Solid 3 star for Pho 46. The Pho was not bad at all, just not up to par with my other "go to" Pho places. Ordered my rare steak pho and it came out with very few pieces of meat.. and I mean few. I didn't taste the flavors of cinnamon, star anise, cardamom etc. we really had to add condiments to flavor it up. They provided lemons , not limes and also had some off brand sriracha sauce that was not the best. Overall not a bad pho place, there was no line and service was eh. I Really liked the bowls they served it in, it add a nice touch and different from places.

House Special Pho is mediocre, beef was dry texture but the soup base wasn't bad and I liked how it tasted light. The fried chicken wings were so so and more on the dry side because it was overcooked IMO. Service was okay but don't expect a smile along with it. Restaurant is a bit old on the inside. Probably won't be back here again.

I came here after waiting for a bank to open after Hurricane Hilary swept through San Diego. The pho aroma of this place floated over. That is what attracted me to this spot.I said to myself, I shall stopped here after the bank visit.I checked the prices on the menu. They menu price looked to be updated by stickers. And I saw that a can of soda was $2.25 and it's other drinks (with glass) it's about over $5.00. I ordered myself a pho and a spring rolls. This place is popular, cuz when I got there there were plenty of empty seats and table. Less than 10-15 min later the whole place was packed with patrons! This place have a sweet aroma of pho based soup. But somehow my order of pho's soup lack context of its flavor. But I think the place got so busy they were short staffed.I had add some spices to the pho, to bring out more flavors of the soup.

It's a pretty standard Vietnamese restaurant. It's nothing fancy, just a place where they serve decent food at a good price. I had the Banh mi sandwich with traditional pork. It was a tad pricey for this type of cheap street food. The service was quick.

After being spoiled by amazing Vietnamese food in San Francisco, I could not imagine having a replica in San Diego. I tested out the special pho at this restaurant and it was very good! The beef soup tasted very refreshing and light. I do not prefer too much salt and oil in my dishes, but this place just does it right. I also love their pork chop rice dish as well! The marinade is just yummy!! 10/10 in my books.

No normal or large size options for pho...just one option with very little meat and a huge helping of noodles. The broth was a bit watered down, aside from that a decent bowl of pho for under $10. Didn't realize they had a happy hour so I might come back to try some other dishes.

Shocked I've never reviewed this spot before. Been coming here for awhile. It's not my go to but if I'm near the area & wanting pho, this is where I end up. The restaurant itself is old & grungy. The only server I've ever seen isn't the friendliest but she gets the job done. The food is pretty good. Some days the pho broth is a miss but more often than not, it is flavorful! Love their appetizers & stir fried noodles! They used to have great happy hour deals. Not sure they still do but still reasonable prices.

I came here for the first time and was very pleased with my dish, "Vermicelli with stir-fried beef with lemongrass, chili, and onions". First of all, very few VN restaurants offer this dish in San Diego, but here, not only it's on their menu, it was well-prepared. The beef was tender and the vegetables were very fresh and lots of it. Sorry, I didn't take the photo to show you. I will definitely come back to try more dishes from this place. Their prices are also more reasonable than other places. The service was fast, and the ambiance is nice, quiet and clean.

Tried this after noting the good reviews. Quick service as we got the house Pho and combo wok fried noodles in under 10 minutes. I enjoyed the depth you'd expect from a soup base, however, my wife didn't care for the protein for a reason she couldn't quite explain. I thought both portions were commensurate with the pricing, and being modest eaters, we had some take home. I'd return but I'm unsure my wife would

Good quality, big portions, decent price($11). I usually get the beef fried rice all the rice options are what I'd expect. Their smoothies are a go to ($4.5) honeydew or taro, it's not a heavy taste more of light and refreshing sense to it. Only downside is when it is closed google does not reflect, always closed Sundays and schedule vary depending on the holiday.
