After shopping at Alderwood mall on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I looked up a few pho spots within the area and came across Pho 36. I was a little hesitant to give the place a try at first as I have a favorite pho spot further south (on my way home) but am so happy I gave this place a chance. The place had a few tables, and the workers seemed quite busy but I was greeted warmly and seated quickly. The place was noticeably clean too. I ordered the vegetable and fried tofu pho with beef broth and a side of egg rolls. To my delight, they gave me 4 eggs for $8. The broth was some of the best savory broth I've ever had and there was an assortment of vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, green onion) unlike other places that only give you carrots and broccoli. The pho was reasonably priced for the area at $13.50. This place has 5 stars in my book and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again and try their other dishes.

Pho 36 is one of our favorite pho restaurants in the Lynnwood area. We've dined in at and done takeout from Pho 36 several times and it's been consistently good. It's a restaurant that can easily accommodate small parties of 2 to 4, as well as larger parties of 8+ with relative ease. The staff has always been friendly and able to accommodate any of our requests, both for dine in and takeout. The food there is "good." We've tried a variety of different pho and other soup dishes, as well as various rice and vermicelli noodle bowl dishes too and we've routinely enjoyed the food. If you're not interested in pho, but want soup, then I would strongly suggest the Bun Bo Hue, which may be my favorite soup - that or ramen. Of the pho/Vietnamese restaurants that I've tried in the Lynnwood area, Pho 36 has consistently been as good if not better than all of them. It's the best place for pho in Lynnwood that I've tried to date.

Pho was tasty, Prices reasonable. $12.50-$14 for generous portion of Pho.Wished I hadn't used the restroom....very filthy. Always an indication of how clean the kitchen may be...Only saw 2 employees working. One front line and one back kitchen. They were handling quite a few takeout orders. We ordered the seafood and chicken Pho. Chicken was a bit chewy.

The best pho I've ever had. And I've had a lot of pho. There's so much meat. The meat lasts until I'm done with the pho and able to have meat with every bite. It's my go to place now. I'll never go anywhere else!

As you walk up to the restaurant there's nothing special about it. Very standard Vietnamese. Not much in decorations but it is clean. The menu is old with delaminating plastic cover and stickers over the old menu price and hand-writtren new price. My review is pretty much on the food and not so much the ambience. I had the bamboo duck noodle soup. It had to be done right and presented on separate plates. It had to have the full compliment of boiled duck on top of a bed of seasoned shredded cabbage. And that's exactly what they did. The soup tasted right. The duck salad was spot on. The portions were right. Everything was as they are supposed to be. Great presentation and taste.

Came in on a Thursday night with my daughter when we had a hankering for pho. We both ordered pho with beef brisket and flank. We were offered two sizes: medium or large. We ordered the medium. It was huge. My daughter couldn't finish her bowl. I did. (:The broth was flavorful, the add-ins were fresh (basil, sprouts, lime, jalapenos) and the dining room was clean. When we needed a fork and extra napkins, we got them.We will definitely come back. Despite only one person working the dining room and simultaneously taking to-go orders, service was prompt and friendly enough.

We moved recently and this spot is around the corner, however we likely will never visit again.. Highlight was lunch with my Queen. Next is the egg-rolls, pretty tasty! The Bahn Mi was pretty good also, bigger than most. The Pho was ok, have had better.. The broth was not as flavorful as we've had other places. Nobody asked how our meal was, nor did they ever refill my water. If the place wasn't so filthy, and the service poor, we would probably return, simply because it's within walking distance. There is spot in Everett called Basil Authentic that blows this place out of the water!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOMOPHOBIC RESTAURANT!!! THEY ARE NOT LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY!!!We are a gay couple and we went here for lunch, when my husband came to the counter to pay, the servers think he is not Vietnamese so both of them used inappropriate words to make fun at our gender. They laughed and called us "bede", which is a Vietnamese word for gender discrimination, similar to "faggot" in English. The bare minimum requirement when working at a restaurant is not to say bad things about customers. We came to eat very politely, we didn't ask them anything when we were there, we gave them a nice tip. Why did they gossip about our gender in front of my husband? Unfortunately for them, my husband understands Vietnamese. I wonders why it's 2023 and there are still YOUNG people with such old-fashioned and backward mindset. This is the 21st century, please educate yourself so you don't become a caveman. The owner should fire these servers if they still want their customers coming back. Imaging what they've said behind other non-Vietnamese LGBTQ+ customers. I will tell every LGBTQ+ friends of mine to boycott this restaurant until they have a proper apology!
