I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could. Not a 5 only because the prices are pretty high for a Viet restaurant, but it is close to downtown so that could be a reason for the pricing. Had a regular pho with well done beef and it was great! The broth tasted really good. The place is clean and the service was amazing! My food was basically out by the time I sat down haha. Would recommend this place!

Mehhh. I found the beef broth to be greasy, although flavored well. Spring rolls left much to be desired, nothing but iceburg. Service was poor. $14 for a bowl of photos and lettuce...not again.

This place is for those who would like a variety of options but have food ADD. They serve both, teriyaki and pho with a variety of each. I haven't tried the pho (although I probably should have). I ordered an avocado salad special that comes with chicken breast, avocado, and lettuce.Honestly, I wouldn't consider what I ordered a "meal". The chicken was rubbery with fake grill marks on it and was smushed down to a couple centimeters thick. The size of the chicken breast was no bigger than my index finger and no thicker than my pinky finger. The portion size did not look like the picture (lush, full, and delicious). I've never seen a more measley chicken breast ever. I don't think this was from a real chicken. The half avocado was fresh. The lettuce was cut up into bite size pieces. I'm always sad when a salad is just a bunch of lettuce with no thought put into it. Eating healthy should be enjoyable. Here, it wasn't. Everyone else's pho smelled really good. I'd probably be back to try it at some point. This place gets packed with the lunchtime crowd. 3 stars because I believe in you and will be back.

One thing I never thought I would miss when I left Seattle and moved to a red state was pho. This place is one of my old favorites that was near to my 'hood. I was initially compelled to eat here because of the name. Seems like something you could write a song about:Take me down to the Pho City where the pho is great and the tea is shittyOk, perhaps not. But at least, the food is good and affordable.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch the other day & was pleasantly surprised! Pho Ga had lots of chicken & the broth was tasty. The small was $5 (pretty standard), service was quick & friendly. I was here around 1:30ish & there was still a decent lunch crowd. Interesting mix of people (business & other neighborhood characters). I am actually excited to swing back by here & check out the bahn mi place next door.

HORRIBLE! Cold Food & Rude Service.Ordered a rice noodle dish with shrimp. It was served to me and was cold. The noodles were cold. The sauteed veggies and shrimp on top were cold. The shrimp were not very well deveined either. I suppose it might have all tasted ok if it wasn't cold, but I was not interested. I took it back and explained that it was cold and I didn't like that and asked for my money back. The man behind the counter staunchly told me that "it was my problem". I only argued with him a little bit - I did want my money back - but he did not budge. I can't bare to be disrecptful and make scenes in restaurants, it was hard enough just to compain. I ended up taking my food in a to-go box, but after that I was just angry and threw it away anyway.Rude service. Cold food.As a side note the atmosphere (not that it matters to most) was kind of silly and annoying. The place wasn't uncleanly or anything, just weird inside. They had a tv on of some strange dude giving piano lessons. That's what * I * want to listen to over my serene cold food lunch, piano lessons. Arrrgh.

What happened to you Pho City? 4 years ago when I worked in the area I couldn't get enough of your delicious pho, at one point even voted you for best pho is Seattle. Was in a few weeks ago and it is not the same... overly sweet broth, subpar chewy brisket, had to practically tackle anyone to get a water let alone a refill. The staff must be felling a bit underwhelmed as well, the gentleman who manned the counter was always super friendly and welcoming but I never saw him smile once. Hopefully it was just a fluke and one day I will return to what used to be the old awesomeness of pho city :(

Where do you go when you're in the SODO district on a cold winter afternnon for a stamy bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup? Pho City. They are super fast, fairly friendly, and pretty clean. The broth is rich and flavorful. They provided a generous amount of veggies as well as meat and noodles. The price was a little high.

The pho combination is good but could use some more additional meat selection. Order at the counter and they bring out pretty quick, I guess they know there's no time to take a break especially around lunch time...in and out. Check out their other selections of combinations...

Just left. I had a superior, huge bowl of Pho with vegetables and tofu. Service quick, very clean place. Modest, family fun business. Staff friendly. I loved the presentation of the food the carrots had scalloped edges! (See picture) It is on the way to Costco, will definitely return
