After a week of feeling under the weather, we decided to visit this place for a warm bowl of pho. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated in a very quiet and clean environment. We knew exactly what we wanted: I ordered the chicken pho with extra veggies and some tofu spring rolls, which are listed under the vegetarian options on the menu. My husband chose a spicy soup with udon noodles that looked absolutely amazing. We also shared a Thai boba tea, which was delicious, with fresh boba and great flavor. The tofu spring rolls arrived first with an exquisite peanut sauce; we appreciated getting two servings of it. The pho broth was flavorful even without herbs, basil, or spices, and the restaurant provided mint, basil, lemon, and other special touches. I particularly enjoyed the tangy sour sauce next to my chicken pho, which added a punch to the soup. My husband liked his broth and noodles, noting the tenderness of the meat and the perfect cooking of the other proteins. He wished the soup had been spicier, but he was content overall. The restaurant offers plenty of parking and has a charming outdoor patio that we plan to try next time. This place was very nice, so we will definitely be back.

We've been to pho ca dao a few times now, esp when we need to make a Costco or IKEA run and this latest time I noticed a cocktail menu, maybe it was always there before but that surprised me. For $11, the my pho smash was pretty solid. It was refreshing and just enough alcohol.Service was super fast and accommodating, they were really nice about letting us switch tables when the first one we sat at had a draft. Food also all came out relatively quickly and altogether after ordering. I enjoyed the egg rolls we ordered for our appetizer, crunchy with balanced filling, but oddly enough for an order of 3 egg rolls, we only got 2 pieces of lettuce to wrap it in. My pho with brisket was decent. I was a bit annoyed that they serve it pretty full in a shallow bowl because it made it hard to add the bean sprouts and mint and mix it in without making a big mess. The broth was ok and the brisket portion was good.

This is one of my favorite go to spots.Today, Long (I apologize if I misspelled your name) made phenomenal drinks. I really enjoyed the elder flower drink, it was refreshing and delicious! You are incredibly talented with your drink making skills. I also really enjoyed my painkiller. Most places do not know how to make a good painkiller and often use the wrong ingredients. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and sharing your delicious talents with us.I enjoyed the vegetarian grilled tofu bun. My friend really enjoyed the Shrimp, Lemon grass and tofu bun.I love being able to sit outside and enjoy myself. There is ample parking, delicious food, great drinks and a nice time.

The food got about 3 stars from me on taste, as I am familiar with their menu items from their original location on El Cajon Blvd, but for everything else here from display, decorations, spaces, parking, service, ambience were just better than their main location.I literally passing by this restaurant countless time when I shopped at Costco in the same plaza. They have a bigger space, modern décor, the robots brought food to us along with the server, their food got a very nice demonstration for your eyes especially if you test them with your phone camera, the bar and the large patio accommodated large groups and meetings, the thai tea with bobas can use a little more time to cook the bobas, as they were sticky and lumpy. Overall a great place to hang out for the weekends with big parties.

I came her for my birthday with my family. The hostess said she would bring me something and she never did. The service was 5/10 they didn't come to see how we were and we waiting about 20 minutes to flag someone down to get the check. Almost $100 dollars later for four people and a baby. I don't think it was worth the $100. The food was 7/10. Like I wouldn't go get it again. I feel like I've had another location and it was better. My husband didn't like his pho, I enjoyed the chicken dish plate and so did my mom. I also don't know why no one was coming to the table because the place was empty on a Saturday evening. We were like the 3rd family there. It didn't make sense.

Yo, when I rolled up to Pho Ca Dao on my way to IKEA, I wasn't expecting to get my grub on like that, but dang, this spot was straight fire! Their Pho Dac Biet and Ox Tail were off the hook, great protein to noodle ratio. No need to spice it up with Sriracha or hoisin sauce 'cause the broth was already droppin' flavors like nobody's business. The vibe was cool, but they gotta pump up the jams in there, ya feel me? The service was great, and I would've given this place a 5 star if they had music playin, but overall great experience!

This restaurant has below average Vietnamese food (coming from a Vietnamese reviewer). I was skeptical of it at first since it's a chain vs. an authentic/hole in the wall restaurant and I was right to be. I went on a Sunday night and they were out of multiple dishes I was hoping to try (Banh Xeo and Salted Pepper Chicken Wings). Grilled Beef Spring Rolls: 9/10 the only solid dish of the night. Vegetables tasted fresh and the beef had a nice flavor. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that went with it, not too strong/overpowering Grilled Pork Spring Rolls: 5/10 pork spring rolls are typically my go to but this pork didn't have much flavor and had an odd texture Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls Rice Noodle Salad Bowl: 5/10 the pork was the same pork that came in the spring rolls, again pretty bland and had a soft easy fall apart like texture. The egg roll was meh. The bowl was filled with vermicelli noodles that were in one large clump at the bottom. The ratio was just off Bun Bo Hue (Hue Spicy Noodle Soup): 6.5/10 the broth was bland and did not have the usual spicy kick. Bun Bo Hue is one of my top favorite Vietnamese dishes and this Bun Bo Hue was so disappointing. Filet Mignon and Vietnamese Meatball Pho: 6/10 the beef was served in one big clump and the middle of the clump was raw and was hard to get fully cooked since the broth was barely steaming. The noodles again were served in one big clump that took some effort to break up. Not served with hoisin or sriracha on the side which this broth needed unfortunately

3.5 StarsThe service itself is fantastic and they were very friendly and accommodating. The establishment itself was clean and nice. Loved the interior. Location is good if you want pho on a Costco or Ikea run.The food itself was meh. It's not super good and it's not super bad. It was good and it fills you up but it's nothing that blows your mind. We got the salt and pepper wings which are pretty small and loaded with butter. How can that not be tasty but also it wasn't anything special. The pho tai also was good but there wasn't anything special about it. The pork broken rice dish was the best out of the lot but 4 stars at best out of 5.I would say we loved the eating environment though and the service and would come back for that.

Very well made! The broth was made to perfection! All our pho came with lots of meat and noodles. Pho was offered in regular and XL, which was great! Service was fast and our waiter was wonderful, memorized our order without writing anything down for a table of 6! The restaurant has a bar with a very trendy modern interior! Food was great for sure! Another SD HIT!

As someone who dislikes pho, I enjoyed their special pho. It was the first time I enjoyed pho... or I was just really hungry. 1 star reviews are outrageous. The lowest I could see someone giving this place is maybe a 3 for having a bad experience. Overall their pho and Vietnamese coffee is elite.
