This is simply a go-to spot in town! It's got a great atmosphere, chic decor for a Pho spot and MUCH cheaper than most of your new "hip" pho spots in central Houston.I am a big advocate of their spring rolls because they use their banh mi meat and it is just out of this world! I haven't found many spots that serve a more unique menu of spring rolls.Their pho is delicious, it's got plenty of flavor and a great feel good dish after a busy week.I highly recommend this place, the people here are so welcoming!

Ordered a vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and bo luc lac through Uber eats. The noodles were so soft and overcooked to the point they kept splitting whenever I tried to take a bite. To top it off, there were pieces of a shrimp shell inside the veggies that came with the *chicken* vermicelli bowl, so if you have food allergies, be careful...The beef was tough and lacked any type of sear or glaze it typically should have. It was overcooked and sweet. Not worth the price at all. Overall a disappointing experience.

Apparently I come here at least once a week. Food is so affordable and fresh and quickly made. The cafe sua de or the Vietnamese iced coffee is where it's at. It's so strong it causes tachycardia and you can split it over two days or over the course of a long day.

Friendly staff as soon as you walk in! I took a look at the menu and everything was decently price. My sandwich was only about $6.This restaurant is located in a plaza with a Kroger Grocery store. It's so cute inside HOWEVER I ordered my food to go. My order was ready in 10 minutes. Great Vietnamese flavors!Next time I'm in Texas, I'll be visiting this place again.

Pho Ben has been my go-to spot for pho in the Heights. Located in the same plaza as Kroger, there are plenty of parking available which is hard to come by for restaurants in the Heights. The interior is modern and clean. While service may be minimal, it's compensated by the impressive speed. Food typically shows up no more than 5 minutes after ordering. Flavor is solid compared to other pho places in the loop (although there are definitely more authentic options in Chinatown/Vietnamese town). Price is reasonable given the portion and location. I recommend their pho and vermicelli.

The saying goes "if you want good Phở, you have to go to Chinatown." Well folks, I live 45 minutes away from Chinatown and I'm glad Pho Ben proved that expression wrong. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese food includes chả giò, gỏi cuốn, bánh mì, cơm dĩa, bún thịt nướng, mì, and phở with prices ranging from $5 - $12. The restaurant is located in the Heights with a modern feel and it's truly impressive that the prices are so reasonable.

This place used to be my favorite, so it makes me sad to write this. The bun bo hue just gets more and more watery, then banh mi bread is now awful. Think squishy, white bread from the generic store, not French bread. Th service continues to be great, but I can't come back for the food anymore:(

Good pho, affordable prices, and great ambience!I loved their original location in north Houston so I had high expectations for this. We were seated immediately. Lots of space & airy ambience. Pho is still priced decently here - $10.99 for a large bowl. They don't give much meat but the broth is good & worth it. Ca phê sữa đá was also good and strong. Pay at the front when you're done. Ample parking and easy location. I will definitely be back!

From a Vietnamese perspective... a rare combination of excellent food AND service. Greeted immediately and sat quickly for a big group during the busy lunch rush during the peak of the Lunar New Year. Restaurant is well decorated, with great displays explaining Vietnamese food and words. Food was delicious, constantly checked on multiple times. Well done.

This place sucked. The service was TERRIBLE. My friend didn't even eat her food because the chicken was "squishy". They seated us at the front so we were easily forgotten because there is a wall dividing the front from the rest of the restaurant. I ordered an iced coffee and they gave me basically an iced chocolate milk. When I sent it back he told me I would still be charged for it. I had to go back and forth with him reminding him that I didn't even drink it. The cup was still full. He finally removed it "as a one time courtesy"We took up two tables but the waitress kept putting the food and drinks on one table for us to personally pass the food around to the next person. There are so many good pho places with good service and this is not one that I recommend.
