Best pho I've ever had. Large portions, good price, vegan options, delicious food. The staff is very friendly as well. I want to see places like this stay open so I came to reviews. I ordered the grill chicken banh mi sandwich. The bread was fresh, soft and tasty. The grilled chicken was amazing, extremely flavorful and well seasoned.

Lunch under $10??? Yes please!! Usually get the grilled shrimp Bahn mi and never disappointed. Also hard for me to resist the Vietnamese ice coffee. Have come with several different coworkers who have ordered all sorts of things and have never heard any complaints. Everything tastes fresh and homey, love that it's a friendly mom n pop shop, and want to see this business succeed so I can keep trying different dishes

Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious and environment was nice and clean. Will be back! Yummy pho with a very flavor filled broth.

This hidden gem is located in Barrio Logan close by 28th street. Great customer service. It was such a comforting family friendly environment. We ordered the chicken banh mi, rice noodles with bbq chicken & shrimp plus egg roll combo plate and 6 crispy egg rolls. Everything tasted delicious , freshly made and very authentic food. Nice portion sizes and extremely affordable. Must try spot

Incredible service! So friendly and efficient! We ordered two shrimp pho, one chicken pho, and one kids pho. We also ordered spicy tuna , eel roll, and a California roll. It was all delicious!

I am pretty picky about pho and I've always gone to the same places. I saw Mai's Kitchen on Yelp and came on a chilly night for some noodle soups. Tbh, the sushi part intrigued me but I feel as if I needed to be craving either one or the other. Nem Nuong Spring Rolls (3.5/5): A good size, but the peanut sauce is a little too sweet for me! The grilled pork was a bit thin but they had lots of fresh spring veggies.#11). Rare steak, flank, brisket, tripe, tendon (4/5): I thought the broth was much on the lighter side but it was great. I got the perfect amount of meats and they were thinly sliced. I was able to finish a large bowl and I think it's worth it for only a dollar more.Bun Bo Hue (3/5): I was curious to try this as I've only been limited to few bun bo hue places in sd. They used cubed ham which I thought was questionable. Other than that, the soup was great! The broth and noodles are the best part!I like Mai's Kitchen and they seemed to have a lot of regulars coming here as well as those working in the Navy I believe. They definitely have options past pho and sushi (look at their chef's specials). I have yet to try their sushi but I can vouch for the pho!

this is my second review here, but i've been coming here consistently for a few months now and i had to come back and say again that this place is so good! if you like sushi the Tijuana roll is the best sushi i've ever tried!!!

Stopped in on my trip to San Diego. Good and service were excellent. The place was clean, including the restroom. Great family owned small diner, I'll be. Ack!

The lady at the front was nice and soft spoken. I ordered my food to go. I have been on the search for Com Bao Luc Lac. I really enjoyed it. I would def recommend.
