Phin is an Vietnamese coffee and linger spot in the international district - I would say it's not really ON some of the main Streets where there are a ton of stores and other food places - but I loved the aesthetic upon walking in and it's a 5/5 to linger and sit and chat if you find space. Food and drink wise - they have the classic Vietnamese drip coffee and I enjoyed eating their pandan waffle - it was a good size (size of a small frisbee) It's not the biggest place, there is limited seating so it can get crowded. Bathroom review 4.5/5 - They also have a bathroom which is relatively clean!

Yessss. Good, strong, quality vietnamese coffee. They have pandan, coconut, yogurt, salt cream flavored and more. Their signature vietnamese coffee waffle and pandan waffle powder mix can also be bought here.Limited seating with tables too low for working and there's no wifi, so this is more of a pit-stop-with-a-friend place. (Update as of May: there's now a long table with a few seats)Haven't been to this part of Chinatown, on the other side of the freeway, and it's a lot less sketchier with more upscale businesses. The people who live above this shop are so lucky.

Big YUM! Note: it's not well advertised, but you can adjust sweetness and I'm happy I got mine on the less sweet side bc it was perfect.Between coworkers and myself we tried 4 different drinks and a waffle and they were all great. Fresh and unique flavors. I loved the space too, nice high ceilings, cute decor, and big windows. Only one staff working (it's small) so don't come in a rush, but absolutely come by!! We'll be back fosho

Service Very friendly and kind. She was welcoming! CoffeeI ordered a Vietnamese coffee and normally don't drink coffee and this place exceeds my expectations of service, taste, and quality. Small coffee has 2 shots of espresso and condensed milk. It was delicious and a perfect pick me up! Would come here again!

I've been meaning to try out this spot for a while now!A small Vietnamese coffee shop on the outskirts of the International District, it is a low-key coffee shop that delivers well on its drinks. Despite being a small cafe, Phin is packed with people who come to socialize and play board games.I got the Black Sesame Matcha Latte and I thought it was really good! It was not too sweet and not bitter at all, just a well-rounded tasteful drink perfect for a Sunday afternoon.I will definitely come back here to try more of their coffee options!

I tried their coconut latte and it was very delicious and strong. The coconut tasted a little burned and left a bitter aftertaste but after trying many coconut lattes from different places I think that's how it suppose to taste like unless you are using mass-produced syrups. I'll definitely come back to try their other beverages. They have a website with menu and pictures.

Came to this place to try our first ever Vietnamese coffee, and we were not disappointed. The coffee was very strong and balanced. The menu had multiple drinks that looked really delicious and I wish I could have tried every single one! My husband who also typically doesn't love the strong taste of coffee in a drink, really loved his latte. Another great thing to note that I found unique about this shop was that they offer oat milk condensed milk! So now you can finally enjoy a Vietnamese Iced Coffee minus the dairy! Definitely worth the trip for some high quality drinks!

I enjoyed this nice Vietnamese cafe. I had the small classic ice coffee ($5) and it was pretty good. The coffee was sweet and not too bitter. The only con was that it was a bit small for the price and it had a good amount of ice in it. I also had the pandan waffle ($5) and it was pretty good. The flavor was great and it was crispy. The sizing of the waffle was good too. I enjoyed the ambiance of the cafe. It was nicely decorated and felt cozy. It was a bit on the smaller size though. Unfortunately the location isn't the best as well since it's more on the unsafe side of Chinatown. The service was good. The owner is nice, funny, and helpful. The coffee took a bit more time to make than normal, however, the coffee quality is pretty good which may be the reason why it takes longer

This coffee place is a small shop in an apartment building. The coffee shop has a selection of books by Vietnamese authors, one of which I purchased myself within the past year. Service does take longer given one person staffing the coffee shop the day I went.I will be back to try the waffles. Coffee was not overly sweet like some Vietnamese shops have with the condensed milk. Taste was more coffee than artificial flavoring. I will definitely be back for coffee. I did appreciate the cup not having mostly ice.

- cute little shop with authentic Viet coffee -We stopped by here and got a large iced viet milk coffee with oat milk to share. I like how there is no extra cost for the milk substitution. The coffee has an interesting aftertaste, but it tastes authentic like what we've tasted in Vietnam. It's still a bit too sweet for me due to the condensed milk, but I like how I need to try very hard to taste the oat milk (in other words, the milk got overpowered by the coffee, which is a desirable condition(?)). The shop also sells pastries and other stuff, but we were super full and didn't try anything else. I like the decor and it's quite cozy, and they have tons of houseplants like hoya, spider plants, monstera deliciosa, satin pothos.. but I gotta say some of them are lacking a good pole for support or sufficient light for better growth. They also have tons of books, and it's my first time to see Doraemon manga in Vietnamese. Overall it's a lovely stop for a quick break, but I guess the service could be slow as it's operated by one person.
