Love this place sometimes they have a long wait but always worth it. Been coming here since I was little and love that the food hasn't changed

This place sucks assWaited for a hour at the window to get order. Then what do ya know. They forgot all the sauces. You had a hour to prepare my order and you forget all the sauces.

This place is literally the best place to get fried fish, and yes, it is absolutely worth the drive. It has the perfect amount of crispness, and the hot sauce it comes with is just amazing. Please note, this place is cash only; but that is also worth it!

Wish I could give this place zero stars , the fried mushrooms were still frozen in the middle , had to bring them home to airfry them. The fish is sad , squared frozen off brand filet o fish, so if you're expecting real fish and chips head elsewhere , there's a pretty decent long John silvers in Mesa off of power rd. Avoid this dump at all costs.

The Pete's Fish & Chips in Mesa is always popping so I thought I'd finally give it a try (except this location is closer to me). I was surprised to see how low the reviews were, at this location and the Mesa location. It seems most of the gripes are the long wait time. I attempted to call in my order to alleviate this concern however the line was always busy (and I called 6-7 times at different times). Okay, I decided to drive by and see if the line is as terrible as I've read. 7:45 on a Tuesday night and there was only one truck ahead of me. Score!I ordered the 5 piece fish and chips to share with bf. It does not come with tartar sauce automatically so I paid .45 for 2oz. It came out to $10.59 total. Cash only! (A bit inconvenient in this day and time, although there are ATMs on site). It only took about 5 minutes after placing my order to get it. I unveiled the hot goodness when I got home. It came with Pete's sauce which is/resembles cocktail sauce. Not my fave personally. The fish itself is square which is a bit odd/different than I am used to. It was sprinkled with salt. It was hot and crispy and I could taste the fish! The fries were good but they could have used another minute or so. Overall I can see why Pete's is so popular. Definitely give it a try if the line isn't long!

This is a must if your looking for food that can't honestly be healthy for you or your arteries. I love Pete's fish and chips! The fish is always hot and cripsy and this location was no exception. It was amazing. I always get a two piece of fish with fries and a drink. We went through the drive thru and although it was hard for us to hear the employee on the intercom, she got us through quickly. Prices are reasonable. They have other items as well that are a must try!

DISGUSTING! WHAT HAPPENED?Haven't had Pete's in many months and am now SERIOUSLY regretting going here.First thing I noticed - homeless characters hanging out in the courtyards, at the garbage bins, in front of building completely taking over the tables. NOT a good look or sign of what to expectI open bag at home and the fries were a barely warm - limp, soggy, sloppy oily mess not crispy at all.The "tartar" sauce was NOT what used to be served, but rather some GROSS different warm mayonnaise concoction.The final straw is when I bit into the fish, the inside was RAW! I am SO grossed out, I will NEVER eat here again!

It's great to have the good French fries back but you are cooking them slightly under cooked. Can only stand to eat a few.Hopefully you will fix that. Thank You!

The burger was so delicious! The fries were not crispy and yellow, they were soggy/white/shiny. I remember when Pete's used to have the best fries!! The crispiest and saltiest fries. Yum. Now the fries are not too different from white mashed potatoes.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pete's Fish n Chips. The customer service was abysmal; they repeatedly shut the window in my face, citing busyness, when all I wanted was to rectify the items missing from my initial order. It's disheartening when a simple request turns into a frustrating ordeal due to poor service.Adding to the frustration, the mediocre quality of the food at Pete's Fish n Chips made the extended wait utterly unjustifiable. The lackluster taste coupled with the already subpar service paints a disappointing picture of what should have been a straightforward and enjoyable dining experience.
