Visited here on a Saturday Night. wanted a good fix for a philly cheesesteak and the place did little to disappoint as far as taste goes.I wasn't particularly in the mood to converse and should've researched the menu before arriving because I was engaged pretty thoroughly about the menu while looking at it in the restaurant as well as during my wait for the food. It's nice to have hospitable people in the service industry but sometimes people just don't want to talk. not knocking them for being engaging just thought it showed a bit of "extra" on that side and unaware of the cues from the customer. super nice people. price wise i think was rather high considering all i got was two sandwiches (one small one large) and my tab was $30. also wasn't excited that i was charged extra to add green peppers when i ordered a sandwich that included peppers. When bringing it up I was told the price of green peppers were high in grocery stores, and that the philly native in the owner didn't believe that green peppers belonged on the cheesesteaks (at all) or should be on the menu (bell peppers are nowhere to be found on the menu but they have them).overall i would revisit for the food quality alone, but wouldn't be a frequent spot.

Very friendly staff.I had a regular philly with extra well done onions & peppers. The only two options for peppers were the sweet or the spicy ones. I went with the sweet and gotta say, not my favorite. Too sweet. Would have really liked the option of regular green peppers. Will give them another try soon.

It's very good. 4got to take a pic of my food since I was so hungry. I ordered the 5-piece wings with buffalo sauce & onion rings. The order was hot, wings were tossed just right with the sauce & still had a nice 'crunchy' bite (how did they do that?). The onion rings were HUGE and were just the right amount for a side serving. The servers were attentive and friendly. It's not so much of a hang-out spot but would be if the location was different b/c there is a small bar in the back...nice touch. The spot is popular though...it was never emptied of customers.

The food was delicious!! The Philly with whiz is def a must try! Staff was super friendly! I love that it's a husband and wife duo who own the establishment, so cute. The inside was nice and have a small bar section. Definitely will come back to try more!

The food is great, service great and upbeat atmosphere. I will not go anywhere else for a cheesesteak . We love the owners and they take pride in their small business and we love to support small businesses in our community. They have great wings as well. I highly recommend 10/10

Probably the closest thing I have eaten in Texas to a Philly Cheesteak. Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia this was a treat. Wish they had Cooper Sharp as a cheese option; that would make it legit! I appreciated the Amoroso Roll - nice touch. However, my personal preference is a roll with a hard crust on the outside. Overall, well seasoned and great tasting cheesesteak. I will definitely go back. Worth noting..... I read some reviews of people complaining about the price. That is normal for a place that uses sliced ribeye. Worth paying a little more for quality.

WOW! Pleasantly surprised. Stopped in after a long day at work and man the food was good. (Naked wings with the sauce on the side were killer & the cheesesteak was on point). The even more pleasant surprise was how friendly EVERYONE was at this place. I spent a good 20 minutes talking with the owner and his wife and they were TOP NOTCH PEOPLE. I couldn't imagine a bad review for this place. I mean maybe I got lucky and came at a great time, but I doubt it. Will definitely be back.

Best Philly I've had since moving to Texas in June 2022. I worked at a genuine Philly cheesesteak shop up north and Philly Flats is EXACTLY the kind of place I was looking for. Service was great, good vibes, and nicely decorated inside. Staff was friendly and welcoming!Definitely will stop by for 1 more philly on my way back to Dallas. The spicy red peppers are a great touch!

I am so happy that we chose to try this gem. It is amazing. Philly cheesesteaks are one of my favorite foods. Let me start by saying, the staff is beyond kind, welcoming and top notch. Rarely do you feel like a member of the family from start to finish. I would assume they are the owners, and they know good customer service .A++.The menu has a lot to choose from and different sizes, which to me is a win win. Everything came out fresh and hot. They even had a daily special today, which came to a side and a drink. Fries were only 2$ more and with or without seasoning. The fries seasoning was awesome. Now, one of the best options they have is if you don't want the bun, which was freaking amazing, you can get your meat on a bed of lettuce. Brilliant. Give them gem a try and you won't be sorry. I highly recommend the food. Let's support a new business and show them love!!
