Petoskey's

An OK bar. Attended a Vikings vs. Niners game on Sunday, Nov. 28th. Arrived at around noon. Typical American food with Pizzas, Chicken Wings, French Fries and Tater Tots. Tried the Walleye fish sandwich which wasn't that tasty. Was missing some flavor and seasoning. Tater Tots were very good. Chicken Wings were OK. Pizza wasn't that good, as it came out burnt and with very little toppings of Jalapeño and Pepperoni. We even asked for extra Jalapeño, too.Service was pretty good. They even gave out Viking Purple shots during halftime. Wish they weren't too stingy with the carrot sticks as we had to keep asking for them multiple times as we only got 5 small pieces a plate at a time. We even said we didn't care if there was extra charge and wanted a big plateful of carrot sticks, but we only got 5, 5, 5 and then 10 carrot sticks for the 3 of us. We were there until 4:30 PM, so it would have been nice to get better service from Noon until we left. Getting refills was kind of tough as well since the server was hard to find during game time.Vikings lost the game, the crowd was decent, but there were a couple of annoying people who were being loud and obnoxious after they became belligerent and drunk.

Hockey!!! this place is cracking when the Kraken are playing, good place to get drinks and watch the any hockey game if you live in ballard or Fremont and they are they are so dog friendly . Love their gluten free pizza and drinks dint break the bank.

The Detroit pizza was way too burnt and overly spicy with jalapenos. I didn't come for the food but that was still pretty bad.

Review in the Time of Covid: This review only covers the quality of food ordered for delivery. Ordering through the website for delivery (even delivery later in the day) was easy. They deliver through DoorDash, and though I clicked the request for updates on order, none were received. This has happened at other places that use DoorDash, so I'm guessing it's a tech problem outside of their control. Delivery was almost exactly when I ordered.We got two pizzas. These are thin crust pizzas, cut into squares instead of slices, which made my Midwestern heart happy. We got The Great Mike Petoskey and the Mackinac Island - even asked in the comments to put the jalepeños on half, and they did! The pizzas were a little *too* good for Midwestern bar food. They were saucy and delicious. The jalepeños were a little too mild for my taste, but overall the pizzas were hit for family TV night. I wish the toppings were bit more edge to edge, as some of the corner pieces were mostly crust. The middle slices were the best, by far.I look forward to trying their other Midwestern options.

This is a great sports bar. My boyfriend and I love to watch the Kraken games here. The staff is very friendly and the food is actually wonderful. I love the fried cheese, curds and the hoagies. Can't go wrong with the basket of tater tots either. The people are friendly and it's definitely a sports themed bar. The story about Petosky is a touching one for sure.

Highlights: - If you like "Bar Pie" GO HERE NOW.- I'm gonna say it - it's the best pizza in the city.- Staff is super (super) friendly. - Don't get turned off by the sports bar vibe (seriously, don't).- Hands down the best cheese curds i've ever had.- You wouldn't ever guess it but the cockails are good!I can't stress this enough - DO NOT get turned off by the ascetics if this is not your cup of tea (it's not mine!). The food, drink and service of this place can stand (firmly) on their own. This was seriously some of the best pizza i've had in ages and the service just makes you feel like you're "at home".

Love having a piece of the Midwest here in Seattle! The bartender was excellent -- great service, super nice, and paid close attention to who was at the bar and what games to play with sound. Great place to catch a game if you're a fan of a Midwest team. Pizza and cheese curds were decent but we were more there for the atmosphere than the food!

Really good $5.00 burger. Nice atmosphere. They have my favorite non- alcohol beer Athletic IPA. People were playing poker. No pool table or anything. Nice bar tenders.

This is not a Petosky MI bar. I went for the Dallas vs Lions game and was so disappointed. The bar is painted in Vikings colors. Not Lions!!! They are a fraud and the head bartender was not polite and did not pay enough attention to the Lions fans that were at the bar! Hopefully they will change their name to Vikings Bar!

Petoskey's is still great. Pizza is so great as are the cheese curds. Love their selection of beers on tap.
