Delicious food and nice ambiance! This place was a bit chaotic on our Friday night visit. When we arrived, servers were carrying food across a path between the front door and the hostess desk, which was very awkward. Not sure why they don't have a place for them to travel where they aren't bumping into guests who are arriving and departing! We had a reservation and were seated on the second floor next to a window, where there was a beautiful view of the mountains. Our server was polite and helpfully answered our questions. We shared an appetizer platter which let us all try a few different items, including dolma and hummus. Yum! . For entrees, one person chose a vegetarian meal and the remaining six of us opted to share combination platters. At the suggestion of our server, we ordered 3 platters instead of 2. In the end, 2 platters would have been plenty! We were sad to let the leftovers go to waste, but we were visiting from out of state and would not be able to take food back with us. The platters included chicken, steak, tomatoes and tons of rice. So much rice. I really enjoyed the chicken and the rice was a good filler. A few of us also had barberry margaritas, which were very refreshing on an Arizona summer evening. I would not hesitate to return and try additional items the next time I'm in the area. I definitely recommend sitting upstairs if possible to avoid the hustle and bustle from the staff.

My wife and I love middle eastern food and we were in the Scottsdale area and saw this restaurant. We were excited to give it a shot.The hummus was amazing.....but that's all that was good.My wife is a Greek salad expert and the Greek salad had the makings of something good then they served it with yogurt dressing which destroyed the flavor. Every Greek salad we have ever eaten had some type of vinaigrette.We ordered the chicken breast and filet platter and it was average at best. No special flavor. That being said the chicken and beef were cooked well, just no flavor.The older I get the more I realize the fancier a place seems on the inside the lower quality the food.It's all about the experience and not the food.The waiter asked how the food was and we said the salad was not good and he kinda blew it off.I can't recommend this place because I would never come back....EVER!!!!

Was in Phoenix for work and was talking to me doc in El Paso and he said "you have to try this place." Looked it up on Google maps and I kid you not it's right across the street from my hotel. They almost share a parking lot, close. Walked in and I was the first person there for lunch. They brought out naan, and onion, basil, and butter. I could have eaten just this and been happy. My buddy told me I had to try the tenderloin and ground meat. Can't remember the name but they have a "lunch" portion and dinner. I say lunch because I could have easily fed 3 people with the amount of food that was there. Easily. Everyone is friendly. Service was top notch. Food was out of this world delicious. Need I say more? You need to go here!

Wow! My friends took me to this place in a tiny strip mall and it was surprisingly awesome. From the outside it just looks any other business. But walking in felt like walking into a grand hotel. We were seated promptly and ordered some drinks. A plate of basil, onion and flatbread arrived. My friend recommended getting a combo platter that included three meat selections. Also ordered the appetizer platter which was awesome as well. The meal was satisfying and the service was top notch. Definitely coming back here.

Great service and delicious food! Their platters are huge and great for sharing or having leftovers to go. I ordered the kefte kabob and it was very good!The service is excellent and they are very attentive especially with refilling the bread bowl. Highly recommend coming here!

Great place to meet up with friends. The portion sizes are huge and perfect for sharing. I was really impressed with the quality and flavors of the food - some of the best Persian food I have tasted. However, the service was truly all over the place, as other reviews have mentioned. Some of the staff looked as if they didn't know what their exact roles were, there was a lot of redundancy. Overall, the dining experience was still good, and the quality of the food made up for any hiccups in service.

I tried Persian Room this week for my first time with a friend and was immediately impressed with the vibe of the restaurant. Walking in, the venue felt very authentic and the workers were very nice. Unfortunately, the food took over an hour to come out to us and we had only ordered one combo platter. The server didn't mention any reason for the wait so we weren't sure if he forgot to ring it in or if it was for another reason. We ordered a Beef, Chicken, and lamb platter. The beef kebab we ordered was a a ground beef mixed with onions and had a delicious flavor. I would go back for these alone they were so good! The lamb was overly cooked which was disappointing but held a good flavor. The chicken was good, but I'd like to try some different kebabs next time I go.
