Pescada for the AZ Restaurant Week win! 5 stars in all areas..Food, service, ambiance, and more. We had the pig confit (flavors were amazing), scallops and Dungeness crab (scallops cooked to perfection but the pasta wrap of the Dungeness crab was a little too thick) and ocean trout that melts in your mouth. Dessert was somewhat mediocre compared to the rest of the offerings but we were honestly too full at that point to need anything more.The outside patio seating was very romantic and comfortable on a warm spring evening

The ambience and the service were impeccable. The location is great. The food really was a let down for us. The mains - octopus and the "trout" (which tasted and looked like a salmon) was super bland and sub par. The appetizers were really good. With so many great restaurants in the area, it may be a while if we come back.

First time here, it won't be our last! We started off with the house focaccia, on to the asparagus salad with pickled strawberries and asparagus mouse. I had the Third course, suckling, pig confit, UNREAL!!!!!4th course, deconstructed tiramisu, don't wear socks because it will knock them off. Oswaldo was picked to take care of us, and did he ever!!! We are blessed, loved his energy, knowledge and his overall personality. Also, his descriptions on the wine pairing was phenomenal.Other people that we enjoyed to make our experience so delightful was, Donovan, Xavier, Ritu and Ricky. But honestly, watching all the employees they would anyone feel welcomed and they would want to come back.I WOULD RECOMMEND AND RETURN

Excellent. This place is beautiful. Great atmosphere! Went for sissy's birthday and everything was spot on. Focaccia bread was delicious! Eggplant, filet, stew, sea bass. All the entrees were perfect! Cocktails were great and our server Nadia was awesome. Definitely coming back!

Pescada is such a beautiful relatively new eatery in North Scottsdale! From the family of Vic & Ola's; Alma; The Little Snitch and Soul we are true fans. We made a reservation last week when we had guests in town and this may be a new date night place. My husband added notes to the reservation for my allergies; someone in our group had a dietary restriction and we wanted a cozy table. ALL the things! Upon entering I was immediately taken aback by how pretty Pescada was! Pretty pale greens and off whites; lots of cute little furnishings reminded me of a truly upscale experience in Europe. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The bar was pretty packed. We were sat and our waited was there in a moment; he greeted my husband by name and went over every single little note in the reservation, including my allergies. He said he would note everything with the chef when I ordered. THAT is so hard to find and it makes an already difficult eating situation so challenging when eating out, so I was truly impressed with this waiter right off the bat. The wine list also impressed me. Lots of Spanish influences; having just spent a few weeks touring Spain I knew I was having a familiar Rose Cava that was tricky to find outside of Spain. My husband and our dining partners ordered bourbon-y-esq cocktails and I sampled one and they were pretty for the eyes. I loved all the glass ware that was super vintage and my true obsession for the collective! There was an order of Oysters for the table. I ordered the Shrimp/Lobster Mezzelunne as my entree and my husband the Portuguese Stew, which comes deconstructed. This menu had me stumped as there were several things on it that I could have ordered and been so happy with. Someone at our table wanted to pick apart the Gazpacho, which sort of had my head spinning, ( they took off the pomegranate ! and I was interested in what that flavor combo would be like! however, it was not my dish so it isn't for me to judge or comment on..KEEP quiet! I must say this to myself 18000x a day! ) .. I truly thought this would be the time the chef would say that they could not oblige, but it wasn't a problem! This person also ordered a Caesar Salad and made sure to ask if the the anchovies were real!!!??? They in fact, are! That salad looked amazing! This person didn't share.. and she had been sick so I would not have wanted to anyway.. Next time though, I will be getting that salad! My husband's deconstructed stew was super amazing and I believe we all had envy. It came out in the cutest Staub copper pot .. a bed of Saffron rice in another pot; all of the lime; Calabrian chiles; Cilantro; and two small Portuguese rolls on a board! My Shrimp/Lobster Mezzelunne didn't seem to large at first sight , but it was rich; floating in limoncello sauce- these al dente ravioli that are stuffed with the right amount of lobster and shrimp! I was full after 3 pastas! I loved the cook on the pasta.. NO one realizes what 'al dente' is . As I read these reviews of people saying their pasta is not cooked. That's the cook on true, authentic pasta. Dessert was a bit of an issue due to my allergies. However, I was able to have the Panna Cotta trio. I waited all week to splurge and this was the night. I am so happy we shared! The wine; the service; the decadence.. We can't wait to come back again!

Good food. Great service. Very pleasant ambiance. Out of all the restaurants run by the same owners, it's my favorite along with Alma. Is it revolutionary and innovative? Maybe not, but scallops were done right and a charcuterie board was quite tasty. If you like Spanish influenced food, you should give it a try. It's not a cheap experience, but it's worth it.

What's up everybody!! Soooooooo. Restaurant week is always one of my favorite times of the year, especially when it occurs during bday month. I went to this newer, Mediterranean inspired Seafood spot. And yo, it's definitely one of the top 5 restaurants I've been to in AZ. Let's get to it. Andalusia Gazpacho & Smoked Trout Stuffed Eggs - (Gazpacho) Chilled Tomato Soup with fresh Cucumber, Peppers and Chili Oil. flames!! (Stuffed Eggs) Deviled Eggs mixed with Trout, topped with Trout Caviar on a bed of Avocado Mousse. Amazing!!Portuguese Stew - Rich Chilean Seabass, Peppers, Tomatoes and Coconut Milk. Delish!! Served with a side of Saffron Rice, Portuguese Rolls and Lime. Short Rib Bourguigon - Nothing I ate was bad, all delish but this was my favorite dish. Fall of the bone Short Rib, Bourguigon Style, on a bed of Celeriac Puree with Carrots, Cremini Mushrooms, Pearl Onions and a Gremoleta (Dressing) Smackalicious!! Seriously. Must order for me. Blood Orange and Pistachio Panna Cotta - Sweet Cream thickened to perfection, Flavored Geletin on top. Mmmh. Chefs kiss. I highly recommend this place, service was top notch and outside of restaurant week, it's an affordable place given the amazing service and quality of food. Edward was our server and he was amazing, plus they gave me a legit bday card!!Also ordered the Focaccia Bread with Cod Pate, Housemade Italian Olives and Truffle Butter all to die for. Pescada is a solid choice if you're looking for a nice atmosphere are a business dinner. Our group split multiple appetizers, all of which were fun and unique. If you're a fan of deviled eggs, the Smoked Trout Stuffed Eggs are a fun twist, and the Croquetas de Bacalao taste like they came straight from Spain. My main dish, the lobster pasta, was slightly overpriced for the quantity, but the watermelon gazpacho made up for it - perfectly tangy and served like we've experienced before at Michelin-starred restaurants.The reason why this place is getting 5 stars, though, is our waiter (and bartender) T. I asked whether he could make any of the listed cocktails non-alcoholic, and his answer was "I can make anything, what flavors do you like?" I proceeded to have the two best mocktails I've had in my life. He made a spectacular gin&tonic alternative, and when I mentioned that I'm usually an Old Fashioned drinker but I haven't found anything mimicking a bourbon drink yet, he whipped out an absolutely killer alternative to an Old Fashioned. I haven't had anything like it. It looked absolutely identical to the other Old Fashioneds at the table and similarly was a slow sipper, but with herbal base instead of the typical alcohol. Absolutely incredible.Prices 4/5, food 4+/5, mocktails 100/5.T's concoctions should be on the menu.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My dad and I went to Pescada for the first time last night and it exceeded all expectations. The food was wonderful, our server Bailey and the rest of the staff were wonderful. I asked them to make me a mocktail with ginger, lemon, honey and bee pollen (I saw all of these things on their menu) and they did so without hesitation and it was delicious! We ordered the oysters, the crab cake, the sea bass, the artic char and the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and so thoughtfully prepared. Also, the table setup was beautiful! The lamp, the salt and pepper shakers, the plates, the glasses looking forward to trying more menu items and enjoying many more meals here.
