The Shroomy Shroom Latte at Phatties is by far my new favorite source of caffeine! I love that there is no extra charge for milk substitutions too :) Stopped by this morning before work, and cant close out my day without giving the barista Julian some positive recognition! His friendly personality and service definitely reflects the quality of products this cafe provides. He explained everything and sampled out a couple of beautiful pastries to me. To my surprise, they were even all vegan and gluten free! Im glad I discovered this gem and I'll definitely be back for more!

Brandon is an absolute angel. I was overwhelmed with so many delicious options and Brandon let me try to two donuts and spent time talking me through beverage options and breakfast options. It's fun and pink and the music is great! It helps make you feel awake and happy. The service is 10/10 it's a must go!!!

Holy Smokes it's a Vegan bakery and they got daily delicious bake samples the Blueberry Lemon Loaf is rich and flavorful very tasty This little Bakery is very Cosmopolitan with a Little Rock and Roll thank you for letting us try them samples.

Pop tart was sooooooo tough you could hardly chew it. Gluten free items are typically more dense than traditional baked goods, but this is beyond that. Skip this item... I just tossed $7 in the garbage. Cinnamon roll is MEGA HUGE. Very doughy in the center. There's an abundant amount of glaze on the bottom of the roll, so it's oozing with sugary, gooey sweetness on the bottom. At first I didn't think there was enough frosting, but there's plenty after I realized how sticky the bottom of the roll is. Unfortunately it is a whopping $14! I will say it's good, but not worth that kind of a price tag. Top notch customer service, but that doesn't make up for the hefty prices and poor quality in some of the items.Vinnie, Appreciate the quick reply to my second review. I didn't intend for 3 stars to be negative, but true to the items I ordered today. For what it's worth, my previous visit review was 5 stars. I just tried to call the store, but told you aren't in. I welcome the opportunity to speak when you're available. You are correct, I did order extra frosting (and offered to pay for it), but it was not in my bag when I got to my destination.I do hope you reach out. Until then, don't stop baking the goods ... You have a great following and dedicated customers who'd be crushed to see you push them to standard bakeries.

What a cutie little bake shop in Point Loma! I rarely explore this area outside of Liberty Station so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place. I easily found street parking but I can imagine it will be tough sometimes. The bakery is small but the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable (big shout out to JoSalle!). They offered samples of their baked goods (LOVED the strawberry shortcake donut) and great coffee recommendations. I also highly recommend trying the quiche if you're more of a savory breakfast person it was super tasty. Definitely check this place out, I can't wait to come again and try something new!

So happy to have found Phattie's on a recent trip to SD! I was looking for a place with vegan options for dessert and was so happy to see everything was vegan. I got a birthday cake donut, a big hostess-style cupcake, and an iced Oatmilk latte. All were delicious! The donut was more cake-donut style, but was moist and not too sweet. The cupcake was also rich and moist. And the latte was delish! Also, the person working was so sweet and suggested some other places for me to try in town. The decor was adorable and inviting. Highly recommend Phattie's!

I went for the first time the other day based on a rec from a friend. I really like the vibe; cozy, but upscale. I wasn't sure what to try (great menu), but Julian gave me some recs and a sample. I think it was coffee cake(?). I got that and really yummy Ube 4 Daze. I kinda destroyed the coffee cake so I just took a photo of my drink. I'll be back to try other things! Thanks, Julian!

Julian was our barista and went above and beyond to make sure we left happy!Looooved our strawberry tres leches and have a lot more goodies to try, can't wait to be back!The vibe is amazing too- felt like we were transported to a different world
