agreed with me on this as well). Both broths were bland and lacking flavor. My boyfriend's pho, was primarily noodles and not enough meat. Therefore, the meat to noodle ratio was definitely not even. The Bun Bo Hue just tasted like Pho broth with the addition of spicy chili powder or flakes. It was certainly disappointing. However, the waiter was friendly and patient. She checked in with us and the other customers after we received our food. I have no complaints regarding the service but, unfortunately we won't be returning.

pretty decent pho - i'd get again if i was in this area. weirdly enough i am obsessed with the Salt and Pepper Wings and i might drive my ass out there from tacoma to go get these wings again. i only ordered from here after deciding that my friend and i would like pho after i go up to sea tac to pick her up and we decided to add on the wings cause they looked so good. i am SO happy i did. i was so hungry i ate one in the car before she arrived -- it was SO hard to resist as i am 100% japanese and it is NOT okay to eat before anyone else. but it was either disappoint my ancestors or pass out from hunger . anyway, it was so good i ate another and then had to stop. on the drive over i told my friend how good the wings were and she was excited but worried it was going to be soggy by the time she got to try them but i picked her up, we drove home, and she finally got her hands on one and it was still crispy! oh also i don't ever usually clean the chicken bone but i did this one cause it was so delicious. crispy outside juicy inside and garlic all over - say less! can this be a perfume?! moral of the story: GET THE WINGS! you will not be disappointed. yes, chicken wings from a pho place just do it #nike

Still continue to love their pho! Although, sad their prices increased by about $10 each bowl, but still worth it with the quality they give.I ordered the oxtail while my husband remains for the go to order of the crispy chicken. Chicken is STILL super crispy on the outside and falls off the bone. Oxtail is SUPER tender, falls off the bone! Broth isnt watered down.Place continues to not get overcrowded whenever we visit on a Friday night. There is occasionally another couple or another family in there when we visit. We still get our food in a timely manner, 10 minutes for our food to arrive.Overall, will still continue to visit. Absolutely love this pho place.

This review is long overdue!!! Specifically for vegans I discovered this place when I was searching Yelp for late night pho. There are a few other places on the Southside of town but being vegan, not everyone offers vegetarian broth. This place was low on the list but from all of my experiences, it should be #1.The first item I tried was the pho; it was phenomenal!! The flavour, the fullness of the bowl, and everything in between was delicious. They're very accommodating with asks as well. I, now, order the vegetarian fried rice and also the tofu bahn mi. Again, everyone is so accommodating when I ask them to remove things. They get it right every time!!!!!The ambiance is relaxing and not over the top. Funny enough, it actually gets pretty busier during their late night hours. Being open until 12am on weekends and 11pm every other day, how can you beat that?! This place has become one of my top #3.

It saddens me that I am writing this review but I am appalled with the thoughtlessness in food prep and safety. I ordered the fusion sampler and tofu bahn mi. When eating the egg roll, I pulled out a hard, sharp object that could've easily been ingested. I was worried about eating the sandwich after which I took one bite and it was completely inedible. I'm incredibly disappointed and door dash only offered to refund a portion of my meal. I will not be ordering from here again.

We decided to make a point to try every pho restaurant in the area and this was one of them. Not only was the delicious, but honestly everything we tried had nothing but flavor. We were so excited to try a little bits and pieces of the menu throughout but my one big favor was the fish sauce wings. They were absolutely fire, and I wish they came in larger quantities because I would order them again and again. Definitely worth the visits and definitely worth the money!

Our regular go to spot for Com Tam, it is the best here in federal way in my opinion! The service there is always nice and they have contemporary vibes. They get pretty busy at night. Our only negative is the pho is not the greatest here, we taste alot of cinnamon mainly. Still would recommend this place to a friend with their other dishes! They also have the best fish sauce wings in federal way!

This is one of my favorite pho places in the area, and best of all, they are open late. The ambiance is casual, but there is table service that is prompt and friendly. My go-to is the combination pho. It is always fresh and flavorful. I also had the Bun Bo Hue, which was quite impressive and a nice change if you want something other than pho. The price is also not terrible for all you get, and I always have leftovers. The problem is they don't heat up as well, and the soup tastes far better in-house than via delivery. All in all, it's a solid bowl of pho in Federal Way.

The place is sooooo dirty. I've been to some dirty places and can kinda handle it, but this one comes in at number one. Food is okay, but even service is lacking. They gave me a to-go box with dried rice inside. I told them & they didn't even apologize and just gave me a new one.
